to be fair, I don't think qroier not trusting qbad is particularly new haha. i think it's been going on for a while even before purgatory. the only thing purgatory did with that particularly relationship is it gave qroier an excuse to be more vocal in his annoyance

I agree with the read that Roier didn’t particularly trust Bad before, but I think that at a baseline, Roier doesn’t have much trust with most anyone to begin with. I think everything that had happened with Spreen back in the beginning of the server is something that is a large cause in that, because its still something he is suffering from months later - it’s just in true Roier fashion, it’s something he doesn’t really talk about to others. He’s only recently shared it and talked about it with Cellbit.

But even then, he had a respect for Bad. When the eggs first went missing, and they were both visibly affected by the stress, they had moments of somewhat acknowledging the other, but sticking to the script of “oh I’m fine” yknow what I mean? And before purgatory, yeah, there was no doubt that Bad cared for the eggs, and could be trusted in that regard.

But post Purgatory, I think that baseline trust has been shaken. He doesn’t let Bad see Pepito when he visited the castle, makes excuses for him to leave, and then afterwards talks to himself about how he’s angry that everyone seems to have forgotten Purgatory (both in the context that he also doesn’t trust Pepito, and he doesn’t want Bad coming up to him as if the past two weeks didn’t happen). When Leo wakes up, and Bad is around trying to talk with them, he makes a point of pulling her away. Of putting himself between Leo and Bad. And it’s in the subtle, usual jesting way he’s done before with Bad (“you can only drink lava once yknow. sure, try it, I’m not going though!” and “stranger danger Leo, stranger danger!” etc etc. said with enough dramatics it keeps it lighthearted, because that’s what Roier does).

I don’t think Roier is actively thinking he should mistrust Bad with the eggs specifically. I don’t think that he thinks Bad doesn’t care about the eggs. I just think he hasn’t fully trusted Bad before, and now since Purgatory he doesn’t trust him at all, for good reason - Bad was very much an instigator and a cause for both his own torment and his family’s (Jaiden namely, what with the spawn killing, and Cellbit, Foolish). It’s no longer a ‘this guy is a thorn in my side and I don’t trust him’ kinda petty drama between islanders. It’s a ‘this guy went back on the deal to keep the score 50/50 and did so under the impression we as the losing team could die’ kind of situation. A ‘we spent the past few weeks in hell and this guy repeatedly not only killed, but went over the top in tormenting my family and myself, I don’t trust him’ kind of situation. It’s not an excuse to be petty or properly annoyed, it’s a result of how Bad burned all his bridges in purgatory. It’s in large part a trauma response.

It doesn’t matter that Bad has never once been a threat to Leo, that he’s taken care of her multiple times, that he has always checked in with the eggs and cared for them - it matters that Leo is his sister, that Pepito is under his care, and he Does Not Trust Bad.

Here’s something interesting about the strip club interrogation: q!Roier knows that q!Quackity is innocent. He knows because he’s Quackity’s therapist, and because he’s purposefully let Quackity think that they’re friends, but they aren’t. Roier has been planning his revenge for weeks, biding his time, and yesterday was the perfect opportunity.

The eggs calmed things down a little. Roier didn’t actively talk about revenge as much outside of torture chamber construction. But here’s what he said to Quackity before the eggs even arrived, he said that Quackity would be his own downfall and that Roier would be watching the whole time. And Roier has been.

Roier started his psychology office to get gossip, and Quackity was one of his patients. He basically proved his innocence in that session, which Roier knows. He knows that Quackity isn’t actually going to kill any eggs because Quackity has told him as much.

But that doesn’t mean that Roier can’t take advantage of the situation, does it? Quackity is a desperate and grieving father here, and everyone is wary of him, especially now with the news that the eggs are all going to die and with people becoming worried about the Federation.

He tells q!Wilbur that Quackity wants the eggs dead. After that, Wilbur is especially unwilling to allow Quackity even near Tallulah. Roier helps Quackity and Gegg destroy Tallulah’s area and he gets away with it, Quackity being the only one to really get in any serious trouble because of it. Tallulah can’t see Quackity anymore “for her safety”, and that’s probably what Roier wanted because he knows just how much Quackity loves her. They destroyed her home just moments after Quackity admitted that he saw Tallulah as a daughter. Roier tells other fathers that Quackity is dangerous at the school, and they agree. And who would doubt Roier? He’s a good father and a good friend. He’s the babysitter. He flirts with everyone. Why wouldn’t you trust such a nice guy?

Quackity is alone.

