we've hit a whole new level of brainrot. previously unseen. i am not a writer. i do not have the type of original ideas that would be required for fanfics. ...usually?? i've had two now. one even somewhat fleshed out because someone who CAN write also wanted it to exist so we just bounced ideas off of each other. like. i even had a vision of exactly where it should start. who am i what's happening this is weird lol

Quint ghouls quint ghouls quint ghouls !!
I've been meaning to do these designs for a while @wrathofrats and I have been talking about all of the older ghouls for a long ass time we've been thinking so hard on them.
Ghoul thoughts below the cut :)
Ps: pls ask me abt my old ghoul lore I'll die for u
Omega
First quintessence ghoul. Has always been Papa's right hand man.
When not touring, he helped in the infirmary but after retirement took a much more hands on role there.
His magic is more attuned to healing than the others. Is the only one of them able to mend more than surface level injuries.
Warm, and soft voiced. Omega is an inviting and stable presence in the ministry. He is kind and patient, human enough in behavior the ministry allows him to speak publicly, to give interviews and speak to the adoring masses.
Delta
Initially a water ghoul, he was the first elemental transition. His transition was not authorized by the clergy, the timing just happened to be convenient.
Like the water ghouls before him, cursed by an element that refuses to be tamed, Delta was bound to reverting back to his base ghoulish nature. Turn feral, if you will. He sought about saving himself, but in turn damned himself to a new fate.
His vessel is not suited to harbor an element like quintessence, and as time went on, the unstable energy inside of him began to eat away at him. Mentally and physically, he was decaying. It changed him in a way nobody could have predicted.
Delta is cold and distant, more so than he ever was as a water ghoul. There is something deeply, deeply unsettling about him.
His magic is weak and a little unpredictable. Rarely allowed to be used on others, Omega makes sure he does not get too involved in the infirmary and its affairs.
Aether
Delta's replacement, one they found quickly and quietly. Aether just seemingly appeared one day, and with his arrival Delta practically went missing in action.
Terzo's first successful quintessence ghoul, something Aether is a bit prideful of. Also had a hand in summoning the rest of his pack.
Studied quite closely with Omega, but had an insatiable curiosity to explore their element more. A tad reckless with it at first, there were several siblings that seemingly disappeared after last being seen with Aether that the clergy scrubbed from their records.
Was fairly tightly wound when he was summoned but has since become much more approachable given time. His nature is quite loving, a very "others before himself" mentality. Charming, dangerously so. Older siblings tend to warn about the honey he speaks, but nobody believes someone as calming as Aether could ever truly be that bad.
His magic is an internal thing. Attuned closer to the brain than the body, sure he can heal but only surface level injuries for the most part. He's much better at tinkering around in your skull than anything.
Retired of his own volition.
Phantom
Newest quintessence ghoul.
Was the first ghoul Copia summoned without assistance.
Much smaller than the previous ghouls of his element, he compensates with a larg personality that is he's really just starting to settle into. Mostly sweet, a little naive. He's picking up his packs bad habits, mostly Dew's excessive use of the word 'fuck'.
Unlike those before him, Phantom's magic is hardly useful for things like healing. He can fix your headaches, but that's about it. Phantom's quintessence, while somewhat similar to Aether's, is mostly new to the clergy. Shadow magic. It's a little unstable, not like Delta's, more he's just unfamiliar with how to control it. Tends to get a little wispy around the edges because of it.

Giving you my Delta headcanons cause I’m really trying to not think about the storms in the area
-Delta was the first ghoul in Ministry history to transition elements. In fact, the Clergy had no idea it was even a thing until he came to them with the idea. The notion was of course just simple legend in ghoul culture, but Delta’s heart broke watching the scramble for a new quintessence ghoul. Every failed summoning left him feeling worse, so he came to them with a solution. Water is infinitely more easy to summon than quint.
At first the Clergy thought he was screwing with them and was a liiiittle pissed, but after Special appeared from the shadows and confirmed its very much real they went ahead with it.
-The transition was unfortunately botched. Firstly, it was the first time they were trying one. Things take time to learn. Second, because of how unique quintessence is as an element becoming one is exceptionally difficult. A ghoul can only transition elements if they’re brought to the brink, wholly consumed by the desired element. Delta’s heart stopped during the ritual but Omega refused to let his family die. Delta was only in this mess because of him.
