For today I wanted an illustration of Nesta and Cassian enjoying the tranquility of the House. This was, in fact, the first illustration that I commissioned with Pablo and when I saw how it turned out, I was unable to correctly order the words because of how impacted I was by the beauty of the illustration.

For today I wanted an illustration that shows Nesta doing something that makes her feel like herself and at the same time sharing that part of herself with those she loves and who love her in return.

Jessica is really sweet and was able to do this soft illustration of Nesta dancing with Nyx and I’m so grateful for that. I hope we get to see more moments of Nyx with his favorite aunt (Nesta, obviously) in the next books.

A cover I made for a christmas gift ! The colors are bad because tumblr ruined the quality a bit. I really enjoyed the process, finding the right composition took me the longest time while doing the final cover took me less than a week. I'm starting to become more and more efficient in doing bookcovers ! I also made the typography for the title ! I hope you're all having great holidays !

You see another issue I have with the Elain and Azriel are true mates theory is that fact that there was three weeks where Feyre was in the Spring Court and within those three weeks, Azriel did not visit Elain of his own accord once. Only when Feyre comes back do Elain and Azriel ever interact. If Azriel was Elain’s true mate, he would have not let anything deter him from visiting her in those three weeks.

Let’s take Nessian and Elucien for example. Lucien was damn near feral to get back to Elain in the begging of ACOWAR and even exhibited that in ACOMAF, Cassian visited the House of Wind almost every single day Feyre was gone. Why? Because he couldn’t stay away from Nesta because she was his mate,

If Az was Elain’s true mate he would be exhibiting those behaviors as n those three weeks as well, but he wasn’t. Do I think Elain and Azriel have feelings for each other? Yes, I’m not arguing that, but do I think they’re true mates. No.

But why are Rhys Stans trying to act like they wouldn’t have called Nesta a bitch if she had made a different choice and not given Bryce the mask? Like I’ve said before that I get why Rhys was angry, it still doesn’t justify continuing to harass Nesta when he’s already laid into her. But y’all act like you wouldn’t have had a problem with Nesta either way because I know for a lot of you what she decides doesn’t matter because you’ll find a way to hate on her regardless. It’s sheer dumb luck when her decision ends up working out but if she had kept the mask from Bryce, y’all would be saying how selfish and self centered and dare she put Midgard in danger like that when Bryce is just simply asking her to help. Like come on I already know that’s probably what would have happened regardless of her decision.
