*Now that they are in the smeltery, Tsumugi sees two enormous automated lava vats at work above her as sweat stream down her face. She grabs them and tosses them in Shuichi's direction using her Nanokumas.

Hrgh! Hoo! Hahahaha! Yah! HEEE!?

Ngh! Huh?

*Shuichi utilizes the Symmetra Matrix to heighten his leap, landing on the first vat and dancing quickly on the hot metal before leaping off it and flying past Tsumugi. He barely makes it past the next vat's spilled contents before spotting Tsumugi's arms and tendrils gripping the platforms above him.

HAAAH!

*CRAASH!*

???: M̸A̸K̶E̸ ̸A̶ ̷T̵R̶A̷M̷P̸O̸L̴I̷N̴E̶!̶

HRRGH!

*SHA-WOOOH!* *SMASH!* *CRASH!*

*Tsumugi's Nanomachines pull on the platforms and cause them to crash down on Shuichi, but he utilizes the Symmetra to create bouncy surfaces, as the voice in his ear commands him to do. Tsumugi avoids the damage by boosting herself into the air.

HRAGH!

*SLAAAM!*

UGH!

*She then casts a line forward and sends her entire body smashing straight into Shuichi, sending him tumbling along the ground. Shuichi crawls to his hands and knees, spitting some blood out of his mouth on the floor.

You said Rantaro gave you that Matrix before he died, but it's wasted on trash like you...Rantaro couldn't use that stupid light to stop me, what makes you think you can do the same?

Well...you know what? You might be right...The Symmetra...and I alone won't be enough to beat you.

*With Shuichi's shout, Tsumugi suddenly notices that Kaito and Kokichi are in a control room high above them, cut off from reinforced glass, watching their fight. As Shuichi gives the signal, they work together to pull a lever on the control deck.

*FWOOOM!*

AAGGH! G-GGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!

*Tsumugi jumps as a machine behind her starts to spew flames, but her yell of surprise quickly becomes a scream of agony as Shuichi jumps up and kicks her into the fire.

Hrggh!

H-Huh!? AGH! HHAAAGH!

*Attempting a power move of some kind, Tsumugi attempts to cast out her Nanokuma's and pull Shuichi into the fire with her. To her shock and horror, however, the Nanokuma's catch alight, and the flame spreads all the way along her, burning and scarring her flesh underneath them. With little other choice, she rolls out of the fire, slightly burned. Shuichi holds up a shield to allow himself to walk through the flames unharmed.

Aah...Ngh...!

*Tsumugi is blue in the face with nerves, as she tries to recall the Nanokuma's, and notices that her previous power has drained significantly, only able to summon just enough to make a claw on her hand. Shuichi purses his lips, expecting and planning for this exact outcome.

This was a tentative theory, but it seems to have worked out as I intended. The Nanokuma's can't regenerate in extreme heat, and they're highly flammable due to their small size and the substance their wings are made of.

You ever heard the phrase "like a moth to a flame?" Well, that's funny for MULTIPLE reasons now...

GRRRGH! J..JRREAAAAAAGGGH!!

*Kaito and Kokichi continue to flip switches and press buttons to get more machines to spew out flames, limiting Tsumugi's options. However, this doesn't stop her. She shapeshapes the nanos to surround herself with as many weapons and armor as possible. In the meantime, Shuichi prepares to confront her head-on by wielding a blaster in one hand and a blade in the other. Thereafter, a vicious hand-to-hand battle breaks out between the evil Cosplayer and the brave Detective.

Vestaria Saga II is officially finished!

Excellent game and can’t wait for the next one!
