#Doodles #AvA #Decided that since all of AvM Season 3 is out and compiled that would be a good thing to watch - and also all of Part V to start on Part VI #Because eating a whole bunch of A Thing at once is totally not a recipe for Things To Happen in my brain lol #Nah I'm happy about it ♪ I keep Meaning to do other things and then- :P Such is the way #Anyway it's been too long since I've drawn them <3 And I realized I have everyone's colours in pencil now! Not just ink! #Makes for some chunky lads at times - Red probably got the worst of it overall lol - but it's decently fun :D #My drawing teeny-tiny was amped up since y'know. They're stick figures - but did not take into account that my pencils are a little wide #Did not change after discovering this either lol you cannot remove me from my love of doodling tiny #Love 'em ♥ #I still hold my fondness for The Dark Lord/The Chosen One! Yes I've seen all of Part V I just mentioned that! Lol #They are husbands I'm not in denial you're in denial #And then The King and Purple just kinda completely took over my attention lol ♪ I love them <3 #Flawed lads both of them! Puzzle pieces shaped like each other's broken hearts #Nothing kills me faster than adopted kids crossing the touch barrier with their adopted parent and being open and safe with each other I die #I'm quite happy with Purple's hug there ah <3 For that reason but also the way his arms are wrapped around his dad haha #It's cute! :D I'm pleased ♫ #I can imagine a lot of these in the animated style and honestly it's got me a little itching to give it a go #There's a reason stick figure animation is so popular! Beginner-friendly haha

Hey!!!! Found you through your work on Reddit, was delighted to see you have an account here too!!

I've been wanting to say this for a little while, but this isn't the kind of thing I'd be willing to put in a Reddit post.

I love your work and your style so much. So so much. Lately I've been allowing myself to explore my interest in heavy gore in a more neutral and healthy way, and your art has helped me to do that. Your work is very often beautiful, grotesque, and cute all at once. And not in that grand, self-contratulatory "Look at me, drawing something cute but it's all fucked up and gory!!!! Aren't I sick and twisted????" but in a quiet, earnest way, if that makes sense.

There's something very grounded about your art that's pretty rare to see in other gore artists. You don't aim for the super composed, super artsy vibe, where everything is perfectly placed, framing the viscera as divine and perfect and all that. As much as I do love that kind of art, I find it can be kind of... distancing I guess? Likewise, I get the sense you don't aim to be As Shocking And Twisted As Possible, nor overly "sexy". Rather, it's just... humans and human bodies. Ordinary and messy and beautiful, and that makes it all feel so much more real. There's something about that drawing of Valya, bloody and alive and lying in the snow, that has just... really stuck with me.

Speaking of which, I love Valya and his Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Consensual Adventures. There's something very charming and endearing about his mannerisms and personality. I love his comfy clothes and fluffy hair, I love how open he is about his masochism, I love that he's covered in scars (again, not something you see in most gore art). Like your art, Valya is chill, earnest, cute, and more than a little fucked up. I sort of get the sense he's a person who has found his own version of inner peace, despite everything that it entails for him. I'd love to learn more about him, If you have any facts about him you'd be willing to share.

Anyways, sorry for the rant, and sorry if this was kind of a lot to hear from a stranger. I'm not an art critic or anything, I don't know if anything I just said makes any sense. But your art really does mean a lot to me, and I wanted you to know that.

wow, omg, thank you for taking time to write such a wonderful and long message!! i am really happy that you get all those kinds of feelings from my art, and i am super grateful to you for sharing it. i myself like all kinds of guro, be it intentionally shocking, or candy, or divine-looking, but i am happy that for you i occupy this niche that you enjoy! a theory on why my art is not overly sexual is maybe because i am an asexual myself :D i am so glad you like valya!! i love him too ♫꒰･◡･๑꒱ a fact about him.. hmm... he really hates it when someone does anything bad to cats or dogs, but for once in his life he is smart enough to never tell it to anyone bc he knows there are people who would do it on purpose to make him feel worse. so it's one of the mental torture kinds that he does not enjoy

So y’know how how every Sim made as an adult starts out with the generic “Mystery Sim” as their teenage love?

(Which I mean. Is fine. Personally I’d prefer nothing but it’s not bad as such lol)

Well I finally dug around in the SimPE memory tab to see what I could mess with without - hopefully - breaking anything this time, and well :3

And as further proof that that wasn’t just him getting rejected after I put them on the lot (though “Very First Kiss” is only a teen option and I made them both as adults) -

I modified his very first memory to be meeting Dex!

I also gave him this very rare memory of being attracted to Dex for funsies hehe ♥

#WPTS2 #WPVG #The Sims #The Sims 2 #I love SimPE <3 #Apparently that ''Attracted to'' memory can be flagged in the game but it's really hard to come by! #From the very cursory glance I took around it seems like it's initiated by seeing a Sim - not necessarily meeting them - with 2+ attraction #So at least two lightning bolts - and Sims tend only to notice other Sims when they use ''Scope Room'' #The chances of seeing another Sim with enough for 2+ bolts is pretty low admittedly haha - it's cute tho! I like it :D #And I especially like the idea of Max meeting Dex and being like ''Oh. OH'' lol #Oh I just realized the ''Be Rejected'' memory is green oops - I'll have to go back in and see what setting I missed lol #I'm just pleased I was able to mess with them at all! :D Definitely planning to do this with the Vargases and the ''official'' Helix boys ♪ #I've moved Max in! I found a custom house in my lots that had basically the exact driveway that I had envisioned so I had to use it ♥ #The house itself could probably use some work - honestly I'd like to sit down and make a floorplan of how I see the Helix house sometime #But the point is!!
