littol brown snake at work today. juvenile. apparently their bites can be fatal even as juveniles! but it was really cute - I saw it first and trotted off and told higher-ups like a good little girl. we closed the door so the snakeling could not get out and cause havoc; I kept walking past and wanting to open the door and look at it again, because it was so beautiful. but I refrained.

#snake #personal #i went and told the higher ups and the girl couldn't stop panicking a bit #i did what she told me in closing the door and putting a towel against it; she rang up the snake removalist #so even if i were gonna be there tomorrow it wouldn't be there by then #but it was beautiful! and i said out loud as i was walking 'God's been showing me all these beautiful animals and birds lately #isn't that lovely' and by the word 'lovely' i was sobbing lol #God's blessings come all the time! in so many different ways! #including in a very small very cute brown snake! #and of course the three kittens the other day and the darling void (same litter) who came yesterday #she purred and fell asleep on me. she was beautiful #no pics bc i was holding her the entire time and was also wearing black so no point in asking others to get pics for me #she fell into a hole on our property and miaued so i went down and rescued her. got a bunch of scratches bc she panicked halfway up getting #out. she also was really one for kneading with her paws. i have a few scratches from that too lol. and she cried overnight when she was #left alone. but i went and picked her up in the morning and within thirty seconds she was purring so i think she was ok #kittens
