You know, my brain is still stuck on the idea of Toshi being a stripper. Like he would probably be stiff at first but eventually he'll get into it and be the star of the club👀👀👀

HEHEEHEHHEHE OMG I'VE BEEN DYING TO TALK ABOUT STRIPPER!TOSHI!!! HE'S SO PRECIOUS.

@pan-cakez i don't know if you read it and that's why it's been stuck in your head but i hope you don't mind, but I'm actually going to tie this into my own stripper!toshi work!

It's actually the very first story (very first story, but tbh it's more of a prologue to the entire series) I ever posted on here when I started this blog back in may and i'm planning on it being my magnum opus heheheh

more thoughts under the cut (female reader, stripper club mentions obviously)

I'm gonna give some continuation into Stripper!Wakatoshi heheheheheh. This is sort of canon Wakatoshi?? He played volleyball in highschool and college but never went on to play professionally in this.

So, Wakatoshi... who has been asked by you if he wants to work at your establishment

And he's never really thought about it before.

But he knows he needs an actual job and rent is due soon.

And roommate Mattsun who has his fancy corporate job in marketing doesn't mind helping out and covering Wakatoshi's part of the rent at all, but Wakatoshi still feels bad because the townhome they share is definitely far from cheap.

But Wakatoshi doesn't even know if this is a good decision.

Nevertheless, he still takes your card when you give it to him. You tell him no pressure, he can take his time to think about it, but you'd be happy to have him if he accepts.

Tendou thinks it's a good idea, of course.

He won't shut up about it the whole time on the walk back from the restaurant.

"You'd be so good at it!" Tendou is telling him, "You're all big and strong! Ahhh, you'd have everybody swooning over you!"

"I can't dance though..." Wakatoshi tells him, "I can't dance regularly so I don't think I could even dance like the way I needed to for that."

"Ehhh, I'm sure they'll be lenient with you." Tendou shrugs before patting him on the back, "It's worth a shot though, isn't it? You could make a lot of money!"

"I guess..." Wakatoshi sighs when they reach the entrance to his townhome.

Tendou stands in front of him and puts his hand on his shoulder, a much more serious tone in his voice now, "You can do it, Miracle Boy. You can do anything you set your mind to. I hope you know that."

And Wakatoshi, for the first time in the conversation on this walk home, smiles.

His best friend always has his back no matter what. It's always been that way.

When Wakatoshi enters his home, he isn't expecting Mattsun to be there in the kitchen. It's late, and Mattsun usually has to put in longer hours at the office this time of year, but there he is, making a snack.

"Was wondering where you went off to. You left your gym bag so I figured it wasn't there..." Mattsun laughs.

"Drinks with Tendou." Wakatoshi answers, walking over to the glasses cabinet and pulling out one of their larger ones. If he wants to work out in the morning, he needs to stay hydrated so he isn't hung over in the morning.

"Ah? Did you have fun?"

"Somebody offered me a job."

Mattsun stops slicing the salami for his mini charcuterie board

"Oh?"

Wakatoshi nods and pulls your card out of his back pocket, wordlessly handing it over to Mattsun.

Mattsun knows exactly the place as soon as he reads the card.

"Oh, the girls at the office go to this place all the time! I've gone there for a few of their bachelorette parties," Mattsun's face lights up, "It's really nice too. Did someone try to recruit you?"

"The owner."

Mattsun is speechless.

"The owner, huh?"

Wakatoshi nods again before he takes a sip of his water.

"Weird," Mattsun's forehead creases, "I hear she's kind of elusive. I never saw here when I went there."

"There was some creep hitting on her at the restaurant so I had to step in."

Mattsun smirks, "Look at you being all Prince Charming."

Wakatoshi just continues to sip his water.

"So are you gonna take it?"

Wakatoshi shrugs, "Tendou thinks I should, but I don't know if it's a good idea."

Mattsun sighs. He knows Wakatoshi like the back of his hand after living with him for a few years, so he sees that Wakatoshi is nervous right now instead of indifferent to the entire thing.

"I think... that it wouldn't hurt to stop by there. See the place for yourself. Maybe introduce yourself to some of the other people who work there." Mattsun suggests as he hands him back the card.

Wakatoshi takes the card, examining it again.

There's the name of the club - Loveluxe - in white letters and it stands out from the deep blue-ish purple of the rest of the card on one side, with the address and phone number on the other side.

And your first name and personal phone number scribbled hastily in an empty spot in sparkly gel pen.

Mattsun asks if he wants to stay up and watch a movie he's been holding off on watching with him, but Wakaotshi declines.

