"Ian Is The Reason Dennis Is Dead!"
Monday 7th September 2020
Good evening everyone and what an exciting night it is!!! EastEnders is back on our screens tonight!  It's been a good few months since the soap has been on our screens. Tonight it's finally back, even though the time has been reduced from 30 minutes to 20 minutes, it doesn't matter! Our favourite characters will be back and the story-lines will be able to continue, so many answers will be given and so many secrets revealed!
But before we delve into the excitement of tonight's episode, i'm sure the majority of you have been made aware of the news regarding the beautiful Chantelle Atkins. For those of you who might've missed it somehow, EastEnders have announced that poor Chantelle will pass away due to domestic violence at the hands of her husband, Gray.
Tumblr media
Since Chantelle and Gray appeared on the Square, they portrayed the perfect family! Two successful people working brilliant jobs, with two beautiful children and on the outside, it looked as if they lived a very happy life! But little do the Walford residents know that behind closed doors, poor Chantelle has been the target of domestic abuse from her husband. Taking beatings and beatings and suffering in silence. None of her close friends or family are aware of what is happening in their family home when no one else is around. Gray appears to have nasty temper on him, and he takes it out on his wife. EastEnders have announced the passing of Chantelle before the soap reappears on our screens due to the fact that the next few episodes will be quite harrowing, as viewers will see Chantelle attempt to escape and leave her husband. Jessica Plummer's last appearance as Chantelle will be on the 18th September. I believe both Jessica Plummer and Toby-Alexander Smith's performance as Chantelle and Gray have been phenomenal! It's a very sensitive issue to portray, but in all seriousness ... this does happen to people every single day, and unfortunately - due to the lock-down, some people are suffering in silence, being victims of domestic abuse and being attacked at their home day after day. I, for one will be devastated to see Chantelle be killed off, but I do feel it's a very important issue and it's fantastic of EastEnders to be raising awareness of such vicious acts of cruelty. What the big questions I want to ask now are, what will happen in the aftermath? Will Gray be found out? How will the Taylor family react to the passing of Chantelle? Will Gray go to deep lengths to hide the truth from his family and neighbours? I'm sure many fans were always hoping that Chantelle would find a way to speak up and ask for help or eventually escape Gray, but sadly in Chantelle's case, it will never be that way. I applaud the cast and story writers who took part in this story-line, it's a big subject and it's needs to be spoken about openly, more and more, and if anyone who views this story-line, who is currently in Chantelle's situation, hopefully they'll get the courage to speak out and/or seek help to escape. --- Now, shall we focus on tonight's episode? I don't know about you lot but I've been really looking forward to the day EastEnders came back on air! And it certainly came back with a bang!! Ahhh it felt so good to hear that theme tune again!! Brilliant!!
Awww and what a brilliant opening, Ian looking all smug and proud, putting the Queen Vic bust back on the counter. Quick question ... where the hell did he get that from?! I'm assuming it's something that could've been replaced, but me - being naive, honestly thought that the old Queen Vic bust which sank during the anniversary episodes, was one of a kind! Clearly - obviously not! Oh gosh ... look at all those photos of Ian and Sharon being landlords of the Vic! Makes a nice realistic touch, don't you guys think? Clearly, Ian has been making himself at home at the Vic during lock-down! Oooh it does look as if Ian and Dotty still have daggers for each other, Dotty's case has come up after Ian grassed her up to the police about selling some form of drugs at the club and they both appear to be going to court together. Dotty is NOT going to keep quiet for long, she will soon tell Sharon all about the secrets Ian has been hiding form her regarding her son, Dennis. Dotty must've been finding it so hard to watch Ian and Sharon together in the Vic, the secret must be eating her up to the core!
