Chugging along, continuously undermining myself by making changes on the wings because 99/100ths of the way through them I pulled a me and started wondering if I should do a different stich. But not being able to decide what stitch.
At some point Kinn and Porsche are going to be completely and hopelessly in love with each other and they're going to act like it ... and I don't think I will ever be ready for this
After a long week end of convention, I'm back! It was a very nice week end. I had my panel on The Boys and even if I prepared too much text, and didn't have enough time to say everything, it was an experience.
I got to see Jim Beaver on stage!!! It was one of the first time I saw a celebrity on stage, it was surreal! I didn't take pics cause I was too... in awe 😂 also his daughter was there and he was so proud it was so cute
Anyway it's over now and I'll be able to work on requests and do bingo cards! I missed y'all 😋
"bluntly honest" autism but in the sense that i absolutely cannot refrain from complimenting strangers if i like their earrings or their shirt or i think they have a friendly-sounding laugh or i think their art is beautiful or i think the fic they wrote portrays the characters so well. "bluntly honest" doesn't have to mean "mean". i love to tell people things that are kind and also true.
I remember the first time I read The Little Match Girl. I was about 6 or 7. It was my first time reading Hans Christian Anderson and, as a small child, my first story without a happy ending.
I remember going to my mother and demanding, through tears of sorrow and rage, (paraphrasing, but not much) what the hell kind of story was this? Little girl lives brutal, miserable life and freezes to death in the snow, how could you write something like that? How could anyone write something so unfair?
I remember very, very clearly my mother's attempt to explain.
"It's not a totally unhappy ending, she gets to go to heaven-"
"BUT SHE'S DEAD."
By the time I was a teenager, I understood the concept of tragedy and why people like it, and also that Hans Christian Anderson was Just Kinda Like That.
But I remember very, very clearly the surge of smug, delighted vindication I felt the first time I read The Hogfather, and read Death himself saying (paraphrased) "Absolutely fuck that"
my gay ass watching deadloch: tall tall tall tall ooooh sensible clothing tall long legs look at these plain shirts and pants lovely hair tall i mean her face is just aaah and oh my god madeleine sami is also here wearing fleeces and camo great
I really love the way the intimate scenes between Kinn and Porsche are filmed 🤌 . The play of lights, the mirrors (or windows)... They show skin but not too much.. It's very sensual, very intimate, nothing vulgar. These scenes are masterpieces for me 👏
And a special thought for Apo and Miles who are just extraordinary and who trust each other so much for a masterful rendering.
imo the funniest james somerton plagiarism is the encyclopedia page on homosexuality. you are literally a gay man, why do you need to plagiarize this? JUST TALK FROM EXPERIENCE WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?? WHAT MENTAL ILLNESS IS THIS

Come spend a summer in New York.
The sun sets a little differently over the Empire State.
「 Bruno's always been the odd one on his block. He works as a drywaller but has hopes of making a living writing for Broadway. His family is pretty well known around town, but he's always preferred to keep a low profile. Bruno's best friend, Luigi (Super Mario Bros.), runs a plumbing business with his older brother in Brooklyn. They've known each other since they were kids, always being picked last for basketball or bonding over the color green.
Their other best friend is Kuzco (Emperor's New Groove), a rich kid from Upper Manhattan and up-and-coming heir to his family's billion-dollar empire. However, due to his lack of maturity and wild party-boy behavior, Kuzco has been temporarily cut off financially, forcing him to take a job as a Taxi driver.
Despite being cut off, Kuzco still has access to some perks, like the rooftop basketball court of the Sports Club his Dad owns. But Kuzco's not the only one with a hookup.
Audrey Ramirez (Atlantis: The Lost Empire), a chief mechanic engineer, can come and go as she pleases thanks to this being the gym where her Boxing Champion sister trains. She's always with her best friend and roommate, Chel (The Road to El Dorado), who is originally from Colombia and works at The Met.」
For @wdtajn crossover week!