And now in the interrogation, Roier stays silent as Quackity is essentially manipulated into a confession while drunk. Quackity is going to trial, and he’s going to lose.

Roier admitted it himself later in that stream, this was just part of his revenge against Quackity. He wants to see Quackity miserable. He wants him to feel as desperate as Roier did when he was betrayed by him, and Roier probably won’t stop until Quackity has dug his own grave and lied in it.

He said that Quackity would be the one to ruin himself, and, really, is he wrong? To everyone but Roier and his audience, it does look like this is all Quackity’s fault. Even Quackity probably thinks so.

If this is the beginning of Roier’s plans against Quackity, the guy who didn’t even kill him, it’s gonna be rough seeing what he does to Spreen.

YESSS omg so many interesting dynamic

Ramon turning up on Blue with Fit brings us Dapper and Ramon being the frenemies ever (they lovehate each other)

And also Dapper would somehow get into all the higher ups meetings, and him and Tubbo would have the funniest beef ever /affectionate. It’s like every meeting Tubbo plays the game how to find Dapper’s new hidy hole before everything especially important and serious is revealed. He is a good sport about it though if Dapper finds an especially good way to sneak in and hide.

Em, Pepito and Sunny as the youngest are the most protected ones, and often they ended up spending nights together in a cuddle pile under so so many blankets. Tubbo often falls asleep next to them in an armchair which he is reprimanded about by Pac and Tina each time.

Tilin would be so on edge when they get there with Quackity, especially because Bobby, Jaiden and Roier all end up on Red. I think she might be the one to run away.

Pomme, Richas and Dapper would have secret meetings, whenever they can.

Tallulah can’t help but like Tubbo, but she despises Sunny when they first meet. Hard to say why. Meanwhile Chayanne not only adores Tubbo in his own way (despite being very loyal to pa Phil and the kingdom), but also actually finds Sunny cool and funny. He can’t show it outwardly though to not upset Tallulah. But he does sneak his cooking (mainly happiness cookies) to Sunny as gifts when he has a chance.

Bobby and Richas miss each other so much. Maybe Pomme actually takes Bobby as well to her meet ups with Dapper and Richas sometimes.

I don’t know how, but I think there should be something with Roier and Pepito. Maybe Bolas kidnapping Pepito for some reason? And Roier is forced to take care of the kid hostage (they don’t hurt Pepito or give Pepito basic necessities and care because a) Pepito is a child b) Pepito is an important hostage for political reasons).

Rivers would teach the kids sword fighting. Forever and Niki would teach them stuff like geography and literature and languages whenever they can (most of the people will more or less participate in their teaching, but those two the most because they are the best at it).

Bolas do not believe in academics. Forever was green kids’ teacher before as well, but he did have much less time for it because of the more workload.

Pierre works on building robots for all the kids. Just in case.

I think Sunny and Tilin would become unexpected friends while Tilin is still with Blue (in the storyline where he runs away. If Tilin stays, they are still friends).

Empanada and Chayanne have a recipe exchange. This is their only communication – sending each other recipes as letters.

Trump might run away to Blue. I don’t know why, but I think it might happen.

I will say that Bolas would have academics but it would be MUCH different then what the green kids are used to. What they learned of their solarpunk style tech and magic is instead replaced with lessons on rituals and how to run the bolas technology. They teach the kids how best to use a new magic, one that runs on fire and blood, and some take to it like water while others ademently refuse to learn this stuff.

and the kids sometimes becoming hostages would def be an issue, it's why Bad is so protective of dapper, what better way for them to get to him then through his kid?

So when Pepito is taken by Bolas? I think Bad would have to be held back from literally causing a disaster, he wouldn't focus, he'd be SO angry that it takes multiple people to snap him out of it without causing an earthquake or the volcano to erupt. Also the night crew all meeting up for meetings im soooo :(, they probably wouldn't tell anyone cause much like his dad Dapper is paranoid, he'd definitely not allow anyone like Cheyanne find out or even some of the younger kids who might tattle on them to Tubbo. And Dapper trying to listen in is sooooo wahhhh, Him and Ramon becoming x2 sneaky when they're together and it takes everyone searching the room to find them before any meetings. Tubbo thinks they're very smart but should not be listening in on the serious issues surrounding this intense war. Negotiations can get...heated...to say the least. * Mainly referred to as slime but close friends (Wilbur, Philza, etc.) almost exclusively call him Charlie

* He makes up slime related words a lot and will just make random noises

* Makes up songs a lot/ will replace lyrics of existing songs to whatever he finds situationally appropriate/ funny

* Does both goofy humor where he laughs at himself/ along with others and dry humor where he plays everything totally straight