-Unfortunately instead of becoming a full fledged quint he became more of a hybrid. I actually base his design off of an electric eel cause of this. He still has all of his water traits, but now he has more of a purple hue to his skin. His eyes changed the most, no longer deep blue like the oceans, but completely black and void like. Raw quint periodically ripples over his body, barely contained in the vessel made for water.
-He talks to himself a lot now. At first everyone thought his mind was gone, eaten by the void, but when Phantom came along everyone discovered those two share a unique gift. They can see spirits and commune with them. Delta can also see auras.
-If you were to ask Delta the what the worst of it all is he’d tell you it’s the fact that he essentially has no control over any element now. He lost his ability to control water and he can’t take quintessence. He hates it because he could never teach his daughters the things he knew.
-Speaking of his daughters! I have a little storyline in my head that Omega, Delta, and Alpha were all summoned together. A gift from Lucifer Himself to show his approval of the Ghost Project. Delta didn’t tour for a while though because buddy fell head over heels in love with a gorgeous quintessence ghoul. They had kits and Delta didn’t end up touring until he was certain his mate would be okay on their own for a little.
-His daughters grew up with his love of human music. They are water/quint hybrids. The older of the two is Cassiopeia (Cas for short), the younger is Marina. They end up becoming the cellist ghoulettes who performed at the LA rituals.
-Delta may not have been able to teach them what he knew about elemental magic, but he was always their number one when it came to music. He taught them everything he knew. Knowing they were able to perform for the Ghost Project just like he did makes him a little weepy.

Mist said she heard dews screams
Who orderd the transition
What was the room like when they did it was it like a operation room or just a bed
Did dew move around a lot during the transition
Sorry about how many questions I'm extremely curious
Omg pls don’t be sorry I desperately want everyone to ask in depth questions about my writing it honestly makes my absolute day like YASSS SOMEONE CARES
Imma go question by question and try and describe what’s up, hopefully in the future I can make a longer fic detailing dews transition as I did deltas
Who ordered the transition?
Terzo in both cases. After hearing the fates of water, lake and river (succumbing to their element to the point of having to be banished), he didn’t want the same fate for delta or dew. Delta was an accident, as he already decided what he wanted before anyone could stop him. Omega was ordered by Terzo to help him, fix what he could but sadly there wasn’t much to be done. This is what largely made mist scared when Terzo ordered dew’s element transition, she witnessed deltas decay.
As for dew Terzo ordered both omega and aether to transition his element, as omega had experience and aether was a trusted ghoul that he knew could do it with hopefully minimal problems. It was out of concern, he didn’t want dew to suffer from his element as he knows others did so he chose to get ahead of it, with consent from him of course.
What was the room like when they did it was it like a operation room or just a bed
It took place in the infirmary, so imagine a hospital room. Not like an operation room as I believe the transition is almost entirely magic based, no physical tools needed. But I imagine the transition happening in a hospital room by omega and aether at his sides.
Did dew move around a lot during the transition
Warning for this question as I’ll be describing dew in pain
He tried, he was held down by quintessence to ensure nothing went wrong. I think it was a painful process, having to force the fire magic in while pulling the water out. I think it’s a process of one of them forcing it into his veins as the other takes the water out. I really don’t think it was easy on him. Especially aether having to remove his gills, pulling tissue over them to get rid of them.
It doesn’t last long though, a day at most. The rest of the time was recovery and to make sure he was ok, and to get ahead of any issues if they were to pop up. I imagine he stayed in the infirmary for about two weeks.
I hope this helps explain things!

I’m not aloud to put this on ao3 so I’m putting it here..
Me absolutely horrendously trying to understand ghost timelines! If I messed anything up I greatly apologize.. anyhow!! Bellow the cut !!
The Era
There’s four Eras currently, Opus Eponymous, Infestissuman, Meliora, Prequelle.
Opus Eponymous- 2010-2013
Infestissuman-2013-2015
Meliora-2015-2018
Prequelle-2018-2020
Impera-2022-2023
- impera was the last Era we had. The more popular one.
The Ghouls
Water ghouls- Bass
Chain- The first Water Ghoul
who got his name because he wore a chain around the waist. He played from 2010 to 2011, the first half of the Opus Eponymus era.
Lake- the Ghoul with the back eyes! Our second Water Ghoul played from 2011 to 2013, during the end of Opus Eponymus and through most of the Infestissumam era.
River- River, the 3rd Water Ghoul played from 2013 to 2014 during the end of the Infestissumam era.
