The Right Nation and God Is Back were more substantial , unearthing positive elements for their cosmocratic liberalism, albeit from two unlikely sources. The first stemmed from a fascination with rightwing American intellectuals: William Buckley at National Review, Milton Friedman and the Chicago boys, and the neoconservatives, including Irving Kristol, Daniel Bell, Seymour Lipset and Nathan Glazer. TUCSON, Ariz. — In late Oct. 2022, a man was sentenced to 42 months in federal prison for smuggling ammunition from the United States into Mexico following an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.“This seizure, subsequent investigation and prosecution highlights the fine work federal border security agencies perform each day, often behind the scenes and often unknown to the public,” said Special Agent in Charge Scott Brown of HSI Arizona. “HSI and our partners will continue to aggressively investigate those who attempt to circumvent our nation’s customs law by concealing illicit goods destined to cross our borders.” Adrian Guadalupe Valdez, 45, of Wendel, Idaho, previously pleaded guilty to the smuggling of goods from the United States. On April 1, Valdez attempted to drive a vehicle from the U.S. into Mexico through the Nogales Port of Entry. At the port, CBP officers stopped his vehicle for an outbound inspection. Valdez then ran from the vehicle in an attempt to flee into Mexico, but officers apprehended him. During an inspection of the vehicle, CBP found a total of 17,500 rounds of 7.62x39mm and .223 caliber ammunition in the trunk. Assistant U.S. Attorney Angela W. Woolridge, District of Arizona, Tucson, handled the prosecution. HSI is the principal investigative arm of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, responsible for investigating transnational crime and threats — specifically those criminal organizations that exploit the global infrastructure through which international trade, travel and finance move. HSI’s workforce of over 10,400 employees consists of more than 6,800 special agents assigned to 225 cities throughout the United States, and 93 overseas locations in 56 countries. HSI’s international presence represents DHS’ largest investigative law enforcement presence abroad and one of the largest international footprints in U.S. law enforcement.

Christine GZ será piloto de Veloce Racing en la Extreme E 2022 

Se comienza a mover el mercado de pilotos de la Extreme E para la temporada 2022 y ya tenemos el primer cambio de equipo. Después de una temporada revelación en el equipo Xite Energy Racing, la italo-española Christine GZ  pasará al Veloce Racing reemplazando a Jamie Chadwick. Christine Giampaoli Zonca demostró ser una de las pilotos femeninas más veloces de la categoría, varias veces llevándose el peso de su equipo en clasificación y carrera.

Veloce tuvo una temporada difícil marcada por accidentes en tres de las cinco competencias: Stephane Sarrazin chocó en Arabia Saudita en la clasificación y el equipo no pudo correr, chocó en Groenlandia intentando un heroico sobrepaso doble en la Semi Final y tuvo un impresionante vuelco en Italia en la Crazy Race. También sumaron un buen resultado en Senegal, un segundo puesto detrás de los campeones de Rosberg X Racing. Y se mostraron competitivos con una nueva dupla de Chadwick y Lance Woolridge en Reino Unido, lo que muestra que hay potencial en el equipo.

Por su parte, Christine GZ tuvo una movida temporada que la vio correr en el Andalucía Rally, en el Campeonato Español de Rallyes Todo Terreno, debutar en el Mundial de RallyCross FIA en la clase RX2e y Extreme E. Si bien los resultados no acompañaron a Xite Energy Racing, Giampaoli Zonca demostró ser una de las más rápidas llegando al final de la temporada y ser probablemente la dupla más pareja entre hombre y mujer de la grilla con Oliver Bennett, lo que habla de la velocidad de la italo-española.

It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I inform you of the sudden passing of Adrian Keith Mixon on Wednesday, October 10, 2019.

Adrian, born March 29, 1963, was the son of Charles and Thomasina (Woolridge) Mixon.

Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as we work through this very difficult time.

His siblings, Tracey Mixon of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and brother and sister-in-law Bruce and Marje Mixon of DuPont, Washington survive him.

Bruce and Marje are making the final arrangements and hope to have all information about a memorial service in the next few weeks.
