1. Are you more of a morning person or a night person?

I’m a morning person now. I used to be a night owl.

2. How did you discover The Sims series?

I love Sim City and Sim Earth, so I looked forward to the Sims too when it came out.

3. Favourite literary genre, if any?

I really love all kinds of books, but I guess I have a special love for scifi and fantasy, I especially love anything with a fairt tale element.

4. Contemporary art: yay or nay?

Totally Yay.

5. Removing the ladder from the sims’ swimming pool: we all did it. But what’s the worst kind of torture you’ve ever subjected your poor pixel people to? 

Back in the Sims 1 era, I used to be a co owner of a site called Deviant Sim, and we did sex mods for the Sims. So, I had a household that was used only for testing the sex mods. These Sims literally did nothing but have sex. No, that’s not the torture. The torture was that I had an NPC butler on that lot. That poor guy.

6. WTF moments in the Sims are a must almost as much as the removing the swimming pool ladder. What’s the funniest, weirdest or, why not, scariest glitch you’ve ever got in your game?

In Sims 2, I was writing story, and I wanted to do a scene where a young adult talks to the ghost of his dead father. I didn’t want to wait for the ghost to appear naturally, because that could be days, so I used the tombstone of life and death to summon the ghost. I got my scene, but what I didn’t realize was that doing this would make the game treat this Sim as dying again, so the whole family ended up in mourning again. One of the toddlers in the family was close to aging up and she had a fear of a relative dying, and she grew up badly because of it.

7. You can create the Sims game of your dreams, but you have to choose three main features from the previous games to create the new one. Which features would you choose?

a TS2 style Bodyshop that can be used outside of the game. I’d want story progression (but, like Twallan’s, not EA’s crap) and Create a Style.

8. Write your own nickname with closed eyes. Yes, random question is random.

9. What do you use the most to browse the Internet? Phone, tablet, pc or…?

Mostly PC. 10. Myths, legends, magic places… every country has its own. Can you tell us one from your country? 

The state I’m from, Rhode Island, has an interesting history with vampire legends from the mid to late 1800s. It was tied to the belief that tuberculosis was actually caused by dead relatives sucking the life out of the living. I actually made a Sim based on that for Simblreen two years ago.

End of Year Collage - Best of 2019

Rules: Find your fave pics of your story or your blog in general and post them up in a collage! :D it can be 1 picture or 100 whatever you want. But just reflect on your fave moments in your story or on your blog. It can be cute moments or pictures you’re just really proud of.

I did this last year and decided to make one for 2019, too.

I used the TumblrTop10 generator for my top CC uploads, which naturally get more traffic than my gameplay pics & photosets.

But I like giving a top 10 for my gameplay pics too, looking back at all my fave fandoms I incorporated into The Sims 3 throughout the year.

MY THOUGHTS (for each month) under the cut:

January - February: Tsuki no Kusuri

My Asian Alice in Wonderland meets Wizard of Oz gameplay, which I ran out of time on before all my other simming projects started. I WILL have to finish this, cuz I really liked it. There’s just not enough time in the year~! U_U

March: Malec & Shadowhunters

Season 3A and ESPECIALLY Season 3B put this here girl THROUGH IT. I still haven’t even PROCESSED 3B yet! XD In 2020 I’ll catch up on my 3B inspired gameplay posts.

April: God of War

I freaking love this game. I’m actually listening to the OST as I type all this. XD

May: MALEC

Malec got married! :D And the Shadowhunters series officially ended. :( We were effing robbed. >_<

June - July: New Game, Who Dis? (Dragon Age & Sekiro)

I started my Sekiro and Dragon Age Inquisition conversions. The DAI stuff got way more buzz than the Sekiro stuff by FAR, so I decided to focus more on DAI in July and put Sekiro on the back burner.

July: DAD of BOY

The wonderful Astreanevermore helped me realize my dream of having Kratos in my Sims 3 God of War gameplay!

August: Mariachi de los Muertos

I’ve always wanted to do an undead mariachi post, don’t ask me why. I still wanna do a creepier version. But I love the way the colorful & fun version came out, too. 

September: Area 52 Raid

I was in a seriously deep sci-fi mood that month. The Cyberpunk Metropolis set & post went through the roof with y’all, and I was shocked. It all perfectly coincided with the IRL Area 51 Raid that never happened. So I made my sims go. They got arrested. XD

October: Nagron’s Halloween

I was pretty Malec heavy this year, so for Halloween I decided to give Nagron some love, as they decorated their new house for the holiday season, and invited their friends and family over for some good ole Season’s Creepings. >:)

November: LoL INSP True Damage

I bet y’all were effing sick of the True Damage I kept spamming everyone with. Sorry, but as long as the song’s stuck in MY head, y’all are gonna have to just deal with it! XD

December: The Mandalorian

Because I am obsessed. I need that baby in my life. Even if he Force chokes me when I forget to change his nappies or the frogs aren’t slimy enough. NEED. I’ll steal him from the entire frikkin Empire if I have to!