Wakatoshi thinks about you as he's getting ready for bed.

He thinks about the way you looked so cute as you told him a little bit about the club you owned - he can't remember anything you said though - he was too distracted by the way your lips moved. The way the lace of your black bra was still playing peek-a-boo under your shirt and it took everything in him to not look down and offend you.

He thinks about the way you had smiled at him when you told him no rush to get back to you.

But he doesn't want to wait.

If Tendou and Mattsun think it's a good idea - he trusts them with his life - then it probably is.

Wakaotshi sits down on his bed and flips the card over and over in his hands again before he picks up the phone and dials your number.

A few rings into it and he's wondering if maybe he's making a mistake

He doesn't have any time to hang up though.

"Hello? Who am I speaking to?"

Your voice. It makes his heart do somersaults.

"This is Wakatoshi." He answers obediently.

"Ohhhh! Hi!" You say, and he can picture your perfect smile in his head as you say it, "What can I do for y--- OHMYGOD, PUT THAT DOWN, YOU TWO. I'M GONNA TAKE IT OUT OF YOUR PAYCHECK IF YOU BREAK ANOTHER LAMP!"

Wakatoshi pulls away the phone from his ear

"Sorry," You apologize, "I'm not usually like this. Some of the men that work for me are... chaotic." You sigh.

"It's fine," He smiles, "Um. I was wondering... if it would be alright if I stopped by? Maybe tomorrow morning?"

"Oh, yeah! We have our weekly meeting tomorrow morning too so you can meet everybody!"

Oh. He wasn't prepared for this type of answer.

"So is this a yes to my offer then?" You ask, and he can still see your smile.

"I think so?" He says hesitantly, "Maybe?"

You laugh and his cock twitches in his sleep pants.

"I'll see you tomorrow morning at 10 o clock then, Wakatoshi Ushijima."

I do! Unless I just genuinely can't think of a reply (i.e, someone makes a request for what they'd like to see happen in an In-Progress fic, and I know it's not gonna happen but don't want to accidentally come across as rude. If there's nothing else for me to reply to, I won't respond to that comment. Sorry!)

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

For IZ, it's Post-Blue for sure. For Silent Hill, despair and die has the worst ending of the two fics I wrote by far. Sorry Henry <3

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Weirdly enough, I think most of my fics have happy endings? I say weird, because I'm not actually a happy ending kinda guy, but I do like to provide some sort of resolution since fic is predominantly something people turn to for entertainment.

That being said, I'd say Suck is probably my most hopeful ending, and that things genuinely stay pretty good for the lads in that AU barring the light kidnapping incident that occurs in the sequel.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I have been wonderfully blessed so far, which means now I've written that and manifested it into the world, someone is gonna leave me an absolute ripper of a hate comment. Worst thing someone ever did was ask for an update on Suck after less than a month, while also calling me stinky.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Nah.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

Oh boy. Yes, I actually do enjoy writing crossovers, even though I never read them. I wanna write an actual IZxSilent Hill crossover sometime soon, but for now Prisonic Fairytale is the closest to achieving that (and desperately needs updating soon, sorry orz)

BUT, my first ever IZ fic was actually technically a crossover. The plot of Love Is A Verb is based on the film Wristcutters A Love Story, though things diverge a lot and the ending is very loosely based on both the film and the original novella that was based on called Kneller's Happy Campers. I only don't have it tagged as a crossover since I diverged so much from the film's plot halfway through the fic, and no characters from the film appear (or do they...?)

If you check that fic out, please mind the tags. There's a lot of very heavy themes in that fic.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

If I have, I have no idea, and tbh I'd probably rather not know.

I have not!

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

If you couldn't guess by now, it's Zim x Dib.

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Oof. Honestly, my Foodcourtia fic Enemy of the Fugue State. Because I started writing that as a total stream of consciousness kinda thing with zero outline, and my brain put on the breaks half-way through a goddamn sentence and I'm not sure how to get to where I wanna go next.

This isn't to say it's abandoned by any means! Just that I might need to go back to the drawing board with that one.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I like to think I'm good at writing dialogue?

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I could be way more descriptive tbh.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

All about it. Alas, I'm monolingual, so that's not something I can experiment with myself. Unless Dib or Zim ever go to France or Germany and need to ask to borrow a pen or something. In that case, I'm all set.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Final Fantasy 7. It was terrible, and no longer exists. Cloud and Vincent got married at the Gold Saucer and that is literally the only details you'll ever get out of me. I was 13 xD

Tho getting super technical, the first 'fic' I ever wrote was a class creative writing assignment in Year 5, where I wrote about Digimon.

