seriously encountering quincy is the thing that made me angriest abt the writing in fo4 more than any other dumb bullshit plotholes boring shitty stuff etc in the main story because it's like. ITS SO OBVIOUS. The first human companion you meet in the game has this long fraught backstory specifically dealing with this location and the betrayal from a guy who is STILL ALIVE, AT THAT LOCATION and that betrayal not only killed most of his friends but like led him to the depressive state you find him in where later he'll tell you he was just waiting to get killed and only really staying alive out of responsibility to the people left around him and all this like serious shit and there is just nothing no companion quest about Quincy no exchange with Clint when you fight him you just blast him in the head and your prize is a unique gun and like a few terminal entries and the only input he has on any of this is that he likes when you kill Clint. and that's it. like COME THE FUUCKK ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
