The letter from Voss, and the slate from Orpheus from the epilogue party💜
Notes on the gith words: 'she'lak' means benevolent burden; idealist do-gooder (thanks, babe)
I believe 'Revrykal t'Orpheus' means servant of Orpheus (gay).
And 'Gith'ka tavkim krash'ht' means 'Gith's light guide us'.

when i say nicknames in books are my fucking weakness this is what i mean:
“in spite of himself, dom could not help but smile, a grin spreading over his face. she raised her chin to him, her heartbeat a drum in his ears. again, she spun the ring of keys.
elder, she said.
amhara, he answered.”

since I won’t be buying the next one, I’ll say it now to make peace with it and then go on to make up my own little happy headcanons but: the way Dom x Sorasa was written in RB2 was absolutely not it. There were some lines with great potential and glimpses of great shipping moments, but Dom was an absolute jerk toward Sorasa most of the book. And it wasn’t even in like a ‘bickering idiots falling in love’ kind of way, it was in a self-righteous, head up in his own ass, rude rude fucker, kind of way. It isn’t until Sorasa goes through something horribly traumatic to sever her ties to what was her life, her identity, her home that Dom deems her worthy of basic respect. As if she hasn’t been protecting Corayne with her life, and saving the companions’ asses for a while now. It isn’t until she’s completely “morally cleansed” that he sees her in a new light. And I’m all for stupid men, don’t get me wrong. Just not Church Youth Group Leader stupid.

when they are so fucking dangerous that they needed to be chained within a cell and the guards are afraid that they don’t get close to her cell, so they give her food with a stick and he has chains around his neck and arms that are keeping him immobile because that’s how fucking deadly they are>>>

Blade Breaker spoilers:
We know from when Corayne fell into the spindle that the Ashlands had ruins, which means they were once inhabited, which explains the corpses. It was also said multiple times that that is what realms What Waits conquers becomes, and he will do it to Allward if Corayne doesn't stop him. We know the Cor bloodline came from another Realm, and the only other inhabited realm we know if so far is Glorian, where the Elders are from. So what if the realm the Corblood is searching for is now the Ashland, and the corpse army the inhabitants. Imagine, that Taristan is ordering around his own ancestors, and Corayne is destroying her own kin.
This also brings up that it wasn't like that, before What Waits got his hands on it, so that must mean he came from somewhere, or was once just a regular god.
My other theory is that the Ashlands was Glorian, and the Elders can never go back home. It would be equally as emotional for everyone.
