Minna Leunig's murals are striking and work perfectly in the landscapes in which they inhibit. Also holding a strong studio practice I appreciate how her works translate from the studio into large scale public spaces. I think the minimalistic and pattern like qualities of her style merges beautifully and considerately onto buildings and walls, while holding subtle nods to the subject matter the work can be easily enjoyed and appreciated at first glance.

I was listening to stuff for my literature course - Kafka’s The Metamorphosis, The Overcoat by Gogol but primarily TS Elliot’s The Wasteland - and drew this.
