I was worried about the new MagiReco auto Mirrors event but it's actually pretty fun (although tbf I do have busted units lmao). Obtainability: Limited to the "Mitsuru Inami Wants to be Normal" event gacha. This is event bonus memoria.

Single Effect: Magia Seal [100%] (Target / 1 Turn) & Damage Down [40%] (All Enemies / 1 Turn)

MLB Effect: Magia Seal [100%] (Target / 1 Turn) & Damage Down [45%] (All Enemies / 1 Turn)

Effect Definitions:

Magia Seal is a Status Ailment that prevents the target from using their Magia/Doppel.

Damage Down will decrease the target’s damage on attacks.

TLDR: This is an excellent memoria for Ranked Mirrors, provided you have the right units. If you don't care about Ranking, then feel free to skip it.

Review: It should come as no surprise that this memoria is Ranked mirrors whale bait, however it's more unique than you might think. For one, there are only two memoria in the game that can give Magia Seal-- and "Ascending Cherry Blossom Front" is the other one; notably a limited memoria that hasn't had a rerun in years. That makes "I Am Here" very important to any whale that wants an easy on-hand demand Magia Seal to keep pesky Devil Homuras from wiping their team in Ranked mirrors.

Note the short cooldown at five turns-- if you want to use this memoria, you'll need to max awaken it to properly utilize it. On units with turn-one Skill Quicken (such as Darkness Mitama, Akuma Homura-chan, and Mitsuru Inami), this memoria can be used on turn two. This makes it extremely powerful in denying specific enemy units their magia/doppels, especially if the enemy had enough anti-status ailments to prevent previous Magia Seals from being applied in the first turn.

The Damage Down is also helpful in applying a blanket debuff to the entire enemy team-- note however that the Magia Seal portion only extends to one character, so make sure you select them before using this memoria.

If you don't care about Mirrors Ranking then you can feel free to disregard this memoria. Though, do note that it's possible that it might have some niche use in battle types like the Hundred Evils where enemy magia can be an issue, but don't roll on the gacha just for that possibility.

I will be honest, when I saw this year's Magirepo unit (Akuma Homura-chan) and this year's Magia Day theme color (purple) I thought we were getting Akuma Homura.

But Iroha makes more sense, I knew they would make her ultimate in a way similar to Madokami. I'm looking forward to seeing her abilities in this new form 🤩

so me and 2.0 got to chatting, and we made something else for the Homura Tamura side of this whole DW AU. Allow me to present "Tamura Makes a New Friend!" story.

Akemi Homura, forever burdened with the misnomer of Akuma Tamura, has just recently woken up from her most recent timeline reset and now sat upright in her hospital bed. The last loop had been a bit rougher than the previous few she endured, yet her perserverance was not rewarded; Madoka was forced to contract early as the Holy Quartet fought an early arrival of Walpurgisnatch.

Rubbing the tears away from her eyes, visions of a pink corpse left falling to the earth, Homura got her metaphorical shit together and flung herself out of bed. There was no time to waste, every precious second not moving in reality or in her stasis a terrible loss.

Making herself comfortable in her apartment complex Homura set to work on reenrolling herself into Mitakihara Middle School. The process was second nature to the Time Traveler now, so many years of reliving the same six weeks leaving a very mundane and tedious task be ingrained to her muscle memory. After this came the good six or hours doing weapons maintenance, taking stock of all her ammo and explosives, looking into the savings she kept in her shield, deciding whether or not to steal the dirty money along with all the weapons and bullets of every Yakuza hideout in Mitakihara.

It was always a long and tedious three days  for Homura, but she endured this weekend before and she will do so again. And again. And again. As many times as she has to.

For her. Everything, always for her.

Once she had finally gotten through the necessary channels at Mitakihara Middle School and registered herself as a new enrolling student, Homura stretched from her hunched over position at the apartment's shitty table and left her home. She already had a route planned out for her supply run but she had to make a quick detour elsewhere; there was a certain black cat that needed to not die before next Monday. Making her way up and down the very familiar roads of the town's upper-middle class district the Time Traveler found herself at a thin road in between grass and grass with trees, the spot where everything truly began her endless cycle.

Making herself comfortable Homura sat down on the grass ground for Amy-chan to show up and tempt fate. It was a beautiful day, as it always has and will be, yet it was always a day where Homura found herself wasting either a few minutes or several hours. Despite how often she goes out of her way to save the damned black cat the Time Traveler never found a set pattern or time frame for when Amy shows up. It gave Homura time to reflect back on her previous timeloop and jot down the chain of events that led to her looping, so she at least had that to occupy her thoughts as she waited for a fickle creature.

