I would love to hear what your daily routine is: hobbies, skincare, interest, workout routines, what a day typically looks like for you, etc

typically my days are dictated by whatever "major" activity I have happening, say, classes, physical work, event, gathering, etc since usually they they have very different times, requirements, etc so general planning wouldn't work. If we take morning and evening routines they look a lot like

Wake up

Bible study (usually podcast as I drink my water, make my bed, open windows etc )

Pray, journal, check & update my to do list.

Take a walk / stretch / workout / [has to be outside my appt & as much as possible under the sun]

Shower & dress

Whatever activity waits [if no official activity then I'll probably watch a movie or read a book or meal prep or study or lazy around or whatever fits my fancy aka adhd. I'm pretty disorganized on days not centered around a major activity & I'm not capable of rest hehe)

I take my first calories / meal after 1 pm.

Night routine looks a lot like [roughly]

(Have my last calories before 9pm, usually. Ideally 8 but 9-10 works)

Listen to *usually Christian or neuroscience or psychology* podcast as I clean around (bc despite choosing my next day outfits I will leave my closet in a mess, one way or the other)

Finish up any leftover work from the day (usually work or study or project)

Update next day's to do list.

If it's past 2am, sleep. If not, pass time(books *fictional only* movies usually series etc) till its around 2am because I'm a raging insomniac that can't sleep for more than 4 hours :)

Hobbies:

Im indoorsy as they come. Reading. I'm a novel × Manga girl. Actual Manga nerd. Anime. Rarely movie / series. Usually on my free time I'm on kindle hooked on some thriller / mindf*ck book. Thats if it's raining or I'm in uni or work. If I can be outside I'll be bowling or swimming. My friends and communities take up most of my free time so probably at church or stuffed in one of our apartments doing whatever. On weekends I have dance classes , sign language and German. Now that I think of it I never have free time haha. Unless in a car or my place.

Skincare? Cleanser , toner , moisturizer (+SPF50, during day). That's it. Make up? Tattooed my eyeliner so I just rock with the lip gloss. I have great features idk what to say. Hair? Always in braids. Always. Always. Me and my ponytail against the world. I've been wearing the same bracelet, earrings and rings for probably a year now, only take them off for cleaning. And for events. Minimalism + I'm not really a fashion girlie. :). I get my nails done every month, it's ALWAYS black henna. & yes natural nails bc I'm God's favorite with the body + features he gave me.

Workout, I move, a lot. I don't have a workout routine between taking the stairs, walking to work and school & everywhere dance classes and ADHD level fidgeting I manage to stay fit.

Im a pretty boring person it seems :(.

Simplicity + minimalism + introvercy.

Just wanna drip by and say Incendiary has made itself a permanent resident in my brain.

Your writing is absolutely amazing, every scene got me gripping my seat in excitement. Seeing someone write a Pyro-focused long fic, let alone texas toast is so so so rare, I think I've only read 3 (including incendiary) that I've liked so far.

I love this little fire guy with all my heart, and I absolutely adore how you didn't make him too much like a child like how many mischaracterize him. There's the childlike wonder in him but he is capable when push comes to shove and I like that a lot! Every single characterizations in this fic is wonderful, I would love to give Engie a little kiss on his bald head.. he's so adorable.

I'm probably rambling but I just love this fic so much. I'm dealing with semester's midterms, stressed as all hell and this fic has been keeping me going. I practically cheered when I saw chapter 10 update in my inbox lmao. I would love to maybe make some fanart when I have the time, should I just tag you on this site?

This is the most grandest, heartfelt comment I think I've ever received in my entire writing career and my heart is GUSHING rn!!!! I was literally out running errands when I saw this and I couldn't stop thinking about it -

When I joined the TF2 fandom in like... oh god, 2014 I think, I was really shocked to see throughout the years that there weren't many Pyro-centered stories out there, which blew my mind. Like how could there not be a deluge of fanfic for Pyro, who is this extremely mysterious, multi-faceted character with so much room for interpretation?! When I first watched Meet the Pyro, I KNEW I had to write a novel about Pyro. Who they are, where they came from, and what happened to them before the events of the gravel war. Massively inspired, of course. But still nonetheless, an origin story that could very well be canon if squinted at, hehe.