* “Yarf/ I’m gonna yarf” (throw up)

* Doesn’t use emoticons in messages, no caps unless it’s the full word for emphasis, single messages with punctuation if needed (chat example: “we won the war. (qsmp)” vod 35:45 you can see his chat history with Foolish)

* He has a really extensive vocabulary and when making jokes will always switch up the phrasing/ use synonyms so as to not say the same words repeatedly

* He will make jokes to himself/ quietly and if no one heard it then he might repeat it once more but never more than that

* He makes himself the butt of the joke a lot, especially with new people. Only when he’s super close friends with someone will he makes jokes about them

* Literally king of the bit. Will take any opportunity to continue a bit or make a new one (breaking Roier’s windows, calling Phil old, getting “stuck” in the ghost maze)

* Mf is both easily distracted and laser focused, often at the same time and rarely aware of his surroundings

* He almost never responds to being hit when people are trying to get his attention, especially if he’s having a conversation with someone else (in general if he’s having a one on one convo with someone he’s practically blind to anyone else)

* Doesn’t move around when talking to the point that someone may leave his view and it might take a few seconds for him to move to see them again

* Despite being highly social he doesn’t like interacting with large groups that have multiple conversations going on (most likely cause it’s hard for him to pull focus) - he’ll often ask others to step to the side

* He’s isn’t super knowledgeable about minecraft so isn’t aware of a lot of mechanics. He plays almost exclusively to hang out with people and doesn’t enjoy doing things alone

* Is an alcoholic and self harms (uses a taser to electrocute himself when he feels sad… which is often)

* Loves his family more than anything and actively talks about how much he misses them every time he streams

* Fights with Mariana are more humor based - like what’s the most absurd thing that can be said

* Repeats eggs’ names a lot when talking to them

* There’s natural gas in his mine that makes him hallucinate and forget things

Been getting a lot of asks about this post and some other things so it’s time to break out the read more again to address it

1) The post is about tumblr and twitter(didn’t deep dive on twitter but I did still see some when I went to check qsmp updates) but it’s not about only the Roier mains. It’s also about the other mains specifically bbh, forever and cellbit mains who have only really taken it at face value(therefor not really considering any of Roier’s other rp/lore). Those are the takes I have seen talking about it yet never spoke about their qcharacter doing abusive actions to their children when they had good mental stability.

2) I’m not saying don’t speak about it, but those who suddenly have an opinion because it’s physical abuse when they didn’t speak about the other types of abuse need to take a step back. Because at the end of the day you need to either represent abuse fully as it is or remember that this is minecraft rp and not everything in the real world will translate to minecraft. Because some of things you’re talking about aren’t as serious as you’re making them to be; if they were Pepito would genuinely be hiding from Roier.

3) I’m not excusing it and it’s definitely not a black and white abuse situation and Roier isn’t a full blown abuser. Some of the things Roier is doing is outdated but that’s by mostly genz terms and part of it is being a result of your circumstances, that’s all I’ll say cause there are takes I do and don’t agree with. But I’m not talking about it any further because the entire situation with Roier’s lore/trauma with Bobby and then receiving Pepito without Jaiden, hits too close to home for my liking(so you can fill in the blanks)

4) You can interpret the situation any way you like, I’m not trying to dictate that. But I’m trying to say you do have to be mindful when comparing irl abuse to minecraft rp abuse. Especially when using the word abuser over abusive actions for someone suffering from mental health issues and isn’t of full sound mind(this isn’t excusing but when you do say it, it reads into the all mentally ill people are abusers stigma)

5) For the stuff not about the post, which is a big side note but I keep getting asks about this: I am lucky enough to be able to watch multiple qsmp streams. Although I don’t know everything all the time, I do try to keep updated on the lore of others. Surprisingly I don’t just post /neg all the time and I really enjoy Foolish, Jaiden, Slime, Fit and Tina’s streams so I’m gonna post about them the most. I do love keeping up with multiple qsmp streamers lore but I’m not able to watch their streams all the time. Also I don’t hate cc!bad((I actually used to mainly watch him in 2018-2020) I do hate the way he argues, which is a me thing, and I hate some people he’s friends with but I can’t hold that against him when talking about his characters). I do just think his character should be receiving consequences from the people he does hurt, but that is up to the cc doing rp with him and I’m allowed to critique his character that comes with the media installed. Along with that fact, I do think he needs to practice more positive metagaming with others because his idea of fun isn’t always the same as others and can come of as a little disrespectful to some viewers who don’t know him which is why I think he receives a lot of hate.