Delta- Delta was the 4th Water Ghoul. He played for a short time during the Meliora era in 2015 before he switched to Rhythm Guitar.
Mist- The first female ghoul!! Other wise known as a ghoulette, she played for 3 months in 2016!
^^ to see videos of those ghouls above is less common most the time it will be Dewdrop and Rain
Dewdrop/Sodo- Dewdrop was the 6th Water Ghoul. He played at the end of the Meliora era, from 2017 to 2018.
Rain- the 7th Water Ghoul and Ghosts Bassist since Prequelle, 2018.
Air ghouls!- Keyboard/Keytar
So the first air ghoul was just called “First Air” I can’t find any other name for him. He was from 2010-2016
Zephyr/chAir- He was the second Air ghoul, playing in the band start of the Meliora and that was the only Era he was there for 2016-2018
Cumulus & Cirius- Our current Air ghoulettes! They joined both in 2018 and are still the air ghouls we have!
Fire Ghouls- Lead Guitar
Alpha- He was the first fire ghoul, he started in 2010 and was the fire ghoul until 2016, he was there for 3 Eras.
Ifrit- The Second Fire Ghoul, Ifrit was in the band for a year and only played for half of the third Era.
Dewdrop/Sodo- Dewdrop went from being the water ghoul to replacing Ifrit. He played in the last era, and is still our current fire ghoul.
Aether/Quintessence- Rhythm Guitar
Omega- The first ghoul, in case you haven’t seen the pattern he also played from 2010-2016, for the most part a lot of the first ghouls stayed in that time frame. Water really was the only one that got so many new ghouls.
Delta- Delta! He swapped from water to quint, he played for a very small time in 2016 before he left the band.
Aether- Aether played from 2016-2023, A lot of the videos you’ll see will be of him or the newest quint ghoul Phantom, Aether left the band due to the fact that he was called to play with another band whom lost a band mate and never came back.
Phantom- he’s our newest quint ghoul, 2023-currently. You’ll see him a lot in videos as well, since he’s the newest and a lot of people got videos on the last tour.
Earth- Drums
Earth- The first Earth ghoul!!! Wowwww! He was in the band again from 2010-2014. Little less than the others but it’s whatever.
Pebble- if you haven’t guess Pebble was the second drummer, Tiny tiny man. Was in the band from 2014-2016
Ivy- only played for around 2 months in 2017 starting in March ending in May
Mountain- MOUNTAIN!!! I love him, anyhow, he’s our current earth ghoul so he’s been in the band since 2017-2023/currently
Non-element/Multi Ghouls
Special Ghoul- This was a ghoul we would see only in the old interviews, this ghoul was played by Tobias Forge. The papa/creator of the band.
Cowbell ghoul- Cowbell was there for the ‘entire’ Meliora Era, leaving right before 2018 when it came to an end.
Sunshine- She joined the band in 2022 and was only there for a short time leaving in 2023 due to having other stuff she was doing.
Swiss- 2018-2023/current. Swiss is a multi ghoul. He does vocals, plays the guitar, and the tambourine. He’s normally seen on his ‘stage of shame’ or you’ll see videos of him interacting with other ghouls.
Aurora- She joined the band in 2023 for the last tour they just had, she does backup vocals and is seen with Swiss a lot.
The person behind each Ghoul
Although the ghouls are supposed to be unknown people have found the identities of them. So if you’re wondering who’s behind all the masks this is the answer.
Chain- Gustaf Lindstörm
Lake- Rikard Ottoson
River- Linton Rubino
Delta- Henrik Palm
Mist- Megan Thomas
Dewdrop/Sodo- Per Eriksson
Rain- Cosmo Sylvan
“First Air”- Mauro Rubino
Zephyr- Zac Baird
Cumulus- Mad Gallica
Cirius- Laura Scarborough
Alpha- Simon Söderberg
Ifrit- Ben Cristo

Aether- Chris Catalyst
Phantom- Randy Moore
Earth- Aksel Holmgren
Pebble- Martin Hjertstedt
Mountain- Hayden Scott
Special ghoul- Tobias Forge

Water Ghoul Identification Guide
i get more into detail as we get further down the line of the seven water ghouls we’ve had so far since there isn’t much info on the older ones. putting this under a cut bc it’s gonna be pretty long
Water #1:
era 1, 2010-2011
he wears a chain as a belt bc he’s an edge lord and we love him for that <3
just a dude, nothing much to say. there aren’t many photos of him unfortunately
in the server i’m in where we love and appreciate water ghouls, we let him keep the original name water
Tumblr media
(source)
Water #2:
era 1 and 2, 2011-2013
he’s a little harder to tell apart from water #3. if his eyes are completely black and/or if he’s wearing a huge ring on his pinky, it’s this guy
but he isn’t always wearing the blackout lenses or ring so checking the date the picture was taken helps
moony ( @melioraz ) named him lake!
