Aku tidak tau apakah aku ini bisa disebut seorang beatlemania atau bukan..

Tapi yang aku tau, playlist di gadget ku terdominasi oleh lagu-lagu 60an dengan suara seksi dari John, Paul and the gank.

Aku mendengarkan lagu-lagu The Beatles entah sejak kapan, yang aku ingat lagu pertama yang membawa ku menyukai 4 sekawan asal Britania raya ini adalah dari lantunan lagu yang berdurasi lebih dari 7 menit dengan ending yang hanya mengulang kata Na....na..na..na..na..na..na....

Ya.., lagu Hey Jude lah yang membawa ku hingga penasaran dengan band satu ini. Lalu dari situ aku mulai menyukai lagu-lagu populer Beatles lainnya, seperti I wanna hold your hand, Yesterday, Something, In my life, dan masih banyak yang lainnya yang pasti kamu juga pernah mendengarnya.

Lantunan instrument alat musik yang diracik dengan lirik yang syahdu dan nyentrik seakan menyihirku hingga kini masih setia mendengarkan lagu-lagu lawas mereka seperti I need you, Get back, Help!, I will dan masih banyak lainnya. Seperti fans pada umumnya, tanpa sadar kaos, topi, tas, poster, hingga pick gitar bertema beatles sudah kujamahi. Bukan untuk apa-apa, tapi hanya ingin mengapresiasikan kegemaranku atas karya-karya beatles yang dapat membuat aku dan beatles seakan terasa akrab.

Namun terkadang aku risih dengan beberapa orang yang nyinyir saat aku sedang dengan asik mendengarkan atau menyanyikan lagu beatles, mereka tahu beatles namun hanya sekedar tahu dan dengan bangga menegurku sesekali dan beberapa kalimat yang masih samar teringat adalah saat sesorang berkata kepadaku, “Beatles itu tuh band yang menghujat Tuhan. Baik-baik deh kalo ngefans, jangan sering dengerin lagunya, entar keikutan jadi ga bener juga”. Hanya senyum seadanya yang aku berikan padanya lalu aku berlalu.

Bila kalian belum tahu, ya memang benar, ada perkataan dari salah satu personil Beatles pernah mengatakan hal yang menurutku juga cukup mencengangkan. Yaitu saat Beatles sedang berada di puncak ketenaran pada masanya saat itu, John Lennon berkata, “kita lihat siapa yang lebih dulu tenggelam, Tuhan beserta ajarannya atau The Beatles dengan aliran rock n rollnya”. Kira-kira hal itu lah yang kemudian menjadi banyak orang menjudge bahwa Beatles adalah band yang menghujat Tuhan.

Menurutku musik itu bukan untuk diperdebatkan oleh siapa musik itu dibuat dan bagaimana kepribadian orang yang membuat musik tersebut, musik itu seni. Seni itu ada untuk dinikmati. Sesederhana aktivitas pagi hariku yang tambah nikmat bila memakan semangkuk sereal dan susu dengan di iringi lantunan musik di pagi hari yang membawa mood sepanjang hari menjadi bersemangat.

Tuhan itu maha esa, Tuhan itu maha adil, untuk apa kita mengadili dan menghakimi orang yang menghujat Tuhan, toh Tuhan sendirilah yang akan memberikan pengadilan pada orang itu. Untuk apa kita mempeributkan untuk membela Tuhan. Tanpa dibela, Tuhan sudah maha tinggi diatas segalanya, bila kita meragukan itu, lalu siapakah yang menghujat Tuhan sebenarnya?

Aku sebenarnya juga bukan lah fans yang terlalu fanatic dengan beatles. Aku juga masih sering mendengarkan banyak music yang lain, tapi mungkin music dari Beatles memang mendominasi. Aku sering juga mendengarkan lagu-lagu dari Queen, Arctic Monkeys, The Sigit, Banda Neira, Endah N Rhesa dan musik-musik genre folk dari band indie luar yang tak ku hafal namanya. Selera musik ku kadang juga diluar kendali, sesuka suasana hati, Karena balik lagi ke point bahwa musik itu untuk dinikmati dan bukan untuk terkekang dengan satu genre saja untuk dapat didengarkan di telinga.

Untuk urusan John menghujat Tuhan, itu urusan John dengan Tuhan. Ya sudah hingga disitu saja, tak usah diambil pusing lagi. Untuk apa hal itu harus dicampur aduk dengan karya-karya musik The Beatles, yang dimana Beatles pun bukan hanya John sendiri. Paul, George dan Ringgo pasti juga setuju dengan ucapanku.

Hey.. The Beatles, Terimakasih sudah pernah ada di dunia ini. Terima kasih sudah menyajikan 9 album terkeren dengan jejeran lagu ter-aduhai untuk dikenang dan dinikmati.

Terima kasih untuk Mr.John and Mr.George yang telah berpulang, karya-karyamu keren Uncle! Dan juga untuk Mr.Paul dan Mr.Ringgo yang masih ada saat ini, entah bagaimana umur kita yang terpantau jauh, tapi selalu ada decak kagum saat melihat kalian yang saat ini sudah berumur setengah abad lebih tapi masih piawai bila sedang diatas panggung, two thumb for you two uncle!
