Disney Unveils Disney+ Day Animation Highlights And Event Details

Mark your calendar! On Friday, November 12, The Walt Disney Company will host Disney+ Day, a global celebration that will come to life across all dimensions of the Company. Subscribers to Disney+ will be treated to new content releases across the service’s iconic brands, Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and Star in international markets,

That’s not all! In honor of the second anniversary of Disney+, subscribers will have access to promotions and experiences across the Company. Disney Parks and Resorts around the world and Disney Cruise Line will roll out the blue carpet for Disney+ fans with some surprise and delight moments including photo opportunities, character moments, and more; shopDisney.com will have special offers; popular network shows and syndicated series will join in the celebration along with talent and series across ABC, Disney Channel, ESPN and ESPN+, Freeform, FX, Hulu, National Geographic in the U.S., and on owned channels abroad.

“The inaugural Disney+ Day will be a grand-scale celebration of our subscribers across the entire company,” said Bob Chapek, Chief Executive Officer, The Walt Disney Company. “This day of appreciation brings to life our mission to entertain, inform, and inspire fans and families around the globe through the power of unparalleled storytelling, and will become an annual tentpole event to be amplified across our global businesses.”

The day will be followed along with a special presentation on Disney+ for fans with sneak peeks into what’s to come. Additionally, the service will continue to engage new audiences around the world, as Disney+ expands into new Asia-Pacific markets on November 12.

An animated short film Ciao Alberto from Pixar, featuring characters from this summer’s animated hit breakout film Luca

A new short from The Simpsons that pays tribute to Disney+’s marquee brands

We have some exclusive heils from Disney Branded Television right now and it seems that Disney TVA is working on a new Disney Channel Original Movie after 5 years of not making a new one.

This will be the first animated DCOM in 5 years since Tangled Before Ever After

Uknow if the film will be another original movie, School For Sensitivty Souls or a film based on a Disney Channel animated series probably it’s the latter.

Disney Branded Television Promotes Disney Television Animation Music Executives Jay Stutler & Mark Karafilis To Disney Branded Television Music VPs on Animation.

Two music executives at Disney Branded Television - Mark Karafilis and Jay Stutler- have each been promoted in their respective areas of music expertise by Ayo Davis, president, Disney Branded Television.

Mark Karafilis moves up from executive director to vice president, Music Production, Television Animation, Disney Branded Television. He oversees all aspects of music production and also works on musical direction for TV Animation's slate of series for Disney+, Disney Channel and Disney Junior, and he manages the delivery of Disney Television Animation's musical assets for video releases, consumer products and Walt Disney Records soundtracks. He reports to Jay Stutler, senior vice president, Music, Television Animation, Disney Branded Television.

Jay Stutler moves up from vice president to senior vice president, Music, Television Animation, Disney Branded Television. A Disney executive since 2000, he continues to lead the original music creative direction for all animated series, movies and specials produced by and through Disney Television Animation (TVA) for Disney Channel and Disney Junior, including "Phineas and Ferb," "DuckTales," the Peabody Award-winning "Doc McStuffins," and the Emmy Award-winning "Elena of Avalor," "Sofia the First" and "Mickey Mouse" cartoon shorts. He reports to Meredith Roberts, senior vice president and general manager, Television Animation, Disney Branded Television.

Both will oversee future music work of upcoming musical series: Rise Up Sing Out, Kiff, Hamster And Gretel, Hailey’s On It, Alice’s Wonderland Bakery, Eureka!,Pupstruction, Firebuds and Primos as well upcoming unnanounced Disney Channel and Disney Junior upcoming musical animated series along with the upcoming Disney Television Animation Original Musical Film: School For Sensitivy Souls

Collectively, Vincent, Stutler and Karafilis have supervised the creative direction of tens of thousands of original songs for kids and family programming, including some of the most iconic songs for generations of kids. They continue to play central roles in creating unique and compelling music for Disney branded animated and live-action series and movies and making Disney Channels a primary force in music for kids and families.