This rings true for texas toast content, too!! There isn't a whole lot of it out there and it makes me so sad - I love their dynamic so much! When Incendiary is finished, I do plan on writing some more texas toast oneshots on my AO3 to fill that void. <3 One of the plans is to write a short story about their relationship during the gravel wars as well, that takes place after the events of Incendiary. (plus, Incendiary has only just started to crack the surface tension of the slow burn, and it's only a matter of 1-2 chapters away from when the texas toast really starts showing through so there is that to look forward too as well. (｡˃ ᵕ ˂ ))

also I literally hollered when I read your comment about Pyro's characterization in this story especially, because THAT is THE ONE THING I have been working so incredibly hard towards holy shit - when I tell you the amount of stories I've read that writes them off as this danger-child that needs supervision - which don't get me wrong is not an entirely bad thing!! they do have this massive childlike side to them, but there is also so much more to them than how the fandom perceives them, not taking into much consideration how they typically canonically act in the comics/in-game, and taking into LARGE consideration Meet the Pyro. I was reeling when I realized that a lot of people seemed to completely forget about that interview. I could go on a whole rant about this sdfghjkl but yes, Pyro is definitely more than capable when push comes to shove! they are in a war, after all ;)

and engineer, oh man. I love that soft Texan so much. :') I could talk your ear off about him too!

man I am definitely rambling now, but I literally cannot even express how genuinely happy I am receiving this message, it means the actual world to me. and FANART?!?! oh my god YES - you can definitely tag me here if you do make fanart for Incendiary!! I would be BEYOND honored omg

#also little fun fact about this story #It never actually started off as the novel I intended to write about pyro GASP #It was meant to be a bunch of texas toast oneshots #one in particular was going to be about Pyro working alongside engineer in his workshop #and how they created their own flamethrower that they canonically use in-game #but when I started expanding the plot around that #well that quickly spiraled out of control lol #and just very briefly on the topic of characterizations I will say #roswell is by far my favorite villain I've written #I took a lot of inspiration from strickland from the movie 'the shape of water'#that guy has got INTIMIDATION tactic on lock #chapter 12 will delve more in depth about director Roswell as a person and his goals and intentions and reasonings and all of that #and so you'll see why he does the things he does soon enough :)#also tysm again for dropping this comment I will literally gush over this for WEEKS

i do usually within the first two days! after that i tend to either get too busy and feel bad responding to comments super late or i just plain forget ;A; but i read every comment and they mean the absolute world to me!! i'm trying to get better at responding but it really isn't my strong suit.....

6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

this is a tie imo between the precipice from my skywalker palindrome series (i prommy i will upload another installment.....eventually), and Star Light, Star Bright (which is about apollo dreaming of clay while he's in the hospital for the courtroom bombing)

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

in my personal opinion it's gotta be No One Lives Forever, my deancas big bang - it was a labor of love, and also how much i wish certain plot lines could have been wrapped up more properly!

8. Do you get hate on fics?

occasionally i get a comment telling me they didn't expect my fics to be full of "gay shit" but i think those comments are mostly funny, like, bestie this is the gay shit fanfic website. but once in a while people will bookmark my fics with fairly negative comments/judgements and that's just like.......why make that public????

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

hehe. i love writing smut. idk what "kind" this would be but i tend to gravitate towards silly weird sweet kinda kinky sex???

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

i do write crossovers! i haven't in a while (unless you count mxtx novel crossovers which only half count imo LOL) but i think the craziest one i've ever posted is the star wars/animorphs one that is unfinished and will probably remain unfinished for a long time ;~;

i know i've definitely had elements of my fics show up in other people's work before but it's not something i keep track of these days, i don't have a lot of time to read fic ^^;; however a few months ago i did find some podcasters had read my fic aloud and commented on it and put it up on the free tier of their patreon??? they said really nice things about it which was a shocker but i feel my insides curdling whenever someone reads my ao3 username out loud HAHAHA

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

i have had them translated a few times! i think pros and cons has a translation or two floating around, and i thiiink? some fics from skywalker palindrome have been translated? i know someone asked and it took me a few days to reply to tell them yes (again, terrible at replying, that's my bad)

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

not exactly a singular fic but i love co-writing series together with my bestie!!!

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

if i HAD to pick one, i guess i'd say....the straight up 10k of twilight au moshang i have hiding in my google docs. maybe i will just post what i have and leave it at that one day because that was a lot of work to never share it LMFAO

dialogue, visual description, characterization

FINISHING THE DAMN THING. both in terms of actually sticking to a fic long enough to finish it, and also the concept of endings as a whole.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

i don't think i've personally done it, but if i needed to i'd like to make sure it's accurate, readable, and translatable for someone who doesn't read the language.

19. First fandom you wrote for?

i actually can get a link to it if fanfic dot net is still working!! (spoiler alert: it is...for now!)

anyways, the first fic i wrote/published was for the lost boys. it hardly counts as a fic bc it's more like a meme that was going around at the time on ff.net, which was a "you've seen [x media] way too many times if...!" list of in-jokes. here it is. and if you want to look at some of my other extremely old stuff i wrote over ten years ago, be my guest i guess! fair warning a lot of it is not great!