Tumblr media
(source)
Water #3
era 2, 2013-2014
he used to be called old water, he’s the one that uh. does that thing. with his bass. you know
moony named him river!
(i’d say i hope the gif works but do i really?)
Tumblr media
(source)
Water #4
era 3, 2015-16
he’s the new water ghoul to river’s old water ghoul
very sweet ghoul
shorter than everyone but small earth, he’s around 5′5. he’s a very sweet ghoul, doesn’t like crowdsurfers, doesn’t look like he’s paying attention sometimes but it’s okay
i named him delta bc delta is the fourth letter in the greek alphabet and he’s the fourth water ghoul, it matches alpha and omega’s names, plus a delta is a water structure so it’s just a good name all around
he played bass from 2015 to summer 2016, covered for alpha in fall 2015 and for omega in early 2016, then he became rhythm guitarist in fall 2016 after omega left (he’s very skilled)
he was also called aether in fall 2016, before we even met era 3/4 aether
since he was officially the bassist and rhythm guitarist, i headcanon that he’s a water/quintessence ghoul
he and alpha first started that headbutting/ending with a kiss thing during the solo in year zero
he’s my favorite ngl, i could go on about him forever!
Tumblr media

Tumblr media

Water #5
era 3, 2016
everyone knows her, she performed in fall 2016 with air, small earth, alpha, and delta
i think this is when people actually started naming the water ghouls, her name is mist
a lot of people confuse her with dewdrop but she’s smaller (5′1-5′2 vs 5′8), doesn’t stomp, her nails are usually painted, she has a tattoo on one finger and a ring on the other, her bass looks huge on her, and also she has boobs
you can also check the date the photo or video was taken, she was only around for 2016, dewdrop first showed up in 2017
Tumblr media
(source)
Water #6
era 3, 2017
everyone also knows him, he stomps, he headbangs, but he’s also very sweet to the other ghouls and likes to cuddle up against them on stage
he’s not as short as everyone acts like he is, he’s around 5′8, or about as tall as papa is (meaning he’s taller than both mist and delta!)
first named dewdrop when he arrived in 2017, he went on to become lead guitarist in era 4. a good amount of people (including me) headcanon him as being a water/fire ghoul. i use ember as a second name to refer to him in era 4
most of the era 3 ghouls wear long sleeves under their cassocks, but dewdrop does so in both era 3 and 4
Tumblr media
(source)
Tumblr media
(source)
Water #7
era 4, 2018-2020 (as of 2020)
he fell on stage a few times so he was named rain pretty early on
it’s not hard to differentiate him from other water ghouls bc of his costume and mask
some people think he’s short for some reason? he’s around 6 feet tall, possibly a little taller than aether
when he isn’t holding his bass, i pick him out from other era 4 ghouls by his mannerisms. he holds his hands in front of himself and tends to stay off to the side. he didn’t start taking off his jacket on stage until about 2019, he has a tattoo on his wrist, and he later starts wearing two rings on his right hand
he lifts one leg like a flamingo sometimes, it’s really cute
he used to be shy but he’s much more confident on stage now, i’m very happy for him!
Tumblr media
(source)
to conclude, my emotions towards all of the water ghouls is: i care they :’^) i really do, and i wish more people did too! they’re all so fun and good in their own ways but delta will always be my favorite
that’s it, if y’all have any questions my ask box is open! also i draw, my tag is #my art, it’s been a lot of delta lately

What do you think Alpha and Omega’s relationship is like?
OOOOOHHHH OK LETS DO THIS
Ok I know you asked abt Alpha and Omega specifically but I’m also including Delta cause in my mind those three are inseparable
So in my mind Alpha, Delta, and Omega were all summoned together. They were gifts from Lucifer Himself to show His approval of the Ghost Project.
Alpha is bold, fierce, and is known for his temper. Omega is the opposite, calm and collected and tender hearted. Delta is like nice middle ground of these two. He’s typically chill and happy to be included but he also has three sets of jaws and he will use them.