20. Favorite fic you've written?

I love all of my fics, else I wouldn't have written them! That being said, my favourite published fic is definitely Love Is A Verb 💚

2021 Year-End Fic Review

tagged by @handwrittenhello and I won't be tagging anyone because I have anxiety <3

how many stories did you complete?

counting my ficletvember stories, 60 individual fics and ficlets. which is way more than I thought but that's what happens when you write a fic a day in November.

what is your total word count for the year?

155k published on ao3. My ficletvember fics ended up being 26k total, plus I have some wips here and there. So ~180k total this year.

what fandoms did you write in this year?

Mostly the Witcher, but I did have a diversion this summer into the Loki fandom and wrote two Sylki fics and a fic for a Thorki event. Also, a sense8 ficlet.

did you write more, less or roughly about what you expected?

I wrote less than I wanted to this year for varying reasons, but I'm happy with what I did write. Last year I wrote about double what I did this year, but I also was still living with my parents and since have bought a house by myself so have much less time and energy to write.

what’s your favourite story of the year?

I feel like I wrote so many different things all over the board this year so I have no idea. I really loved getting deep into Yenralt this year tbh I think this was just the year of writing so many Yenralt ficlets. But my favorite may have been then send down the storm, my Lambert/Aiden remix fic, mostly because I did not know I could love that ship and found my way there through a really personal story very dear to my heart.

what’s your most underappreciated story of the year?

My BTC reverse bang yengilla fic, in dark and twisted braids, which was posted in June and still has less than 300 hits and 80 kudos. A lot of my fics in general flew under the radar this year because I wrote a lot more f/f or rarepairs or both. Meanwhile, my yennskier wip I posted just last week has more hits and kudos than any of my 2021 fics except for a Geraskefer fic from the beginning of the year.

biggest fanfic related disappointment of 2021?

I didn't win a single one of the three different bingos I participated in this year lmao and also I was kinda disappointed in the most recent (non-Witcher) bang I participated in where my artist was non-communicative and then dropped out and holiday craziness meant my pinch hitter and I could barely discuss anything and by the time I published the fic, I barely remembered or cared about it. I knew I didn't like bangs and that was confirmed but I'm going to do another one soon anyway hehe

biggest fanfic related surprise of 2021?

The Yennskier Rennaisance bringing a ton of attention to 2020 fics like the poet's wish and lilacs and dandelions. It warms my little heart to see people finally reading the monster that is the poet's wish because I think I finished it in a fandom lull and the way I posted it in huge chunks of chapters also just led to way less readership at the time. But not anymore!

something you look forward to working on in 2022?

Satan: abandonment is the worst possible thing to her. And after spending weeks or months alone in a cell being told you are literally going to die, that's how she feels. Because Tootsie and Feb are the only two people in the entire universe she loved and felt like they loved her

Sam: Tbf Feb is at fault here, cause she wants to go back to see Em and talk to her after the first time she went, but she doesn't know what to do or say so she keeps putting it off

Satan: well I mean

Satan: Tootsie does it too

Satan: they both basically say the equivalent of fuck you when they never come back

Satan: so she loses them both in short succession and it kills her

Katie/Sam: Feb without meaning to - I'm assuming Tootsie didn't mean to either

Satan: no Tootsie actually did

Sam: Damn

Sam: Feb's just in the sort of place where you've just had a fight with someone, and it's awkward and you don't know what to say so you stay quiet and away while you try to work out what to actually say

Satan: in fact he's about to leave and he's not believing her and Em says if you leave now don't ever come back and tootsie says 'i can't believe I ever thought about marrying you' and she responds 'I'm sorry you ever wasted your time' and they don't talk again until post pardon

Sam: Damn

Sam: I feel like the pardon would be what gives Feb something to talk about because she's suddenly like "wait no you can't kill her, I still need to make up with her and work this out, and then we can be best friends again - you can't kill my best friend"

Satan: that would be the sentencing

Sam: I DON'T UNDERSTAND LAW XD

Satan: the pardon dismisses all charges

Satan: sentencing is guilty/not guilty and the punishment

Sam: then the sentence would snap Feb out of the awkwardness and trying to work out what to say

Sam: She'd be at the cell like the day of the sentence, immediately rambling on about how she can make it better and get them to change the sentence

Satan: honestly

Satan: Em would be so fucking defensive

Satan: and think Feb is only doing it out of guilt

Satan: cause technically it wouldn't be a death sentence if she hadn't killed those people to save her

Sam: Understandable

Sam: She's partly feeling guilty, but mostly scared that Em is going to be killed

Sam: Cause like the whole point of getting shot for Em was so that she wouldn't die

Satan: tbh Up probably tells Feb he's working on a pardon

Sam: Tbh Feb would be mega salty with Up ever since the arrest

Satan: until the sentencing he keeps it sort of quiet because he needed to know how much they were charging her with

Satan: Up won't be expecting Em to plead guilty to all charges without a plea deal

Satan: When he reveals about the pardon he'll probably also be like look this was her idea in the first place

Sam: Feb would just be so angry

Sam: She might even start yelling about the fact that she killed people and a little kid, and going "fucking arrest me too then!"

