The Delhi High Court upheld Starbucks' claim that a café in Jaipur had violated its trademark by using the term "Frappuccino" and awarded the American coffee company a judgment of more than Rs 13 lakh. The plaintiff is entitled to reimbursement for court costs, the judge further declares. A document titled "Advocate Fee Certificate" that details the sum of Rs 13,38,917.85 that the attorney charged as legal fees have also been provided by the plaintiff in addition to paying the court fee should be paid by the defendant’s owner.

Origin: 
The origin of the coffee bean affects its taste and quality. Soil composition, humidity, and climate all factor into what the final product will taste like in a cup. Roasters have their own opinions about which region produces the highest-quality beans, but every location has unique characteristics. For example, Central and South American beans tend to be cleaner and sweeter compared to Asian beans which commonly feature earthy flavors.
Altitude:
Because temperatures are lower at higher elevations, coffee beans grown there tend to grow more slowly. And since slow growth produces more complex taste profiles, high-altitude beans typically have better acidity, more sweetness, and more complex flavors.
Variety:
There are two main types of coffee: Arabica and Robusta. The latter grows in lower altitudes, contains twice as much caffeine as the former and is less expensive. However, coffee enthusiasts regard Arabica beans as superior — although more expensive, they are known for their smooth taste and range of scents.
Processing:
When it comes to coffee processing, two methods stand out: natural and washed. In natural processing, the whole coffee cherry—including the fruit—gets dried before removal of the outer layer of fruit. Washed coffees are processed differently: The fruit is removed from the bean before drying. This gives the beans a cleaner but more acidic flavor.
When purchasing coffee beans, examine their size and shape, along with their color and aroma. A little practice goes a long way toward telling the difference between great beans and mediocre ones.

The Wine Consumer Issue revolves around three primary axes. One axis is the ever-increasing demand by the consumer as wine popularity soars. Another angle to the wine consumer issue is the wholesalers, the traditional intermediaries, seek to protect their state-sanctioned monopolies, in other words, they want their share of the "American Money Pie". The last issue axis revolves around the old-fashion laws regarding shipment of wine across state lines. All of these issue components serve to restrict your ability to buy and ship your favorite wine no matter where you get it.
An ever-increasing favorite beverage of many people is wine and demand for wine is increasing rapidly. With over one-thousand different wine varieties, the choices seem nearly infinite. There is now at least one winery in every state, but distributors in all fifty states represent less than twenty percent of these wineries. In those states, the shipping restrictions range from limited to very restrictive. Fifteen states continue their ban on any form of cross border shipping of wine. Some of these states even classify that act as a felony. Imagine; obtaining the wine you want from where you want could have you facing criminal charges.

Maybe it is time we wine lovers got involved with this issue so our enjoyment of wine can continue unabated. Of course, that is my opinion; you should develop an opinion of your own with regard to this issue.
