I WANT TO ASK ABOUT THEM ALL HOW DARE YOU
But please please please tell me more about these ones first:
Bitter Teeth - (RomeSpa, NedPort, EngSpa)
RomeSpa - Sicilia - (blame cake)
The Five Kingdoms - (Frain, EngPort, and more, but that's not really the focus for once!)
No es como parece - (Toni study)
ohohohoho, with pleasure! <3
Bitter Teeth
cake, do you remember that one romepsa vampire fic i wrote for hetaween last year? meet its child! this fic is currently set to be multi-chap fic, in which we get to the see the aftermarh of what happened in Rome and the highly unconventional relationship that develops between a vampire and a vampire hunter. meanwhile, we obviously can't ignore Henri, who's been abandoned in Amsterdam, brother missing with no hint to where he is! time's ticking, Hen! (and then of course, with Toni's disappearance, the Guild have sent another hunter to 'replace' him - Arthur. can't imagine how Hen might take that!)
RomeSpa - Sicilia
this one i really hope you remember haha, this is from one of your horror prompts you sent me so you may be familiar with the base plot. but. essentially, a beat-down Antonio needs money and needs to escape from his life after some misfortune. he comes across an advert online for a job as a housekeeper for a lone older gent in Sicily, who needs someone to support him through autumn and winter (with a view to extend the contract if required). feeling like he has nothing to lose, Antonio gets in touch, and soon finds himself and two big suitcases at the front door of a rural home on the island. the door opens. this will be a fun six months!
The Five Kingdoms
@rosesandalfazemas also wanted some info on this one haha. and this is a long one! but welcome to my attempt at a kingdoms/magic/adventure au, in which a prophecy threatens the Five Kingdoms (conveniently titled) and restore an evil their ancestors vanquished, etc etc. with a little inspo from Cardverse, each kingdom has five members to a royal household, and each kingdom has a certain elemental magic they use that is also tied to their Mage. Antonio is the Mage of Aerborea (it wimdy) who, amongst his other gifts, has the odd prophetic vision... but that's fine! in other news, royal EngPort give me life, so meet your rightful King and Queen of Rivedore! :D (you'll never guess their element) but yeah, we get some Frain and EngPort and their bonds will get put to the test. Port and Toni's, too. but there are a lot of other characters in here that i'm intending to juggle, which i'm looking forward to. i've got most chapters planned out so i know the route the story takes, i just... need a million hours to be able to write it all!
(p.s. if you ever see me reblogging random things as #aerborea, #rivedore etc well... this is why!)
OH WAIT I HAVE A MAP!
:)
No es como parece
i believe @kaimaciel also wanted a bit more on this one, so here you go! it's not too fleshed out, it's just that every few months my ideas change haha. but basically this is a series of scenes between Toni and other characters, and how he interacts with them. his optimism, his smile, his constant happiness - and how he is able to act that way when he is, in fact, lying to their faces about how he's feeling. it's about how justifies lying, how he deals with the guilt, how he handles probing questions, and how he has built this cocoon for himself to 'protect' him from anything negative in his life. because that sounds really healthy! good toni!

Solo Leveling Episode 8 Thoughts
And we're back!!! Spoilery thoughts for the anime, novel, and manhwa below:
The system gave Jinwoo a lottery ticket alkdjlaj
He gets emails!!! I am ridiculously happy he gets and checks emails alkdjaldja Or at least text messages/blasts. Me last time: why doesn't he use his email. Now: FINE HE GETS EMAILS.
aldkjalj I'm happy.
It's neat we get to actually see Yoojin approaching Cha Haein. It's nice to see more of the guild corporate warfare.
We get to see Kim Sangshik's family! And his kids get names and ages! Can't imagine why they would give us that :D >.< It feels kind of like the progression of Fullmetal Alchemist in adaptation, where each one made a particular event all the more gut-wrenching.
Baek Yoonho and Choi Jongin's added flirting is everything. I love this addition. Choi Jongin just wants to go on a date with you, Baek Yoonho. Goodness, chill.
Thank you, A-1, for everything, but this shot in particular.
