The years apart did not lessen the anguish & rage they felt towards 𝑨𝒊𝒅𝒂 for “abandoning” them ... as soon as they saw her face again it boiled right back up to the top 🤬

𝑪𝒊𝒆𝒍 is quite proud of the fact that the 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡 isn't fond of them; they believe in supernatural mixing NOT segregation 😌

After having their heart shattered by 𝑨𝒊𝒅𝒂, it took decades for them to even contemplate letting anyone that close again ... slowly but surely 𝑬𝒅𝒘𝒊𝒏 managed to break through the walls they'd built up ❤️‍🩹

They hate 𝙃𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨; killing someone just because they're “supernatural” is disgusting & inhumane, their hatred does not extend towards 𝑨𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒆 though, since her actual priority seems to be the safety of the general public (including supernatural civilians) ⚔️

𝑪𝒊𝒆𝒍 is willing to put their life on the line to protect the “family” they've managed to scrape together: doesn't matter if you're a 𝙃𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧, member of the 𝙃𝙞𝙜𝙝 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙡, or some rando 😤

Water to Blood: Chapters 1-3 Here

Somethings never change.

Place after place you've been shunned, attacked or hunted. All for the blood that drips from your mouth. From the pain of a curse that was forced upon you. Only in a twin flame, someone just like you, have you ever found peace. Decades turned to two centuries as you travelled the world together, sharing the same burden.

Then they were gone. Dead? Alive? It didn't matter because you were alone.

Soon came the High Council. Older and stronger, they thrust you into a position you didn't want, forced to adapt to a new life while still grieving the one you lost. Overwhelmed and tired, you created your own brand of sanctuary, a safe place to drown out your feelings and numb the pain that never really left.

Now the very same people who pushed you into this position of power have come to reap what they feel is owed: End the vampire that threatens their power. Kill the Insurgent.

Who can you trust? Have you ever been more than a pawn? Does any of it even matter?

Water to Blood will be an 18+ game for drugs, alcohol, violence, gore, optional sexual content and other adult themes.

WHO YOU'VE MET:

Arlo/Aida Martin Moreno [m/f]- RO- The vampire from your past. Chance had you encounter each other not once, not twice, but in a series of meetings throughout time. Begrudgingly or not, you stayed side by side for decades until one day they abruptly left. After years of absence, they once again appear in your life. Define your history together, build something new.

Edwin/Edith "Eddie" Reagan [m/f]- RO - The werewolf business partner. For the past decade, the two of you built a night time kingdom from the ground up. Below the board agreements and possible unscrupulous deals have elevated your business into something untouchable. Recently having left their pack, these past few years you've seen more of them than you ever had before. Shape your relationship and strengthen your bond.

Amelie Cadman [f]- RO - The hunter, the human. The two of you have had many run ins in the past. Determined to fix the marred relationship between supernaturals and hunters, she always wears a big smile when faced with your suspicion. Her presence in your life lately has been up more than ever. How could you trust her? A hunter who's oath is not to protect you, but to kill you. And when the time comes... will you? Create a relationship or let it crumble before it even starts.

Halley and Kade Timmons [f&m] - Twin telepathic bartenders at your club.

The Insurgent [m]- ROish- Not much is known about him. Presumptuously strong and influential enough to threaten the council. Wanted for treason but still remains at large. It’s your job to find him.

WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE:

Play as the reluctant high vampire of the city.

Customize your character and your club.

Decide which path is right for you as you are pressured to act: the vampires, the werewolves or the humans.

Define your relationships with those you know and try to build new ones with others.

Develop a romance with one of the three main characters. Or try your chances at someone else. (Romances will not be locked out based on the path you choose.)

Explore the interworkings of supernatural and human organizations.

Attend a gala.

Look. I know I shouldn't post this at like the worst hour but I'm going to be really busy with work tomorrow so I just wanted to kick this out there. I'll just reblog at a better time l8r lol.

(Why don't you post tomorrow after work? Because I'll still be busy but also I already pressed the publish button and I'm impatient, yeps!)

Also, please let me know of any errors in spelling, grammar etc. Also, I would love some feedback on if the prologue and flashback towards the end seems rushed through.

could we get physical descriptions of the wtb ros? 👀

Arlo/Aida is a couple centuries old, has jet black hair, dark green eyes and tawny olive skin with warm undertones, both barely 6' 0". They have a single nose ring that they have to force through every time it comes out and heals quickly. Outfits are typically all black, opting for silk shirts, with the sleeves rolled up, usually unbuttoned one button too far. Their current hairstyle is almost curtained hair, the front falls down to just above their chin, tapering back up to their nape. It's also common for them to gel it back, with strands strategically "falling" in their face for a more dramatic effect.

Edwin/Edith is 33 yrs old, has dark auburn hair, dark brown eyes and lighter beige skin with cool undertones but often sports slightly blushed cheeks, both around 5' 10". Edwin has an ivy league haircut but the hair never stays in place due to its wavy nature and habit of running his hands through it when stressed. Edith wears her hair down to her shoulders, keeping a subtle curl to it. Her hair part is indistinguishable due also to her habit of running her hands through her hair when stressed. Their style is typically business casual. Khaki slacks and either a white or periwinkle collared shirt or blouse, matched with either a sports coat or cardigan.

Amelie is 30 yrs old, has black curly hair, medium brown eyes and russet brown skin with warm undertones, around 5' 8". Her hair falls down a few inches past her shoulders, but is often kept pulled back due to the nature of her job. She mostly wears black jeans rolled up to adjust for her black combat boots and a navy blue long sleeved henley. She often picks at the hem of her sleeves when deep in thought. If not needing to be prepared for combat, she keeps her hair down and exchanges the henley for a cardigan and tank combo, still wearing jeans and boots just in case she needs to 'be somewhere quickly'. She has a double piercing on both ears.

The detective is 27 yrs old, has straight, black hair, medium brown eyes and pale beige skin with cool undertones, around 5' 6". Her hair is kept in a low messy bun. Often wears a nice tank with matching slacks.

The high council liaison is many centuries old, has black short wavy hair, dark brown eyes and medium umber skin with warm undertones, around 5' 9". Their hair is kept close to their head, always neat. Only ever seen in turtle necks worn with medium length suit coats and pants.

The coup group leader is many centuries old and his description will remain unknown! Because... he's supposed to be unknown until you find him in-game.

Almost ready to post the demo! Even got the itch page ready. I'll probably post it sometime this week because I no longer feel like editing. But since there's been nothing on this blog for a few days, here's some stuff.

Below are two songs that represent the "vibes" or whatnot of each main romantic route in Water to Blood. I'm not going to say which belongs to who but that's part of the fun, eh?
