AlmondTruffle because genuinely love the dynamic of this Tired old detective Meeting this Goth ,eccentric, older woman and having a fun time together.

I HC that since a lot of cookies are scared of Truffle, but Almond wouldn't since he's seen real bad cookies and would see her as the kind woman that she really is and I feel like she can also brighten up almonds day with her stories and hospitality

Also with all the scary stuff she says sometimes you're always in for a treat like Almond would be like are you joking are you not?? But anyways yeah I am in love with them :)

wait wait. i feel like they've almost got a gomez and morticia addams kind of vibe. guy who loves his eccentric goth wife. (almond isnt necessarily exactly like gomez but he DOES have that feeling of "this is my wife look at her she's just gorgeous and amazing" and the wife in question is the most beautiful goth lady you've ever seen)

ALSO your hc that other cookies are usually scared of truffle and almond Not Being Scared of her, that is galaxy brain. bc instead of being scared of her, he can see what other cookies dont think to see at first, because truffle is genuinely a kind woman, even if she is a bit eccentric and unsettling sometimes. but thats why he loves her!

and she loves him because he's determined to do good and keep other cookies safe, and his heart is so good and pure, she Wants it (goth gf affection).

i feel like they're the old type of couple that can easily find comfort in just sitting and enjoying each other's presence. theyll be having afternoon tea at truffles insistence (almond w his coffee depending on his mood that day) and they'll just sit there together while truffle reads a book and almond relaxes for once with no work... truffles also just happy to tell him things and hes so happy to just sit and listen. maybe she reads her book to him, not that he couldn't do it himself, but he likes the sound of her voice and its something nice they do together when hes not busy... (she doesnt read ahead without him either, she would wait for him to be free next so they could continue reading together)

hi im a huge truff fan and also a huge believer in her being autistic just letting you know that I really appreciate that post!!!!!! it’s rare to see ppl think about her beyond ”wow! pretty lady” or “wow! goth lady” and while I obvs don’t dislike ppl for that there is a lot to her despite her being one of the 2 million ob shows up like twice scrunklies

as you were saying, she 100% is pretty lonely :[ . not only is she quite reserved and a bit kooky anyway but she prefers to stay inside and only really goes out in the evenings/ at night bc she can’t cope with light . ((((sensory issues moment))) (((she also only likes wearing certain types & textures of clothing))) (((she just like me))) . this is why the bake my day where blackberry organises a tea party for her at night fills me with utter GLEE. every time she’s shown talking to ppl or making friends i get so happy.

i think loads of autistic ppl myself included can relate to her for many reasons. for me it’s just really cool to see a character who has similar struggles with communication and outside assumption and also taste in hobbies and looks as me to exist!!! and it makes me extra happy when someone else sees these patterns too!! i think she’s a great fun underrated character that I wish wasn’t so overlooked

NO SERIOUSLY .... like ill be honest the main reason i started looking into her character was because almondtruffle looked neat and i wanted to look into possible dynamics more but . Ouughgvh shes def a new fave of mine i didnt even know how fun she was... silly little lady who is not nearly as scary as she seems<3 ive only ever seen the fandom talk about her being pretty and spooky like you said ,,i wish more people talked about her because i think shes such a cool character. theres so much room for both angst and fluff in her loneliness im goimg to grab her and squeak her like a dog toy (affectionate)AND . AUTIDM !!!! im not autistic but i do have adhd and i have weird interests and hobbies and a weird appearence and i can also relate to her in that way ,,, shes so silly and fun she deserves to have friends who love her and appreciate her Genuinely she seems like such a sweet person but shes just. so horribly misunderstood WAAAHH HEAD IN HANDS i need to give her a platonic little kiss on the cheek and tell her i like her tea

An idea that came to my mind for Almondtruffle:

Truffle walking to somewhere (outside) around afternoon while snowing and holding some bags of food. She went to M. E. H. Department to meet Almond. Since she know Almond will come home late as always, she brought some warm cookies and coffee.

As she go inside she kiss his cheek and give the food and drink for him. "I'll be waiting you at home with Walnut. You better not work too hard".

Almond blushing and then he kiss her head then said "i won't be late this time. I promised" With the smile in his face.