20. Favorite fic you've written?

i know this is cheating but i have to say i think my favorite fic i've worked on is the skywalker palindrome as a whole. it's a series of fics but they work together to tell a story that remains an open-ended tragedy. we know where anakin ends up. luke knows who anakin becomes. and it seems like nothing luke can do will turn anakin away from that path. this is the rare situation where i actually have a very clear idea of how it all ends, and i just need to write my way there - which is going to take quite a while QAQ

Game you keep coming back to?

Ensemble stars- Jokes aside, I've actually come back to a few games which range to Code Vein (recent special place in my heart) and certain kirby games!

Unfinished w.i.p. you want to go back to?

This is gonna sound very weird but I have currently two old w.i.ps I wanna go back to:

One is a kingdom AU in which basically Emperor Shu (!!!). The main plot is how he has this war with a rebellion (consisting of Eichi and co.) and loses the war. Instead of killing Shu, Eichi leaves him alive to see how his kingdom is against him, basically, just made him lose everything and need to survive with a kingdom in which half want him dead you feel? During the war, he loses someone important, which brings him to go to a gravesite a lot, bringing lillies to a grave, making those who see him, name him the Gravekeeper of the White Lillies. SINCE THIS IS ME WE ARE TALKING ABOUT, I originally made it to be a super self indulgent, self-insert thing you know? So the idea was that there was MC that also went to the gravesite, losing someone important to the war as well. Shu and MC bond over the.. quite morbid scene but, Shu finally found someone that, didn't kill him first in and wanted to be a friend. Until MC, talked more about the person they lost, blaming the emperor of this land for failing to protect the people. If only they knew that said emperor, was right beside them.

The other fic is just erm... well you know my horror au thing? Imagine that but it's an otome............ I wrote it as a joke and I want to continue it- It first started with a visual novel that has actual art and now also a random fic it's... something else

Any strange dreams that stuck with you for a long time?

Summary if you don't want to read: imagine some weird game like dream in which I try to fist fight an eldritch horror but can't so I fight undead instead and fail. oh and Shu is my companion in all this.

TOTALLY, this dream is old, like... I have no idea how I still remember it but it's around like a year+ ago and I'm... super forgetful THATS WHY I WROTE IT DOWN :DDD BUT I'll try to be short.

Basically the dream was some sort of game... timeloop thing. I was a character that kinda, could reload into "past saves" and stuff (4th wall break much?). Everytime you would go back in time (reload a save) you would forget what happened in the future. WHICH ONLY MADE IT THAT YOU WOULD DO THE SAME MISTAKE but I guess I was smart in this dream I DUNNO.

There was this tunnel where different portals to worlds would open and I would need to go through it (YOU CAN TELL THIS IS LIKE A GAME)

The first world was a school where I was this group of people that were like the power rangers. Most had been saved except one.

The second was a cinderella like world, in which I had to blend in as one of the dancers for N/A reason (I DON'T REMEMBER). It would continue like that the adventure.

There were worlds in between as well, like one where I was followed by this man that would say my every move (If you know Twisted Wonderland, imagine Crowley but his clothes are white).

At some point, I met a companion that would stay with me during the whole rest of the dream. He was proud but reserved. (So Shu Itsuki) During the rest of the dream it was like the subplot of getting closer with the companion.

I showed the companion the hub and showed how at the end of the tunnel there was this hole with like... the stereotypical forbidden language whispers and dark aura YOU KNOW VILLAIN LAIR™ IT WAS LIKE an evil god... casual horrors like cthulhu or something.

Apparently, I went there a lot(?) to see the hole and so my companion was like we have to move. There is someone coming this way. So we went to the next portal that was this dungeon-like place. We were in an elevator going down (THE USUAL I SUPPOSE).

Turns out, this was a dungeon in which UNDEAD resided.

I tried to attack them face on but then Rei (?) stopped me and went nah, let's play fair. He told me how there were many trials in this dungeon, if I beat them all, then I can fight him. AND I JUST, AGREED.

The place was ridden in traps and all of our past friends that we helped along the journey was there. The challenge was to get through the place, alive, and with them as well.

WELL APPARENTLY THE OLD FOLK I HELPED ARE IDIOTS AND WELL activated all the traps :')

I casually got ARROW'ED and my companion caught me before I could fall.

Imagine this whole sob fest because turns out the arrow was poisoned and so I told companion to go continue without me. Companion relunctantly left and THEN I WOKE UP.
