finally reading Renegades and every Nova chapter is just her being so unbelievably traumatized and badly adjusted and starved of human connection and plotting the destruction of everyone around her. and then every Adrian chapter is like “wow. so i got to go to marissa meyer's tour a few days ago and wanted to pass along some news she shared

- there are three new fairytale retellings in the works, likely taking place in the gilded universe.

- someone asked about nova and magpie, and she said something was in the works (!!!)

- the instant karma movie got cancelled

- however, she sounded very certain the lunar choronicles movie was going to happen (!!!!!!) and said a script was done and while she was in la she was going to look at character designs and possible backgrounds !!!!!!!

it was really amazing to meet her and tell her how much her work means to me, and i got my copy of cinder signed :))))

Having just finished Supernova, I forgot just how balls-to-the-wall that book is? And I mean this in the best way possible. But like, Nova gets arrested, Nova gets out, Ruby and Simon lose their powers and a third of the council gets killed, Callum dies after living up to his alias in the most spectacular way possible, we find our Adrian made Phobia, Ace dies, every single person on the planet loses their powers and the regains them in the span of 5 pages.

And then there’s the fact that in the epilogue we find out Magpie is Evie??? Ms. Meyer, I love you, but what???? Why did you tell us that in the epilogue of the last book????
