#ghhhhh I loved them sm #I loved the movie too #when I was 9 I watched the first one over and over again- like at least twice a day #but the books will always have a special place in my heart #they were the reason why I started reading fantasy #this blog wouldn't exist if it wasn't for them #they are COMPLETELY different from the movies tho #srs if they changed three of the characters' names they wouldn't even have to pay Cressida Cowell (the writer) #wait no it's four characters #Hiccup Toothless Snotlout and Fishlegs were from the books everyone else was made up #(except for Hiccup's dad maybe?) #and still.
