I’m so fed up of queer representation rn. where are my casually queer characters? my girl and her friend go to the bathroom together so she can take her hormones and the others can pee and they’re talking about how shitty the writers of some tv show are? my girl casually introduces her fiancée and no ones surprised or even reacts to the fact her fiancees a girl? or my pre-t/early on t trans dude sulking at home cos his periods come and he chills out on the sofa in his binder and boxers grumpily eating chocolate icecream out of the tub while watching terrible telle?

wheres my historical queers? my medieval lesbians live together and raise their adopted son and every one in the village knows and doesnt even bat an eye that they’re together but a stranger and their kid move to town to they have to be less explicitly gay and fail miserably and the whole village are constantly making innuendoes and implying they’re together but the stranger doesn’t catch on and the jokes on them for not getting it. My victorian trans gal getting tips from her hooker friends about how to exentuate her figure to make her look more feminine and her and one of the girls start getting closer and they meet this shy tailer who helps make the trans girl fancy clothes and the hooker leaves her hooker job to work with them in the shop and it turns out the tailors trans too and idunno maybe the trans girl gets the hooker pregnant so the tailor and her get married and pretend that the chidls his and they have to face the fact they actually really like each other (romantically) as well as the trans girl and they all live happily poly everafter with their awesome kiddo?

or my fantasy queers? my poly mermaids and my merman falls in love with a male human and the human becomes a merman and they explore the ocean together?

or heck if we are gonna have more coming out/coming to terms with stories how about one where the kid realises she’s a girl and secretly goes out as herself and meets some big queer buddies who help her through working it out and dealing with it/ accepting it and help her get the confidence to come out to her family. and sure when she does they reject her so she packs her things and leaves on her terms, not theirs, and says to tehm “in the effort to keep your son you lost your daughter. but also fuck you, i’m amazing and you’re missing out.” and then she gets on the conveniently timed bus outside and gets on to some local town to her mates and his mums (multiple mums btw) house and get’s there late at night but they let her in and she cries and tells them what happened and they comfort her and lets her stay. she eventually goes out to meet her queer mentors and tells them whatr happened and no one says she shouldn’t have left and to give her family another chance because they’re family, but instead say “that sucks, but you made an incredibly brave choice and i’m proud of you. and hey, if you ever need a place to crash my sofa’s always open.” and she’s fine and does well on her exams and goes onto study chemistry or someshit.

how about my autistic beefy gay jock who’s isn’t the smartest but he really tries and is happy and hard working (his special interests are [insert sport hear] and bees btw), he has his rainbow pin on all the time and if anyone tries and queerphobic shit he’s bigger and stronger than them so dont. His best friend is teh head cheerleader who’s a massive eco freak and they work on environmental projects together and she’s headover heals with this music boy and just fails to talk to him. eventually she gets frustrated with herself and slams her hands down on his desk and yells “date me!... please” and he’s like, “... actually i’m aromantic, sorry...” and she’s like. “fair enough, no apologies nessicary. perhaps attempt friends?” and he’s like okay and she swiftly leaves the room to melt about how embarrassing that was and gay jock comforts her. Gay jock’s love interest is like this cpt of the enemy team or something and it ends with them making out in the middle of the field after there match and cheerleader leader like yesss get it mmy boy. it’s happy fun cheesy and queer.

my “everything’s gonna be okay” queers? shit happens but it’s okay in the end and they’re happy queers? please?

i’m tired now but you get my point.
