Speechless

You say you’ll be down in five, the smell of your perfume is floating down the stairs, you’re fixing up your hair as you do.

“Faye, your sister just picked up the kids. We have ten minutes until we’re running late.” Freeman checked his watch and patted his pockets, looking around to make sure he had everything he needed for the evening. Wallet, phone, keys. He repeated it in his head like a mantra until he located all three.

Meanwhile, Faye smiled at Freeman’s words as she finished curling her hair. She checked herself out in the mirror when she finished before calling down.

“I’m done. Let me find my shoes.”

I know that I’ll be amazed, the second that I see you. You won’t be surprised, it happens every time, it’s nothing new.

Faye sprayed herself with her favorite perfume before putting her shoes on and starting down the stairs. She could see Freeman waiting for her at the bottom of them, ready to go, looking absolutely delicious in his suit. She could see in his eyes that he was tempted to turn her around and go back upstairs. Who really wanted to go to a wedding, anyway?

He grabbed her and pulled her close when she reached the bottom of the stairs, brushing hair out of her face with the back of his hand and looking down at her with a smirk.

“You. Look. Amazing.” He leaned down for a longer kiss than she anticipated.

It’s always on a night like tonight, I thank God you can read my mind, cause when you look at me with those eyes…..I’m speechless

When they pulled away, both had forgotten that they were about to be late for a wedding. They stared at each other, almost as if it were the first time they had kissed again.But then Freeman smirked and spun her out, earning a giggle.

“I don’t know how I got so lucky to have you as my wife. But damn.”

Staring at you standing there in that dress, what it’s doing to me ain’t a secret. Just watching you is all that I can do. And I’m speechless

They then had to hurry to get in the car, and Freeman only went a little bit above the speed limit. They arrived five minutes before the ceremony started and had just sat down when the officiant began speaking.

They watched the ceremony with smiles on their faces, both of them remembering the magic of their wedding day, the way they felt like they were soaring above the clouds, ridiculously happy. Faye leaned her head against his shoulder, and he placed his hand over hers.

Faye felt his eyes on her as she stepped away from him to say hi to old friends. She turned, watching the smirk form over his lips. She gave him a look, a playful look, before turning back to her friends, still feeling his eyes on her back.

You already know that you’re my weakness. After all this time I’m just as nervous, any time you walk into a room. I’m speechless

Dinner was a typical wedding dinner. The food was fine, the dessert was better. They chatted and laughed, enjoyed the evening. Faye dragged Freeman onto the dance floor when it opened up, and he pretended to resist. But then he pulled her so tightly even air couldn’t get between them, and he leaned down and sang to her quietly in her ear.

It started when you said hello. Just did something to me. And I’ve been in a daze, ever since the day that we met.

They spent the majority of their time on the dance floor, stepping off to grab drinks or sit and catch their breath. They stayed until the DJ played the last song and the lights turned back on.

They talked about how nice of a wedding it was on their way home, but their minds were on one thing only.

As soon as the door closed behind them when they got home, Freeman was pulling her in for another kiss.

You take the breath out of my lungs, I can’t even fight it. And all of the words out of my mouth without even tryin’. And I’m…..speechless

He picked her up and carried her upstairs into their bedroom. He unzipped the back of her dress, helping her kick it off when it pooled at her feet. He laid her down, his hands warm on her skin as he touched her. A shiver ran down her spine, and she reached out to unbutton his shirt.

Next thing she knew, they were both completely undressed, kissing as if they depended on each other for life. He picked her up and moved her to the center of the bed, reaching down to explore her. Another shiver ran through her and she moaned.

I’m speechless. You already know that you’re my weakness. After all this time I’m just as nervous, any time you walk into the room. I’m speechless

He entered her quickly, both of them understanding each other’s needs without words. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders, burying her face into his neck as he moved. He used the opportunity to kiss and gently bite her skin, whispering again in her ear as she moved with him

They picked up speed, sweat forming on their bodies where they touched, edging closer and closer to release. Faye took his head in her hands and brought him to her for another deep, romantic kiss that left them both even more breathless than before.

They came together, both of their eyes fluttering closed before they began to come down. Freeman rolled them onto their side, covering them both with the blanket. Faye cuddled up into him, sighing, completely happy and content, like she had been almost every single second since she officially became his.

I’m speechless

Sweeeet… I was tossing ideas around in my head how to go about rp'ing with Roman with those characters that would bring about an opportunity for both of them etc. Cause there’s crime scene photography with Freeman and obv’s friendship plus he’s friends with Julian (though that’s mostly au but I do discuss a lot of stuff with Misha and have her approve things I write him into in fayemen stuff) and then Braylie’s gonna need headshots and photoshoots done and Bennette

Happy Birthday, Freeman!

For Freeman's Birthday, the Rodriguez's drove to the coast to meet with family and friends. It's their last big trip before Faye gives birth so they wanted it to be memorable. Caleb was there, too, but he was taking pictures and didn't want to be in them!

The family stayed for a couple weeks and headed home to get ready for school and new opportunities!

..July 4th Freeman turned 31 years old! He celebrated with Faye and the kids at their new house in Virginia. Faye surprised him with a brand new truck that his parents drove to the house in - as Faye is 6 months pregnant with their sixth child (yes you read that correctly - the Rodriguez family is adding another family member to their lot) and is practicing social distancing, she had her in laws pick it up a day before they were due to come over. Freeman and his Dad spent the majority of their day outside working on the new planter boxes for a garden and the kids swam in their new pool whilst Faye and Florencia, Freeman’s Mother, baked and cooked all of Freeman’s favorites!

Later that night, when it got dark enough, they built a little fire in their new firepit and let the kids roast s’mores and play with sparklers Freeman’s parents brought with them, they left before it got too dark as they had to drive to Freeman’s eldest brother’s house, before the big fireworks show (the twins slept through the whole thing as did Bishop and Faye’s new corgi, who were in the house with the girls). It was pretty late when they headed inside so Faye agreed to letting the older girls have a little slumber party in the living room (spoiler alert - it didn’t last long - they ended up on the floor in their parents room with their sleeping bags) while Freeman put Caleb to bed in his new room (all to himself).

wait faye is pregnant? what are they having?? how am i just now finding out about this!

Morning Nonnikins,

Lol, yes Faye is pregnant. She’s due next month, mid to late October give or take.. with conflicting schedules between myself and Krissy as well as some changes to the fayemen timeline some story bits were unfortunately skipped/missed and so as not to confuse anyone those were deleted/nixed from being posted. So, there was really only a small number of posts where Faye’s pregnancy was mentioned/brought up.

As for the gender, that was kind of given away a long time ago, lol. However, they’re having another girl! Caleb is okay with being the only boy - he thinks it means that he doesn’t have to ever share any of his stuff or his toys with anyone. And he gets his own room plus special “boys only” trips with Dad!