Satan: wait feb killed people what

Sam: At her wedding

Satan: or is that just the wedding

Satan: yeah that's clear cut self defense

Satan: When Em goes in to rescue Feb she shoots first

Sam: Not the little girl tho - she got caught in the crossfire

Sam: She'd at least have manslaughter

Satan: that's manslaughter and could be pled out easy

Sam: Feb wouldn't care tbh she'd keep going on about it and demanding that they give her the same sentence as Em if they're going stick with it

Satan: She can try but it won't work

Sam: She'll try

Sam: If she has the ability to, she might even trash her lab

Satan: Because she didn't make a massive bloody mess in front of the commander, and purposefully take point so that no one else on the team fired first making her the only killer on the mission on the murder front. The rest would be instructed to only shoot at people with raised weapons because self defense

Satan: plus multiple huge outstanding warrants

Sam: Tbh this whole thing would actually destroy Kray

Sam: Cause he was there, and he really feels like the crew is his family

Sam: And suddenly Em is in prison and has a death sentence

Sam: And he couldn't help or stop it

Satan: hence why Em allows Up to be the only one to know that part of the plan

Sam: Yup

Satan: lest someone else do something to try to stop it but Em knew going in someone was going to have to go down

Satan: and she wouldn't let Narcis live because she would walk out in hours

Sam: Yeah

Satan: the good part is

Satan: with death sentences

Satan: years to follow through

Sam: Feb would be doing everything she could to make things right

Satan: How upset is Feb going to be that Em is applying for transfer as soon as she's granted her pardon

Sam: She'd be crushed

Satan: Em is just so emotionally fucked up

Satan: plus you have to remember she's all alone in that cell until sentencing

Sam: Yeah

Satan: Up visits when he can but aside from Feb and Tootsie essentially saying fuck you

Satan: the only company she has is Junior one cell over.

Sam: I'm thinking, if we do seriously injure Feb, she'd also be very numb from not being able to work and stuff so that would contribute to the not visiting

Satan: I totally get it

Satan: Em won't, but I do

Sam: Like no one's completely in the right here and it's all so beautiful fucked

Sam: The worst part is that Feb still tries and still wants to work it out

Satan: Em will take a lot of time to be even remotelyokay with things

Sam: Okay but Feb, after years of trying to find out where Em was transferred, just giving up and becoming the complete opposite of the bubbly woman everyone once knew

Satan: I don't know if Em is gonna get the transfer or not yet

Sam: If she does, Feb is gonna eventually turn cynical and rude and mean

Satan: she's applying for it, but she's also just been granted a huge pardon and may have to serve under Up for a while

Satan: Em is gonna be much closer to modern Em after this though

Satan: she's gonna be a lot colder and filled with a lot more spite and a larger tendency to hold people at a far distance

Sam: Feb is going to be a lot less kind and trusting tbh

Satan: I honestly

Satan: don't know how they're gonna fix it

Satan: but I hope they do

Sam: I don't know if they can

Sam: Same, I hope they do

Sam: Could you imagine them bumping into each other after the years and Feb just straight up telling Em to go fuck herself before getting as far away as possible

Sam: Like I reckon Feb would also quit the Rangers when she couldn't find Em again (especially if we fuck with her ability to walk/work)

Satan: tbh as soon as her contract was up Em would leave the rangers, (legally) change her name, and do freelance work

Sam: Cause her entire reason for going for the Rangers was because Em said she'd be great at it and to go for it - and it'd depress her to be there

Sam: Feb would end up as a chemist or something

Satan: tbh Em probably has a journal that's just

Satan: everything since she ran away

Satan: and she probably gave it to Up right before the rescue mission and was like read it if you have to but after that burn it

Satan: he probably gives it to Feb instead

Sam: Oh no

Satan: it would fill in the gaps of what Em didn't tell Feb

Sam: Feb would keep it forever

Satan: specifics of her parents abuse, the worst of the years between home and the rangers, even when she boarded the starship and how hard it was not to tell her right then and there who she was