(I base Delta’s design off an electric eel since he went from water to quintessence)
Alpha and Omega argue a lot but it’s rare that’s it’s like something serious ya know? It’s more like telling someone you love to go fuck themselves to show your affection. They tease each other and purposefully get on each others nerves because it’s genuinely fun for them. It helps both of them relax to be able to just not be serious for a while.
On the flip side though when one of them is having an off day you better believe the other is right there. Omega tries to help Alpha with his anger, helping he breathe through it and redirect the energy into something else. If he can’t then he at least helps him find a way to get it out that won’t cause any harm to anyone. Sometimes that results in Omega letting Alpha pin him to the bed or vice versa.
When the stress of the being the Clergy’s “prized quintessence ghoul” gets to him Alpha is there offering to kill somebody (mostly joking of course). Alpha never realizes how much him just talking to Omega means. His words are always fiery and passionate and it encourages Omega.
When both of them are having a bad day, snapping and snarling at each other, Delta is there. He does something stupid on purpose to make them laugh and break the tension. He reminds them both that they’re a pack and that they have each other. He’s kinda the glue that holds them all together.
I love my Greek letter trio and you’ll have to pry them from my cold dead hands

what did our ghoulies do for the clergy before they became band ghouls and why were they picked out?
Ooooooh, love this!! Love getting to explore different clergy roles! I love getting to play with the origins of Era IV!
Since I also make a LOT of references to my ideas of leader ghouls, I'm gonna go ahead and link that headcanon here to avoid confusion! --> [Link]
Era IV Jobs Before the Ghost Project
Aether: Aether was summoned when the ministry decided to start training successor ghouls to the current ghoul leaders. Air had finally stepped down as Beta ghoul, and the ministry was afraid others would do the same. Ather was summoned specially to become the next Omega ghoul. While Aether has his own powers of healing that took over as his main duties, he mainly shadowed the head quintessence ghoul. This included a lot of traveling, learning about Earth and human culture, and working with many different types of ghouls. There was also a lot of personal assistance to the Emeritus line, as aether ghoul healing is more effective for demon blood than normal human medicine.
When Omega was on his tours, Aether took care of his business in his stead to test how close he was to being ready. Aether was never originally meant to take part in the Ghost project until a few albums ahead. But with Omega’s sudden departure and being needed back in the Clergy, Aether was once again tested by being a band substitute. Luckily, he was a natural and has been proving himself as the next head ghoul! Handling both responsibilities and the pressure of being the Omega Ghoul.
Cumulus: Cumulus has been around for a few decades and has served enthusiastically. Her first decade was as an assistant to Papa I- her summoner. Namely as his ritual assistant and with his paperwork. She has always had a good eye for detail and organization, with a queenly air of authority about her. But Papa believes in letting his ghouls flourish to their strong suits. Until Copia’s ascension, Cumulus has been the lively and loyal personal ghoul to Sister Imperator. Serving as everything from bodyguard, personal confidant, and even enforcer to the Mother Superior. Cumulus was the very first selected for the job of band ghoul when it was Copia’s turn to head the Ghost project.
Imperator wanted a ghoul who was smart, capable, and with a good grasp of leadership to help supervise the other ghouls. Cumulus was also vouched for by Air. Her and Cirrus were both personally trained by the older ghoul when he was looking for a successor for the Beta ghoul position. While neither were chosen for that particular duty, Cumulus is happy to be a part of the band. She still keeps in touch with Imperator and sometimes acts as though she is Copia’s manager. If something goes wrong or needs to be done, Cumulus is the first to know.
Cirrus: Cirrus has gone back and forth between two duties. Serving the current Imperator and studying under the former Beta ghoul, Air. Cirrus is a tough cookie and has been a ghoulish enforcer for many abbies. Essentially keeping ghouls and siblings in line when it comes to fights or rule breaking. There are always ghouls who make sure the will of the clergy is followed and those who commit crimes are punished. This was her preferred job, rather than work with Air. Who tended to find stuffy, traditional research more important. Cirrus, as calm as she is, prefers hands on work. She’s also worked security detail for all of the Papas but most importantly, Grand Papa Nihil. Cirrus is a long time bodyguard (and baby sitter) for the Grandpapa and Sister Imperator.
