In which Benny owns a coffee shop and has a pie addict as well as a weirdo in a trench-coat among his regulars.

Who doesn’t love a meet-cute in a coffee shop? This fic is short & sweet, and told entirely from Benny’s POV. Plus, it contains as much mutual pining as will physically fit in 2.4k!

Benny is as sweet as his pecan pie as he (not so subtly) tries to pair together two of his regulars, Dean and Cas. Elizabeth plays the straight-man to Benny’s romantic, and they have a wonderful sibling-energy, bickering from the sidelines.

The major misunderstanding comes when Dean grabs a coffee with Sam. Castiel, of course, gets the wrong impression.

"Castiel didn't show for nearly a week after that - much to Dean's very obvious distress (in Benny's opinion; Elizabeth told him he was delusional)."
