"Company 3 Senior Colorist Jill Bogdanowicz recently completed work grading "John Wick: Chapter 4." She has handled grading duties on the "John Wick" series since "Chapter 2," which also happened to be when Dan Laustsen joined as cinematographer. The two have collaborated with director Chad Stahelski on the stylized Keanu Reeves-starring series since. All "John Wick" films have impressed audiences with their strong, expressive looks, but Bogdanowicz says of "Chapter 4":

“We pushed it even further. We went bolder, with deeper blacks and really strong color separation.""

Segundo filme da Mostra "Amor ao Cinema" no CineSesc que consegui ir assistir. Quem primeiro me falou desse documentário sobre a transição do cinema 35mm pro digital foi o João. Cheguei a baixar o filme, mas ficou na pasta esquecido. Achou sendo melhor, já que tenho a chance de ver na tela grande.

depois de ver: o doc é de 2012, algumas mudanças mais já chegaram, contudo muito do que é falado continua atual. no digital abrimos mão de muitas coisas pra ganhar outras. eu ainda prefiro o 35mm, mas estou do lado dos perdedores sem dúvida.

(Hopefully by this point you’ve finished all 99 minutes of ‘Side by Side’, the kind of person who isn’t bothered by spoilers, or are just deciding if you still want to keep watching.)

When it was mentioned that the first generation RED camera crashed regularly....I am amazed that any of the digital cameras I’ve used hasn’t done done this in my hands.

PS: So the guy who owns Oakley...started RED?

HIGHLIGHTS:

David Fincher getting the RED One from 23 (9 for the body + 14 For the lens) to 5 pounds so he could use it on a crew boat.

MacBook Pros as the 'brains' for the lenses used for 'Slumdog Millionaire'.

The explanation on how they did 3D for Avatar.

Footage from Ghost Protocol and a note that it was shot on film.

Film is the best way to store moving images for 70 years (because hard drives stick if they are rarely used and wear out if they are regularly used)
