The Nanami’s have always been welcoming, and not just to Fuyuhiko. Plenty of their wide, extended group of weirdo friends have been inside that house, at one time or another, for a birthday or an anniversary or just for dinner. It’s never really been a problem, as far as he’s aware, because Hajime absolutely loves cooking for groups, and he so rarely gets to. And Fuyuhiko’s glad they have so many people in their lives to turn to in a crisis.

So the fact that the two lovers have invited him over this evening isn’t strange in the slightest. He’s done this before, being one of the oldest and longest friends they have. It’s perfectly ordinary.

Except it isn’t. Because Hajime’s last message in their exclusive group chat contained the sentence, ‘I can’t wait to see you tonight.’ Because Chiaki reacted to Fuyuhiko’s estimation of his arrival time with several heart emotes.

Because Fuyuhiko knows what Hajime’s lips feel like, now, and he knows he’ll get to taste them again.
