NGL WATCHING THE MOVEMENTS OF THIS WOMAN DANCE HAS ME FEELING SOME TYPE OF WAY...
A L S O
do and you ever pause and think about the super early or 'primitive' (hate that word) cultural origins of certain ubiquitous, often unquestioned and SEEMINGLY inexplicable things like: ..
WHY IS THIS dance a thing, and why does it literally ACTUALLY look EXACTLY like the movement of certain unbodied entities ive seen wirh my own eyes ?
WHY does virtually every single culture/people/society have SOME kind of conception/idea/mythology of what can EASILY be identified as what we would almost universally quantify as a vampire?
why do almost All cultures share a deeply 'irrational' (another word I don't like) superstitious reluctance to step on a person's grave??
Or why do Germans have a SPECIFIC word for the insanely specified concept of an 'EVIL TWIN'?
Are these things proto-Jungian touchstones that indicate a common human experience? Or icons reflecting a universal set of symbols and fears that are inborn to the experience of being human?