Choi Jongin is amazing this episode. I'm so glad they added these. The emphasis on his relationship with Baek Yoonho is lovely. I was happy the novel has more of them interacting and sad the manhwa kind of removed it. More is appreciated, thank you :3
Lee Joohee's mom sucks. No wonder she doesn't call much, jeez. I feel so bad for her. She's so sidelined in the novel and even though she gets a little more in the manhwa, she was still heavily sidelined for no particular reason (I guess maybe she's really pushy to Sung Jinwoo for no particular reason and he deserves better? Which yeah, okay, I can see why things turn out the way they do). I'm really glad she at least gets more development in the anime.
I like the show focusing more on the relationship between Cha Haein and Choi Jongin. They have a professional relationship. It's just kind of not there in the novel and not even really in the manhwa, either, though it's slightly more emphasized? Ever so slightly. Here they're really reminding us, "yes, they work together, they get along, they communicate, it's not just Choi Jongin being smug", which I appreciate. Cha Haein's extra development in the anime is generally really appreciated.
Choi Jongin has trauma from Jeju T-T Bebe. I love that they added this. So far as I can recall, it's not mentioned in the novel that he went to Jeju in the past at all; that seems to have been added for the anime, and I don't mind the change here. It's fun development. Give me that angst :3
It looks like either Eunseuk sacrificed himself for Min Byunggu and Baek Yoonho to get away or he died for some reason and they had to leave him behind...? T-T Traumatized beans T-T It's really neat how many kind of quiet/unexplained plotlines they're developing here. Really fleshes out the characters very well.
Song Chiyul and Sung Jinwoo's relationship gives me life every time. It's so sweet.
That last hunter who is not Kang Taesik gets named at last! Mr. Kang! Wonder if he'll get a first name.
And yeah, as expected, Sung Jinwoo says yes to Yoo Jinho's request so he can get stronger and get the elixir to help his mom. It makes sense. It's not a bad change for him to say no and then come back to the weirdly empty cafe to say yes now.
That was a good ep :D So glad the show is back!! Also sending well wishes to Taito Ban, the Japanese voice actor for Sung Jinwoo. He had COVID at least as of 13 February 2024, but he was back to work on 19 February 2024, and I don't really think that's enough time to recover... Hope he's doing better. (Also this likely wouldn't have affected Solo Leveling season 1 at all, likely all his work was long since done).
Looking forward to the next ep!

Hello again darling! I'm here to ask what it is you love most about the budding relationship between Stella and Reilly. What about their dynamic has been the most fun for you to write? What makes their relationship so special to you? And lastly, what are you looking forward to exploring?
I could gush about Stella and Reilly's dynamic for days.
I have many favourite parts to their relationship, some of which I haven't even written yet.
Taking your questions purposefully in order though my favourite part about the budding relationship between Stella and Reilly is, I think, their complete obliviousness to what's happening, especially in book one.
Reilly manages to figure out whats occurring by the end of book one, but Stella's still in the dark. By book two she's starting to suspect there's more going on but when I say this series is a slow burn, I really, really mean it.
The best part to write, however, has been those interactions where it shows their slowly growing feelings, even though the characters are in the dark.
There is a consistent theme, especially in book one, of Reilly and Stella taking care of each other on various scales.
I think what makes their relationship so special to me is that it's so complex, but at the very foundations it's built on respect for each other. Respect seems to be a very rare comodity when I look around at people these days, so I wanted to emulate a relationship that's built on respect and trust.
I know, for example, when I was looking at my plot outline for the series, I considered having them split up at one point because of a misunderstanding, or because one of them pushed the other away to "keep them safe" but I never wanted that to be the lessons in Stolen.
Stella and Reilly support each other, they make each other stronger, because they respect each other enough to know that they can each handle themselves, but they also trust each other enough to know that while they can handle themselves, when they're together they don't need to.
That little splash of vulnerability, that's exclusively shared with each other, warms my heart every time. It's also one of the things I'm looking forward to exploring as their relationship develops.
Stella, especially, has never had anyone support her the way I intend for Reilly to do so, and Reilly has always been the protector. Having someone protect him for once is probably going to be a steep learning curve for the guild master.