Is it just me, or is Chantelle looking very fragile? She's very shaky, nervous ... it looks as if while she's been in lock-down, she's had nothing but abuse from Gray. It looks as if she's looking to divorce her husband and get away as soon as she can! Watching this, knowing what is going to happen in a couple of episodes time, I'm already feeling worried and scared for her. She's made things perfectly clear that she wants to the divorce to be quick and easy. Gray will still be able to see his children and they'll be living near by. This is something that does worry me, will Gray find out about her wanting a divorce and lash out? She's been told that a divorce could be incredibly expensive. Is she going to be able to afford what she needs to be able to go ahead? I know I am asking all sorts of questions, but with this being the first episode back, there are so many things that could happen with each and every story! Plus it feels like it's been so long since we've seen these characters, it feels so good to have them back again! Will Chantelle be able to open up to Kheerat before it's too late! Suki has already informed him that Gray was the one who put him up to Trading Standards, could there be some kind of conversation to come between Chantelle and Kheerat where he'll confront her about Gray's behaviour, and could she finally be able to tell him how Gray actually treats her?! You can see the fear in Chantelle's eyes as she enters her house and Gray comes to approach her from the stairs, already questioning her where she has been. When he reached into her bag I was worried he was going to pull out some form of paperwork regarding a divorce, but instead he's putting a tracker on her phone, to keep an eye on her. Chantelle clearly isn't happy about this, but sadly, there's nothing she can say. Gray is controlling and is wanting to keep an eye on her every move, he's frustrated as he has been put on furlough from his job, so he has also been stuck in the house while his children have gone back to school and Chantelle working also. How is Chantelle going to be able to escape Gray now he's put a tracker on her phone? Gosh, I just want to hold her and tell her she can escape from this! She later approaches Kheerat, telling him he's the only one she can trust and asks him for the money for her divorce, even though she can't tell him what it's for. But of course she feels guilty for asking after finding out her husband was the one who called up Trading Standards on Kheerat's company. I really do think Chantelle will tell him something, if not everything, but something before she sadly passes away. Kheerat will do everything he can to get justice for Chantelle!
Oh Ballum!!!! Gosh I almost forgot about Ballum!!! Ha! Ben's hair has surely grown ... of course so had millions of other men's hair during lock-down! I love how happy they both appear to be able to see each other. Oh, is Ben going to ask Callum to move in?! IS THAT GOING TO BE A THING?! Haha is anyone feeling really proud of Callum? Is he now an official police officer? When he stopped that thief and stated "I'm a police officer! You're nicked!" I just felt a little sense of pride! God bless his little soul! Oh and look at him in his police gear!!! He looks SO good!!!!! I can't get over how manly he's become, I know that's a bit pathetic to say ... but we've seen him become a real man, come to terms with his sexuality and now he's followed his dreams and become a Police Officer, with the support of his boyfriend. Callum is eager to get his job done so he can go to the hospital with Ben, needless to say his colleagues aren't aware that he's gay, but in all honesty ... it's none of their business really. But I do have a feeling that eventually it will come to their attention, and as soon as they realise who Callum's partner is, his job could be at risk, even before it's started! Ooooh noooo, Callum is going to figure out what Ben did, while he is sat looking through the CCTV footage that he's been given, Ben slowly appears onto the screen. This would've been when he and Phil went after Danny and his money during this job that was meant to happen. How is Callum going to approach this with Ben? Am I right in thinking that Ben lied to him and told him he had nothing to do with it, but of course, the CCTV tells otherwise.
Ahhh okay, so Linda has revealed that Sharon has renamed her son "Albie" ... Honestly, I think I preferred Kayden, but each to their own! Awww both Mick and Linda are adjusting to their life out of the Queen Vic. It looks as if Mick has some kind of interview or something the way he has dressed smartly with his waistcoat. Linda has been working in the cafe as a cleaner from the looks of it, while Mick has been home-schooling Ollie. It's going to be so weird not seeing them behind the Queen Vic bar, but I'm sure we'll get used to them being out in the community in a much different way.
Sharon seems really happy where she is, she is back in her home to be honest! She grew up in the pub, it's only right that she brings up her child where she spent her childhood. It's only when she sees the Queen Vic pub, she stops in her tracks and goes silent. Has Ian made the right decision in ordering a second Queen Vic bust? Or is it something that is going to haunt Sharon, knowing it sank where her son lost his life? It's questionable.
