now the next megumi thing im waiting for (once whatever this is is wrapped up) is him snapping. Just going full on beast mode. like he did on tje bridge but 1000x. Voldemort knew indeed how proud Bella was of their legacy - of Delphini, and now of their grandchildren, both with the Mark. Bella had taught each of them to duel when they were young, just as she had done with Delphi, and as she would likely do with their children. Her great grandchildren. What a marvel, to be able to live as long as this, to see each generation firsthand.

He had expected her hesitance at his continued words, the initial confusion as she put the pieces together. This was never something that had even been alluded to being on the table, and now, here it was musing upon it out loud -

In truth, he had already been designing the ring in sketches over the past several weeks - and it was this that had made him realize it should be mentioned, that it was not a wild idea that should be discarded. He had begun to think about the arrangement seriously - and perhaps, that meant it should be made so.

She all but choked out, flinging herself towards him in a tight, needing embrace. "I accept, I accept! Yes, my Lord!" She was clinging to the fabric of his robes now and kissing him wherever she could. In her utter shock, she pulled back, clasping a hand over her mouth in bewilderment. "You want to give me a ring?!" Of course that only made sense. But every gesture, every small act of thoughtfulness counted when it came to the Dark Lord. This was.. almost too much to handle. @asktheheirofslytherin