Cirrus was recommended by both Cumulus and Air- since they were both practically raised by Air to be potential leader ghouls. Nihil was particularly sad to see Cirrus disappear from his entourage, but agreed she would be a wonderful fit. Also Nihil and Imperator can agreed that Cirrus keeps Copia in line by her sheer intimidating presence and powerful aura. Cirrus would be lying if she said she didn’t also enjoy the chance to do something more fun and get away from the clergy for a bit!
Mountain: Although Mountain was summoned by Papa II, he was never strictly a ghoul for the Emeritus. Personally summoned ghouls tend to be bodyguards or close entourage for their Papal summoners. For a couple of decades Mountain was an effective and reliable body guard for Papa II. But Papa eventually realized his ghoul’s talents were being wasted. Stone ghouls have been shown to have natural strength beyond most ghouls and a good eye for architecture. Mountain has been responsible for helping build new cathedrals, quarters, and even clearing land. His level headedness and bluntness have also been excellent when working with Papa II, who has supervised many of these new buildings.
Mountain being assigned to go with Copia was actually a sort of ‘good faith loan’ from Papa II. Don’t get me wrong, Papa II does NOT like Copia. He finds him opportunistic and a usurping leech… However, Copia IS chosen by Lucifer. Papa II cares about his ministry MORE than he hates Copia. Since he hasn’t had Mountain as a bodyguard for years he decides to recommend him. After all, it also looks good on him for being generous enough to support the newest singer of the band. The Ministry was happy, mainly to let the Cardinal practice working with ghouls of different types and skill sets to delegate. On tour he was accepted and chosen for both his natural talents but to help balance out all of the incredibly strong personalities of the current ghouls.
Rain: Rain was a very behind the scenes ghoul, and rarely worked in the public congregation. He was the archivist assistant to the current head water ghoul, Delta. Delta is one of the oldest serving ghouls who now takes care of the Ministry’s protected collections of records. Rain has happily kept a quiet existence processing old and new registrations for the entire ministry. At one point Rain had studied directly under Delta with Water and Mist- all powerful water ghouls who are being trained for greater works. Rain loved playing music but never considered himself one to be ever picked for anything but reorganizing entire archives and dusting off old books.
Rain was recommended by Mist after her short stint with the Ghost project and Papa III. While she wanted to go on tour, she was needed elsewhere to train. She could vouch for Rain’s hard work and need to open up and embrace his potential. Copia was happy to take the water ghoul, as was shown to have indelible talent and an agreeable personality. The touring has definitely made Rain want to be more active in the ministry and with his fellow ghouls.
Swiss: Swiss was actually pretty high ranked before he became a band ghoul! While not part of the leader ghouls for the entire ministry, Swiss was the top ghoul in one of the main cathedrals outside of the head abbey. This meant he directed, advocated, and watched over all of the ghouls a part of the cathedral. Making sure all duties were done and all ghouls were taken care of. Swiss is a pretty strong ghoul in his own right. While he is fire he was born from two mixed ghouls of different elements. So he is well versed in different elemental energies and knowledge. His easy going nature and quick wit makes him a favorite among siblings and ghouls alike. Higher Clergy also worked with him to make accommodations and holidays for the ghouls.
Swiss was hand picked by Copia who worked with him pre Ghost project. Copia has always valued Swiss’s hard work and ability to get along with everyone he met. Swiss was agreed by Imperator and the ministry to be a great ghoul. Not just in vocals but bringing everyone together and interacting with the fans and staff. Swiss accepted the position with glee. He loves doing ceremonies at his home abbey, and a Ritual is nothing different- just bigger! Plus, Swiss will never turn down a chance to sing.
Ember: Ember has been strong but an entire pain in the ass of the Ministry for a LONG time. There have been many times he was almost sent back to Hell because he was difficult to control. Ember has calmed down in recent years, but he can still be a bit of a thorn in everyone's side. But he has so much potential within the Ministry, he’s too valuable of an asset. At first he was summoned as the potential candidate to be the next Alpha ghoul, for when Alpha eventually steps down. But to help him adjust to the responsibilities he had been shipped to many places with many duties. He’s been everything from a guard, to ritual assistant, to attack dog.
Eventually he found a spot with Papa III right before he went on tour as his bodyguard. Their energies actually worked very well together and he was one of the few before Copia who was able to give him the right outlets he needed. Ember was hand chosen to be a bassist by Papa III when Alpha had to return with Omega to the Ministry. Ember had originally asked to be guitarist, but the Ministry was interested in testing Ifrit to be the next Alpha ghoul. Ember was just happy to play but was absolutely thrilled when Copia asked for him to play head guitar.
