Something was not right.

That's what [Name] had immediately realized as he sat across Dogyeong, smiling like there isn't anything wrong despite he had immediately picked up some oddities throughout his visit. He had just arrived back in the country from a business that took months to finish, so he had been clueless of what was happening here in Seoul until now... well, Dogyeong was catching him up like friendly times but [Name] know he is hiding something.

After all, this man... was not his Dogyeong.

Letting out a hum from what the look-a-like was saying, [Name] took out a pack of cigarettes from his coat. He need a smoke to deal with this. "Mind if I smoke?" He had asked as he saw Dogyeong stopped his talks and smirked at him.

"Go right ahead."

"Thanks."

[Name] politely smiled as he took one, momentarily pausing as he then gestured the pack to Dogyeong if the man wanted one, not minding when the man did took one as he then put the pack back in his coat as he took his lighter and lit up the cigarette.

"Now, where were we again?" [Name] asked out loud, as he eyed the man across him was about to lit his own cigarette. Letting out another hum, [Name] smiled. "Ah, right. You were about to tell me... on who the fuck are you supposed to be?"

The Air change as Dogyeong's eyes narrowed at him, jaw clenched as Dogyeong stopped starting up his lighter for his smoke. Then Dogyeong smiled, an obvious fake one that [Name] caught on rather immediately. "What do you mean?" Dogyeong asked as he start to light up his cigarette again, pretending [Name] did not just asked such a question.

[Name] let out a laugh as he pointed his cigarette at the man across to him. "Oh, come on now! You think I wouldn't noticed?" He said with a smile on his lips although it never reaching his eyes. "I may have not been here for months, but I know you're not Dogyeong Baek."

Eyes narrowing at the imposter, he continued. "I admit, you were pretty convincing when I arrived. I bought it for a moment too, especially since Director Ha wasn't acting strange..." Speaking of Jinung Ha, [Name] is going to squeeze the truth from that man later. That is, if the imposter doesnt squeal first. He didn't like being lied to after all.

"But you forget one thing about Dogyeong..."

"And what is that?" 'Dogyeong' asked as he put down his cigarette and look at [Name], glaring at the man which made the other give him smile, seeming to mock him.

[Name] let out an amused chuckle as he gave 'Dogyeong' a closed eyed smile, tilting his head to the side, acting all innocent. Raising his hand that held his cigarette, [Name] showed off what this imposter was missing that [Name] had concluded he was not the real Dogyeong. A glimmer of gold that immediately caught the other man's attention.

"The engagement ring only he and I have."

 she’s  not  a  complicated  person…  she  has  very  sensitive  ears  n  neck,  go  and  figure  out  the  rest  🥱  if  it’s  the  heart  that  you’re  after,  kisses  on  the  forehead  will  never  fail  to  make  her  melt  🥺  now  that  i  think  about  it,  she’s  the  independent  type  that  you  don’t  expect  to  be  clingy  in  a  relationship,  but  is  fairly  clingy  (  she  would  never  admit  it  )  and  likes  physical  affection  a  lot.

 although  she  works  as  a  nurse  and  has  to  deal  with  all  sorts  of  people,  she  does  prefer  general  physical  wards  over  psychiatric  wards  considering  her  past.  she  used  to  flinch  easily  when  facing  verbally/physically  aggressive  people  when  she’s  younger,  but  age  has  toughened  her  up  quite  a  bit.  she  dislikes  places  that  are  both  dark  and  secluded  in  general  (  a  bit  claustrophobic??  )  and  choking  during  sex  is  a  hard  no  💀

how  are  they  handling  things  now  compared  to  how  they  did  when  it  first  happened?

 there’s  a  period  when  she  hid  herself  from  the  rest  of  the  world  and  distrustful  towards  others,  especially  adults  that  she’s  supposed  to  trust.  thanks  to  her  brothers  and  friends  in  school,  she  gradually  came  out  of  that  shell  and  returned,  for  the  most  part,  to  her  old  cheery  self.  she  is  still  quite  guarded,  but  hides  it  well  enough  under  her  warm  smiles  and  sunny  demeanour  to  gain  trust  from  others.  she  used  to  wear  rose-tinted  glasses  when  she’s  younger,  now  she’s  quite  realistic  and  even  pessimistic  at  times,  but  it’s  also  something  she  hides  well  enough  not  to  burden  people  around  her.

SPOILERS ALERT

TW: trauma, possible sexual assault

This is an episode dedicated to friendships. In one friendship, a character promised a friend to kill a common enemy, while in another, a character was faced with the bitter reality of a friend's changed self.

Before the D-Day of the Grimm Asylum attack, Vin (Hobin) came to see Mary (Miru). Since he cryptically said that he had to say something to her face, she was mortified that he'd probably confess his feelings for her or something. But he laughed it off (I always drift in between shipping and not shipping them but I just love LOVE this banter).

Vin proceeded to tell Mary that Taejin was still alive. Mary was enraged, so much that she insisted on killing Taejin.

But Vin told her that she didn't need to kill people. Vin's hands were already dirtied by murdering another person before, so he said that he'd be the one who killed Taejin this time. (So he did take a life? Who was the victim? Was it an accident? Was it a righteous murder? Was it a moment of rage?)

Taejin was proven to be too strong for Vin, however, and he taunted Vin that pinning Vin down made him remember the "good memories" of Cheonliang and "that bitch who I also caught like this"... And we got the panel of a dead young girl, said to be Hobin's little sister (Her clothes were loosened? Was it both a sexual and a physical assault? OMG NO NO NOOO) .

Vin was in shocked disbelief to realize that Taejin had grown monstrously strong. Apparently Taejin was the sole survivor of the Endless Hell experiment era of the asylum. Aw hell nah.

(No you're not gonna cosplay as Gun (Jonggun) or D.G. in that red panel, Taejin. Dream on.)

Zack (Jinsung) wasn't held back much by Yisoo, who baited him to open a door that led to...

....Johan. (Welcome back, Johan!!)

As predicted, Johan came back, but came back all wrong. Jinyoung and Hangyeol had tweaked his brain to only dwell on rage. (Is he some kind of Frankenstein's creature now? Is this it?)

And it seems that there was "method in Taejin's madness", to quote a line in Shakespeare's Hamlet, since he seemed to be calm enough to be in the know of the nefarious plan to let Allied members met their own separate matches.

My guess is Daniel (Hyungseok) will have to fight his other self (*shudders*), maybe either together with Jay or alone, while Jake (Gimyung) will have to fight Sammy (Seongeun)...

the thing about flex x cop is that i always expected the brother to be the villain, ALWAYS

because of typecasting, of course. this dude always plays the nice guy who turns bad at some point . but also, it kept giving small, subtle hints of it. i just didn't want to believe it

there were moments when i was like, yeah it's not him, he's being played like isoo, especially when the whole dad thing happened. oh, he doesn't know, he's protecting his mother and to some extent, his brother too

and then he just shifts into this cold dude, who all he ever really wanted was power and who might have killed yisoo's mother. i'm sure we could get into this whole discussion about how he turned this bad because his mother failed as a parent and the dad wasn't great to begin with but i also feel like at some point he was able to tell right from wrong and i'm sorry but there's no way you can excuse killing people