Oh I am so happy to see Kat back!!! Is it going to be revealed why she left? We know Jessie Wallace was suspended, but what was the reason for Kat to depart the Square? Is this going to made known? Oh and soon as she spots Ruby and Martin together, she's doing what Kat does best and sticking up for her family! Are Ruby and Martin now an item? Have they decided to become official while during lockdown together? It's been revealed that Martin has had the time of his life living with Ruby, but also she has kept secret from him that she has been having money problems due to the club being closed. When Stacey returns, she is going to be such a shock when she learns about Ruby and Martin, I already am kind of feeling sorry for her.
When Ian and Dotty are back from the court, Ian is just slightly poking at Dotty more and more, saying that she should thank him for changing his statement, or even buy him a drink. You can see it's slowly eating her upside, how much she's desperate for him to have his comeuppance. She's made it clear now that she's not going to prison, what is to stop her from telling Sharon the truth now? What other threats could he throw at her? It's only when Sharon approaches in dismay asking whether any of Dennis's things had been returned from the police that Ian goes all scares. Ahh so, the Queen Vic bust is actually the original, from what I understand, it was recovered from the accident and sent back to the Vic where it belongs! (And there's me thinking it was a brand new one!) Later when Dotty is sat on Albert's bench, Bobby approaches her saying that she must be thankful for his Dad to help her out of the situation. But she makes a slight dig at Ian, saying that her father, Nick Cotton, was more like Mother Theresa compared to him! Which, Bobby can't seem to understand, he can't understand why Dotty enjoys slagging him off, but she makes a fair point that Nick never coward behind someone else and he always accepted who he was and took everyone else how they were. It's then she claims that she just like her father and is proud for what she stands for and believes in. She makes her way into the Vic just as Ian and Sharon are clearing the air about things being returned to the Vic, this is when the climax comes, what viewers have been waiting for for months! Ian getting his comeuppance and Sharon finding out the truth about how her boy died. Dotty goes on to say that people deserve to know the truth about how their loved ones die, Ian trying to worm his way out of the conversation, maybe trying to change the conversation and say it's not right to upset Sharon ... then she comes out with it, "He's the reason Dennis died! He locked him in the cabin on the boat and that's why he drowned!"
Ian's eyes look frantic from Dotty to Sharon, Sharon face in absolute disbelief that he dearest friend could've done something so cruel to her and not said anything, kept the absolute worst secret from her. Dotty's words ringing in her ears. Is Ian going to worm his way out of it and claim Dotty doesn't know what she's talking about? Or is Sharon going to demand answers from Ian! What an absolute brilliant ending to first episode back on air! It's true tomorrow's episode is going to be just as gripping! What was your opinion on tonight's episode? I personally thought it was brilliant! So many things happening and I can't wait to see them all unravel. I am so glad to be back posting as well, I know it's been a long time and I know I've only done one post a week - if that - but I hope you'll all enjoy my blog now EastEnders is back and better than ever! I'll be back either tomorrow or Wednesday following up tomorrow's episode. Goodnight everyone and enjoy the rest of your night xXx

"Another Tea?"
Friday 29th January 2021
Hello again everyone! I'm sure the majority of us are floating on clouds after Ballum finally got engaged! It really was a beautiful episode, wasn't it? I'm really intrigued to see what's going to follow in this episode. Will it show Phil and Kathy's reaction? I'm kind of hoping so! But obviously, there's more than just Ballum's engagement going on! Let's jump straight into it!
