The heightened and possibly intense energy doesn’t let up today as we awake with the Moon meeting Uranus in Taurus. I have observed these days as moments of Emotional Epiphany and an ability to make changes, and this is compounded by the fact Mars in Libra is squaring the planet of Transformation and Power, Pluto. Pluto is making his presence known this entire week. This is the closing square of a Mars Pluto cycle that began March 23rd 2020. Does that date ring a bell? Closing squares are the last adjustment of a phase and the theme here is our inner authority, boundaries, and the balance of power. The next Mars Pluto conjunction will be with Venus in March of next year and will start the last Mars Pluto conjunction in the Cardinal signs. This is in essence our last go round with Mars interaction with a Cardinal Pluto - saving a few squares and an opposition aspects into 2024 until 2067. It’s a big deal. Pay attention today. Only written, you can find the link in my bio! ———————————————————- Monday 10/11 Moon is in Sagittarius in the morning but moves into Capricorn mid-day - which means it begins approaching the first quarter square, or as you may view it, the half moon! This is the first adjustment after planting the seed of the New Moon phase so it has potential to be a tense day regarding rules and boundaries that you need to set in relationships. The helpful thing about this moon transit through Saturn ruled Capricorn is that Venus in Sagittarius will make an opportunistic sextile to Saturn in Aquarius which has JUST gone direct (finally). So, while the work has to be done it is supported by the highest minded ideals and goals! The sextile is exact on Wednesday but already active as we begin the week. We still have Mercury retrograding through Libra as well as the Sun and Mars which have just conjoined to begin a new phase. The beginning of this week may feel like a brand new start. Tuesday 10/12 If you are an early riser, you may catch the Moon square to Chiron in Aries and Mercury Retrograde in Libra which makes a t-square in which we are required to act on how we communicate and cooperate in relationships but also how we stay in our authenticity and sovereignty. The Moon in Capricorn says “well, perhaps we should adjust the rules and boundaries”. With Saturn direct in Aquarius sextile Saturn it may feel more possible to do so. As we approach the evening we are also getting closer to the waxing first quarter square. With the Pluto very close by it will be time to push forward and step into our own power and authority. What a week we have ahead of us. Mars opposite Neptune makes for some inspirational yet zoned out days. Then Venus square Pluto and Mars Trine Pluto reminds us we have to wake up and stand in our power! This is very much the caterpillar turns to goo then emerges from the cocoon as a beautiful butterfly week. I have been communing quite a bit with the butterfly as I have a prolific amount of the Gulf Fritillary host plant, the Passionflower, all over my yard. I have learned so much watching their process. They eat and eat away at the leaves and then when they are plump, they find a good place to make their cocoon and proceed to turn to goo. They don’t judge the process or fight it. They don’t say “but I love being a caterpillar I don’t want to turn to goo” they just allow it. I have noticed, though, that it does sometimes take a while for them to let go of their cocoon. My weekly astro overview is out on YouTube and in your inbox if you are subscribed to my emails. Today the Moon is in Virgo - it has already had its meeting with Mars which could have made things a bit hectic first thing. Now it trines Uranus and gives us an insight to how we can better organize or tweak things to support ourselves. Additionally Mercury opposes Jupiter which could inspire us to get creative. One thing is for sure, today is a busy one. So what do we do? We have to make time to take care of our health and wellness. Virgo rules work and health. They are inextricable related. This eclipse portal is one fir the record books when I think of plans and direction. We may have to shift or figure things out. How do we make our dreams come true? How do we get from here to there? We have to build the bridge. Clear the path. Make the decisions. Listen, read, and research. We have to put in the work. When hiking through a dense area in the south in the summer, sometimes you just have to bushwhack your way forward even though you can’t quite see the path - you just reference your map and your compass and push through. Trust your instincts. Today the Moon is in Libra and it is trining Saturn in Aquarius (building the path forward from the heart) The moon will also trine Venus later tonight possibly giving us a little “good job” pat on the back. Mercury is square Neptune today which could cause uncertainty or disillusionment - lean in on the foundations you’ve been building and keep working towards the goal, whatever it may be. It will support you! Mars is getting closer to training Neptune as well which is a mixed back of moving emotion and spiritual enlightenment - or more disillusionment and escapism. Saturn is our friend for now. Sometimes obstacles are there for a reason. Happy Gemini Season!! But perhaps more importantly - Happy Eclipse Season We are quickly approaching the Lunar Eclipse on May 26th in Sagittarius. This sign is associated with our personal story, what we believe to be true about reality and the direction we are headed. This coming Lunar Eclipse will aid us in discarding a narrative about our lives that is no longer serving us! Sometimes we aren’t even aware of our narratives. They sound like the worries and lies that run through our unconscious brains when we are lying awake at night: “I could never get a job like that, my resume isn’t good enough” or “I could never be comfortable in that swimsuit”. Just now, Venus has moved to the 10th degree of Taurus and nearly exactly conjoined to Uranus. This can be shocking revelations and uncomfortable realizations. But there is an opportunity here as well - this conjunction can shake us out of ruts and help us get our feet out of the mud. Mars is at the last degree of Gemini which is known as the anaretic or crisis degree so we can absolutely be dealing with difficult communication and information. Take it easy on yourself today. If sometime surprises you, use the Moon in Virgo to nurture yourself with things that make your body feel better. Virgo also helps us prune away unnecessary things in order to grow into our fullest potential. Today we wake up with the Moon in the communicative and frenetic sign of Gemini and also a minor grand trine with Mars in Gemini and Jupiter in Aquarius both making opportunistic connections with the Sun in Aries. Again, I stress the fact that people will most likely be speaking up about what they believe and fighting for what they feel is right during this time. On a more personal level, this could be a wonderful time to advance any project forward or connect with people. It would be a good idea to check out my New Moon in Aries video to figure out what this energy might mean for you according to your rising sign. Mars is action, ego, will, and desire - when it forms a supportive trine to Jupiter which is abundance and expansion - what we get is people acting pretty wild. This could include you! So while it is a good idea to use the motivation to get things done, it is also a good idea to pause before speaking and to mind your physical body. We may feel like we can do anything - but check in with yourself before attempting that cool trick on the skateboard that you haven’t tried since you were 15.
