I've realized that I have two shipping moods: ship everyone (Grant especially, for obvious reasons) with Henry because I love these characters and want them to be happy, and ship everyone (Grant especially, for obvious reasons) with Joey because I love these characters and want them to go through misery and drama.

There are two known Grant ships:

ah yes something fun and light for once.

You can guarantee Shawn and Wally are just Brothers in arms in the studio. Shawn’s older than Wally and also has a bit of that big-bro-vibe back with his own family. Wally can literally go anywhere in the studio and is just the friendliest one around trying to lighten things up.

also this is just a litte fun headcanon bout the two, but Wally and Shawn are the two cheeky ones who go about and ship people around, basically two angels forming one cupid ^^ (signficantly, they helped Tom when it comes to Allison, Thomas isn’t that of a flirt lol)

These two also share a bond with Grant! It may be something unexpected but Shawn met Grant when they were at the same bar and got along with each other, soon adding Wally to the list! Which is honestly a good thing especially with Grant constantly drained and sometimes a bit anxious with work, two energetic idiots with the tired smart guy

Joey is a toxin and Henry is the antidote. Drop him into Sammy x Joey or Joey x Grant and it becomes twice as wholesome and half as terrible. Try it.

I like to think that Henry’s just the studio dad who manages the slightly feral weird children of the studio (Joey included because well, Joey).

Though I would say a Henry x Joey x Sammy sounds more of Henry just placing the two together in a “get along” shirt

As for with the addition of Grant, he just rolls with it. ‘least someone’s more willing to help him.

Any thoughts on Joey x Henry? Who doesn't love a ship that is filled with drama?

hooo boy, this ship.

tbh I have mixed thoughts about it really. If I were to break down my headcanons to explain it, basically Joey and Henry have known each other since Highschool. And yea, even back then Joey may still have been the creep that he is. But Henry stayed with him because he had hope for Joey, especially with Joey’s rough relations with his family, and he definitely tried to help.

But the amount of arrows Henry was blocking for Joey at this point was just irrresistible, as seen in his canon story, especially since Joey was one to be easily overtaken by pride and greed. Until yea, he leaves and y’all know the rest. :)

Does any of your crew hate themselves? If so, how do they cope?

(I answered this before but in a stupidly wrong interpretation, apologies anon skskdhjf)

Every now and then someone will just occasionally feel bad, so the way they cope is very context-dependent and situational. But one thing for sure you wouldn’t guarantee that all of the crew has healthy methods of coping.

People like Susie/Wally/Jack who are usually more jolly would probably choose to seek out people they trust or just socialize and hang out if they don’t want to admit their problems to forget it all in general.

Then there’s the opposition, Sammy/Grant would probably isolate themselves a bit (you can damn guarantee that includes a bottle or two) till they just move on with their self hatred.

Really nice tbh for a canon ship (samsie im waiting hhhh). Allison and Tom both have their equal tracks in some way, both are somewhat quiet people adding to Thomas described as a human brick wall and Allison just a nice mom figure. Add the fact that they have their own baggage of guilts kept inside.

Allison’s father was a respected man in their hometown, was also a general in the army, so it was also nice when her father found out that his future son-in-law used to serve the military aswell ^^. Being the only child Allison was raised to not let her guard down, regardless of how quiet she may be. As for Thomas, he grew up a good mechanic bonding with his father in the garage doing some heavy work.

In short, I highly approve of the two and that their relationship is canon :DD

Joey and Susie? Basically everythin’ you’ve seen in the canon lore. Even for my own Joey who only like 2% of people know about, from his name Noir literally describes him as one cynical bitch. Susie refers to him as some ‘smooth talker’ and all that and he really just started doing so because 1. Susie at that time was having doubts at Drew and 2. Trying to lure her into the whole Angel whatchamacallit.

Im still trying to connect the dots why the hell Susie has a weird taste for men and even agree to be with this bastard aside from just being that naive herself and devoted to her career. And literally just one look at Malice you would clearly see how bad she’s gone through.

Well, literally from the community, its too unhealthy and abusive in general. My Grant wasn’t even that of a depressive nightmare (and prob canon grant from his audio log) before, actually pretty logical and straight forward and was just overall doing his best with his job, but Mr FUCKIN DREW had to shred my accountant boi to pieces along with every other existing worker//

in short, not alotta good things I can say about this ship. Unless you wanna maybe flip themes with a nicer.. Joey.
