happy ffwf!! in your most recent fic and/or a fic of your choosing, what's a detail you included that you absolutely adore/are proud of/etc. and why? did any readers pick up on it? (- thinkingisadangerouspastime)

First of all, I’m so pleasantly surprised by this, thank you for including me in ffwf ! 😭 🙏🏼

As for the question, "A Different Possibility" was a just one shot so I wasn’t able to hide many ~subliminal messages~ in it that a reader wouldn't notice at first glance, haha.

but I will say that I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to properly represent aang & bumi's characters in such a short fic so I tried really hard to show their quirks & personalities through the dialogue and mannerisms. Especially with Bumi- he's the type of character that takes up so much space bc of his unique and lively disposition even when he has limitied screentime, that I was scared it wouldn't properly translate.

but there were small moments I tried to include, such as Bumi making Aang an appa figurine, gesticulating a lot when he speaks, or comforting aang by cracking a joke, that I think i helped me show a shade of the colorful personality that we saw in the series, bc the readers seemed pleased by it.

whereas with aang, i could delve into his hurts and emotions more since it was from his POV. so it was little bit easier to characterize him.

oh and everybody in the comments loved the last line of my fic, where I allude to the time passed and lost while aang is stuck in the iceberg, hahahahaha. i was pretty proud of that one too,
