Day 315: Gundam Age-FX (Gundam Age)

The last of the little paintings I plan on doing for a bit, this is the Gundam Age FX. I know next to nothing about gundam age. I would have continued not to know anything about it had I not let my youngest brother choose a model kit he wanted to build.

He got curious when I built my last gundam kit, and asked to try building one. He picked this (and I picked a Leo from Wing.) We built it together and he likes it a lot! He broke a couple of the green bits trying to build it, but I think I’ve fixed them.

(As a little bonus, here’s my little Leo doing a funny)

Title: IV Cuteness - Chowder

Chowder now celebrates "Sweet Sixteen", both his show (created by my idol Mr. C.H. Greenblatt) 🍴🧑‍🍳and my artwork in his Cuteness Member - IV leader! 😁🟣🤖

Chowder AGE-FX has a upgraded equip armor from his original.🙂 Replacing his "C-Funnel" system, with the "A-Funnel" system is the newly armament. 😁

AGE-FX Chowder AGE-FX (A-Funnel Equipment Type) Came from the real: AGE-FX Gundam AGE-FX (A-Funnel Equipment Type) [CLICK ME!].

Armaments:

A-Funnel • A remote weapon armed with a single DODS cannon and 2 beam torches, a total of six A-Funnels are mounted on the legs, shoulders, and waist. The beam torches are for cutting through tough objects while the DODs cannon is capable of precise shooting. When the beam torches' limiter is released, an extendable handle is deployed from the back of the A-Funnel and the beam blades merged and lengthened, turning the Funnel into a large handheld beam saber.

• The A-Funnel is also fitted with various types of sensors and a high-precision camera, allowing it to gather a large amount of information. It is equipped with a dedicated AI system and is fully autonomous (although this is not the case initially), however their main control still lies with Cuteness Member. When mounted to the AGE-FX, the A-Funnels can function as gun turrets and all their abilities are also enhanced.

Beam Sabers • One beam saber is stored in each of the AGE-FX's arm shields, they can only be deployed directly from the shields for rapid draw-and-strike purposes.

Stungle Rifle • The beam rifle used by AGE-FX. It has two main modes: Normal Mode, where it functions as a regular high-powered rifle firing pink beam blasts similar to the SigMaxxis Rifle, and Charge Mode, where the side barrel parts are expanded to release a more powerful charged blue blast that can shoot right through obstacles many times larger than itself. The Stungle Rifle has a limited amount of shots, enough to keep a running battle going for some time, but eventually repeated use without resupply will rendering the weapon useless.

Daidal (or Diedal) Bazooka • This mode of the Stungle Rifle adds a large bazooka attachment, allowing AGE-FX to fire a stronger version of the Stungle Rifle Charge Mode's blue blast without any charging.

Special Feature(s):

Psycho-Follow System • The Psycho-Follow System is a new system, which presumably allows the AGE-FX to keep up with its X-Rounder pilot and enables him to control the A-Funnels.

FX Burst Mode • A new mode, which was just recently installed into the Chowder's AGE-FX. In this mode, the accuracy of its attacks is decreased, but its mobility is higher than before, allowing AGE-FX to single-handedly wipe out large groups of Vagan forces. In order to enter this mode, the X-Rounder pilot must activate the protocol to change into FX Burst Mode.

it has the chonkiness of AGE-3 Orbital and the wings of AGE-2 omg (i actually have no idea which part is the AGE-1 and AGE-FX bits but, aight)

the cape is a bit tacky and it doesnt have the transforming aspect of AGE-2 but, still!!!!!

So I have finally played my first Gundam video game and that happened to be SD Gundam Battle Alliance and I am really glad it was because playing this game give me the realization that there are good Gundam video games out there.

This game is really good fun. The combat is fun and fast paced, as it should be. There is a wealth different mobile suits from a lot of the different anime. I am going to list every mobile suit in the game because I can.

RX-78-2 Gundam, Guncannon, Guntank, GM, Zaku II Type F, Dom, Char’s Z’Gok & Char’s Gelgoog.

Gundam Ground Type, Gundam Ez8 & Gouf Custom.

So, yeah, there are a lot of mobile suit to play and collect in this game. Now, personally, I find that can be the one downside to this game as well. See, once you do the main story and the DLC stories, there isn’t much left to do. The only thing you really can do is replay story missions as chaos missions and yeah it’s just going after blueprints to mobile suit you may have some but not all of or just not have yet. Some people may find that fun but I personally have already become bored of it. But that is really the only negative thing I have for this game. I definitely recommend giving this a play.