Firstly, I am quite surprise to notice that Ben and Callum aren't even in this episode! But the one person who is close to them who is in this episode is Lola! Of course she found out about Honey and Jay's secret romance before they could come clean to Billy. It's quite sad as in this episode, after learning the truth about Honey and Jay, Billy is sat on his own in the café, it looks as if he's still struggling to come to terms with what he's learnt. Lola finds him and asks him to sign a card for Ben and Callum. He claims that he's simply not in the mood, which I guess is fair enough. Unfortunately, Jay slowly follows behind, Lola doesn't seem to respond but Billy can't seem to hold in his anger. As much as Jay tries to apologise, Billy simply has none of it and takes it upon himself inform Lola about what's been happening, unbeknown to him that she already knows. As Billy informs her and pretty much the rest of the cafe about Jay and Honey's infidelity, Lola tries to plead to her "Pops" not to. Eventually it comes pretty clear to Billy that his Granddaughter already knew, this is another huge blow for Billy and he walks out, completely and utterly broken. Later on when Billy is back on his stall, not really having the best of times, Lola approaches him to try and build bridges for her dishonesty, but its looks as if Billy feels like everyone is against him, everyone has lied and turned their backs on him. Jay overhears the commotion and for a second time tries to approach Billy in an attempt to apologise or explain, but of course Billy isn't interested in anything he has to say. I understand that Billy is angry and devastated but to be fair, what he said to Jay was completely out of order I feel, what do you guys think? Accusing Jay of being with his Granddaughter, now his ex-wife - making the disgusting statement that he'll be after Janet next after his record. (Most of you will remember that Jay was given a criminal record for sleeping with a girl who was not the age she claimed to be, unfortunately ending up with him being on the sex offenders list!). As Jay tries to defend himself, he's responded with a huge punch from Billy, to which both Lola and Honey witnessed. Leaving Jay in a heap on the floor, Billy walks away. Do we think that because of this betrayal, it's going to cause Billy to go on a really dark downward spiral? I personally think it's been a very long time since Billy has been given a really gripping storyline, maybe this will be the moment that will give Perry Fenwick a chance to shine!
Meanwhile in other parts of the Square, Mick is trying to fix a toy for Ollie, a toy he's been promising to fix for a quite a while apparently. As Linda joins him, she states how proud she is of her husband for going to the police. However, it looks as if Mick is worried about how it's made him feel as a man. He claims that all he wants to be is a good Dad and a good husband, and everything that he's been going through has made him feel like he's just a victim. It looks as if he's fearing that that image of him will now never go away once everyone has heard about his abuse. However, later on as Mick and little Ollie are sat together in the apartment, little Ollie notifies his Dad that he's just seen a huge rat scurrying across the floor. I did find this scene incredibly cute and funny, especially when Mick informed Linda that they have a "Tom and Jerry situation!" As Ollie and Linda stand upon the furniture, Mick leaps into action and finds a way to catch the rat/mouse. I don't know why but something tells me that Linda was behind it, or it could've been a very small coincidence, but Linda still compliments her husband that he'll always be their hero, no matter what! Knowing this seems to give Mick a huge confidence boost! Do you think he'll start to slowly get his life back on track?!
The next thing I have to mention is Whitney and Gray! Oooooo I think it's been said for a long time that Whitney and Gray would become a couple, it's perfectly obvious that feelings are beginning to build between them! It's revealed to us that the night Whitney decided to stay for tea with Gray and his children, actually ended up with her and Gray sharing two bottles of wine and her crashing out on the sofa! Gray offers Whitney to stay for breakfast, but it's pretty clear he's gone all out to impress her - buying all sorts of gorgeous pastries for breakfast. Even though Whitney is touched by his offer, it's only when Mack sees her and asks whether she's saying, that she actually agrees. As they both go about their day, Shirley notifies Gray that he found Whitney's earring and acknowledges that something is going on between them, however Gray insists that they're just good friends and Whitney is simply a childminder, nothing more. But something tells me that Shirley isn't convinced, she questions the possibility that perhaps it's a bit too soon for him to be moving on and he's still grieving for Chantelle. This next section completely surprised me, Gray makes his way into the living room and pulls out a type of scrapbook, as he looks through it, there are tons of pictures of him, Chantelle and the children. Does this perhaps bring Gray back down to Earth? He takes it upon himself to pick up some flowers to take to the cemetery, only popping to grab himself a coffee on the way. But what takes a massive turn is when he sees on old colleague, passing on their condolences. This seems to grab Gray's attention pretty quickly, questioning how they knew Chantelle, but when it comes clear that Chantelle had approached him in an attempt to get away from her husband, Gray's attitude takes a massive U-turn, returning home and completely destroying the scrapbook, chucking all the pictures away in the bin. However he doesn't quite get rid of the flowers. Later on, Whitney calls over in response to Gray's urgent message - however as things are looking more calmer than she expected, Gray offers her another glass of wine. At first she seems really reluctant, but suddenly feels obliged when Gray has a drink himself. Eyeing up the flowers on the table, Whitney questions Gray whether he was thinking of going to the cemetery, but interestingly, he notifies her that flowers are actually in fact for her. Suddenly he drops the bombshell that she should move in, this completely takes Whitney by surprise. Gray's words continue as he announces that they have something special and states that they can both sense it. At first, Whitney seems to shrug it off and claims that he's still grieving, but as soon as she mentions Chantelle's name, Gray tells her to "Sssshhh!" almost as if he doesn't want to hear her name!  - Is Whitney really going to start a relationship with Gray? Will she agree and move in with him? What do you guys think? Will Whitney end up being the one who sees Gray for who he really is? What will the Square think of their new relationship?