Hours went by as Homura was left catless that morning, the only living creatures arriving being a blonde girl who had given her a look - which gave her a nice confidence boost considering she just left the hospital - and the driver that would normal run over a furry little creature, now walking down the road instead.

Well then, guess she'll come back tomorrow.

...

...

And that was how Akemi Homura spent her recovery weekend, preparing herself for the inveitable fallout of Walpurgisnatch, stocking up her supplies, and waiting for a silly little black cat that she'd adopt on the spot if she ever showed up.

It was a moot point, however, when she showed up to class on that fated day where she would meet her dearest friends - and also Miki-san - for the first time. Homura stood outside of the classroom, the windows and door to the hallway darkened to keep the allusion of suprise up, waiting for Saotome Kazuko to call her into the room.

"Now then, class, I'd like to introduce a new student who will be joining us. Please, come on in, Akemi-san!"

Finally.

Stepping through the tinted door Homura strutted her way to the front of the class. When she stood in front of the whiteboard she turned to face the class, taking note of any noticable differences amongst the students. She scanned across the crowd of forgettable and unimportant faces before locking her eyes on-

A girl with blonde hair and black highlights pulled back into a ponytail with a blue ribbon parting her bangs. The darkest shade of purple bore into her own, rings of pink twinkling with anticipation and hope. Homura stared into the eyes of a girl sitting in the seat where Kaname Madoka sat.

Kaname Madoka was not here.

"Why don't you tell the class your name..."

It was a testament to her ability to control her breathing, to keep herself from trembling in confusion and worry, to keep her nails from piercing her palms, as she went through the motions as she always did.

"My name is Akemi Homura. It's a pleasure to meet you."

From then on the day went as it should. The annoying students would crowd around her desk before break began, the same questions asked about her previous school life answered with the same answers in the same "please leave me alone" tone she tried to best speak in. Without Madoka in class the shiny transfer student couldn't confidently walk up to the new anomoly and request to be escorted to the nurse's office; a moot point as that was the only time Homura used to effectively warn Madoka about the Incubator and the Mahou Shoujo curse.

A cough from the side silenced the students, parting away to allow the newcomer to stand before Homura's desk. She turned her gaze from the desk to royal blue (Blue? Weren't they violet?) and pink eyes, the unfamiliar girl smiling down on her. Her smile turned into a smirk and then she extended a hand towards the dark beauty.

"Excuse me Akemi-san, but you look like you're unwell. As the class health officer, would you like me to bring you to the nurse's office?"

Homura stared at the hand and then back at the blonde's face, her plans for the next month and a half being torn to shreds and then eviscerated by a shredder and then fed to the Sweets Witch. An uncomfortable moment passed as the crowd slowly left, sitting back at their seats or settling into their cliques, before finally accepting the offer. The two of them soon left the class room and headed towards the nurse's office, the route so familiar to Homura yet drastically different with this stranger.

When the two had reached that glass walkway her escort had stopped halfway. She turned to face the dark beauty with a cheeky smile, leaning over to daintly look into Homura's eyes with a wink.

"I didn't expect to see you in class today, Akemi-san. Had I known you would be transferring in I would have introduced myself last week." The blonde raised a hand to her mouth, gigling into the palm before bowing down. "I'm actually a transfer student, just like you! I came to this class, and this city a few years ago, so if you'd like we could get to know each other. Become friends through solidarity!"

The smile on her face was positively blinding. Homura was so intimately reminded of Madoka, of how she went out of her way to comfort and console the once shy girl. How she would declare herself a friend to a meek and frail twin-braid girl, who nobody ever liked. To have someone else want her, to be with her...

No. She couldn't- wouldn't allow that again. She wouldn't be able to keep herself sane.

"...Tell me. Do you value you you're life? Do you consider everything and everyone in your life precious?"

If she could at least save one innocent life in this cycle, prevent the Incubator from swindling another child into giving up their life in a tragedy...

"Well, that's a bit of a loaded question, don't you think so? Hmm...

If I had to be brutally honest, I'd say that there are veru few people I consider 'precious' to me. Life could be better, but it could also be a lot worse than it is now. I'd say that I don't things as they are."

"...Then you would do well to remain as you are."

"Eh?!"

"Should you seek out a way to become more than you should be, to obtain more than you already have, then you will lose everything.

Never change..."

It was at that moment, after Homura had left the walkway and entered the office, that she never learned that girl's name.

The next papa character will be super cool and awesome and the game seems in a good state… we got a new event with Alina I guess. Idk.