You know that scene in the first episode of Zeta where Kamille and Quattro just, feel eachother I feel like this is what Gundam Age lacks in its execution, it feels like it can't trust the viewer to understand space magic when it gets a bit too magical

Beside that, I didn't really like the first arc, mainly because of Bacil, I hate that little shithead, otherwise it's just *heh*, Vegan's lack of characterization makes it feel like it doesn't understand Gundam, the ELS had more characterization.

the second arc bored me to death, and honestly I don't know why, maybe it was me, but same complain about Vegan, even once we actually got to know their identity, which is even more of a shame

now for the last 2 arcs, they where actually not bad, Vegan was actually a thing I could care about and Ash really stands out amongs the other characters Kio is OK as a protagonist but Asuno is just a close-minded boomer for the sake of it

Gundam Legilis and Age-Fx annoy me most, like the Age 1, 2 & 3 are machines that took ages to develop and these each get developed in barely a month each

Anyway shout-out to Woolf Enneacle he's the best he has little cat ears

Title: Spot AGE-1 Normal

I have a ton of traditional drawings that relate on Cuteness Mecha in Gundam AGE armors without noting the armaments & features. So, I'm about to give it anyway with my 2012 sketch version of Spot AGE-1 Normal.

• This here is the armored AGE-1 used by Spot Speedster, of which was came from the "Legendary Savior" called "The Gundam" [CLICK ME! #!]. The AGE-1 was crafted masterpiece by the Asuno Family, and they follow up with the AGE-2 (for Gumball) & AGE-3/FX armors (for Chowder). Like future AGE armors, the AGE-1 uses the "AGE Device" [CLICK ME! #2] a memory device that will access the armor. Although, it did not effect their age progression, human/anthro or otherwise. It also has "Wear System" crafted by the "Age Builder" [CLICK ME! #3], which also crafted several arsenals for the armor AGE trio. As for the AGE-1's Wear System, it can switch from Normal to other forms like the "Titus", "Spallow", "Razor", "Glansa", etc...

Spot AGE-1 Normal Came from the: AGE-1 Gundam AGE-1 Normal

Armament(s):

• DODS Rifle The basic long ranged armament of the AGE-1 Normal. The DODS Rifle was created by the AGE system after the Genoace's Beam Spray Gun. The DODS Rifle spins the beam it fires like a powerful drill, generating enough force to destroy enemy mobile suits in a single shot. The DODS rifle has a limited number of shots, enough to keep a running battle going for some time but eventually repeated use without resupply will render the weapon empty. The DODS Rifle can be stored on rear waist armor when not in use. The rifle has two configurations, a one-handed mode where the barrel is rotated so that the secondary grip is pointing downwards, and a two-handed mode where the barrel is rotated so that the secondary grip is horizontally aligned. The latter mode allows for higher precision when shooting. The word DODS is an acronym that means "Drill-Orbital Discharge System".

• Beam Saber/Dagger Stored in the AGE-1's side skirt armor are a pair of beam sabers. The beam sabers can adjust their length for different combat situations and are also strong enough to pierce and destroy enemy mobile suits with ease. One can be used as a reserve weapon, or both can be used simultaneously in a twin sword fashion.

• Shield The AGE-1's defensive armament. It is made much thicker and sturdier than the Genoace's shield.

• Beam Spray Gun A weapon originally used by the Genoace. Despite being a beam weapon, the Beam Spray Gun is not powerful enough to damage the armor of mobile suits. The shots of the Beam Spray Gun are about as powerful as a tank shell.

• Marker Shot A pistol-like weapon with non-lethal ammo used during the mock battle.

• Beam Rolling Lance The Beam Rolling Lance is a pole weapon with a rolling beam cutter on its tip. With it, the AGE-1 can slice down Vagan suits far better than regular beam sabers.

Special Feature(s):

• AGE System The AGE System is the Special OS for the AGE-1 (AGE-2, AGE-3 & AGE-FX) engineered by the lineage of the Asuno family. It researches the evolution of living beings by digitizing the mysteries surrounding it and collects battle data to customize itself, grows alongside the Cuteness Mecha member and is customized and used exclusively by the AGE armor users. The only way for this system to be used and the AGE Armor to mobilize is by using the AGE Device. After the rollout of its successor, AGE-2, AGE-1 was taken to the Earth Federation's headquarters, Big Ring so that it can be modified to not require the AGE System anymore.

• Wear System The arms (including shoulder armor) and legs of the AGE-1 are detachable, which allows alternate sets of limbs or "wears" to be attached. In conjunction with the AGE Builder, this allows the AGE System to dramatically change the overall performance of the unit by analyzing combat data and fabricating new wear parts to adapt to new situations or enemies. Later, the AMEMBO support craft was built to deliver the wear parts to AGE-1 during battle, saving it from having to return to its mothership/base for the exchange of wear parts.