Finally, Lucas has moved back officially onto the Square. After discussions with Denise and Jack, Jack has agreed to give Lucas one of his flats. The only reason being is so Denise can keep an eye on her daughter and make sure she's safe. As soon as Lucas and Chelsea arrive on the Square, Chelsea offers to treat her Dad to some food, however Lucas's eyes a very suspicious as she pulls out a huge wad of cash as she pays the taxi driver. The first thought that comes to our minds is "Where the hell did she get that money?!" - What the heck is Chelsea up to? For some reason, I do think this episode shed a bit more light on what Chelsea was involved in. As Lucas and Chelsea wait for Jack to show up to show them Lucas's new apartment, we can see a hooded figure sat in a car, watching them from a distance. Was this the person who was behind the attack on Lucas? Eventually the hooded figure seems to plant a package quite a distance away by the market, Chelsea clicks on to the package and informs her Dad that she's going to grab them some coffee's. However as soon as Chelsea leaves, Lucas watches his daughter pick up the package that has been left. My first thought is "Is she dealing drugs?" - it would make perfect sense! The money? The secrecy? The packages? What else could it be? Later on when Jack returns from showing Lucas the apartment, Lucas spots the hooded figure and hurries to approach him in the car, acting completely calm and collected, he informs him that he knows Chelsea, dropping hints that he's been made aware of only some of the "Plans" which are going ahead. Interestingly, the bloke takes Lucas's words for it and informs him that Chelsea has been given passports and money, once they get to their destination they're meant to be bringing as much gear as they can carry, back. This makes me think, is Chelsea involved in drug smuggling?! Later when Lucas catches up with his daughter, she asks whether she liked the apartment that Jack showed him. Of course he seems a little distracted, but then she drops the bombshell that to give her Dad something to look forward to, she's planned a holiday for him and her to go to Ibiza! Of course we can see that Lucas puts on a front, informing his daughter that he's thrilled at the idea, but deep down, he knows that it's not a holiday he'll be going on.
Do you think my suspicion is correct? Could Chelsea drag her Father into a drug smuggling scandal and perhaps frame him? Or would she take a trip to Ibiza and leave him there? I genuinely have no other idea what it could be except for drugs. It makes sense doesn't it, really? Please let me know what you guys think! I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions! I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Look after yourself and I'll be back again very soon! Thank you all for your on-going support! Love you all xXx

"That's It!"
Monday 12th April 2021
Part One
Hello again everyone! So I'm back again with another blog post, I'm happy be on the current week now! I'm hoping eventually I will be able to catch up, it is going to be difficult as from Friday onwards I'm going to be away from my computer until the following Monday, so I'm going to have to try super hard to catch up! But I'm going to take it in my stride, I had a feeling that going back to the day job as well as trying to fit in my blogs and trying to cope with things in my personal life would get stressful, but as the saying goes:- We keep calm and carry on! I do have a little bit of news to share though, it seems that Sonia will be returning to Walford after a short period away visiting her daughter, Bex. However it seems that Sonia's return might be a big one, we know she has a family member arriving on the Square, will they be tagging along with her? Who knows? Either way, I'm super excited for what's in store for Sonia!
Tumblr media
So it's a whole new week on the Square and so much going on, but the first thing I'm going to focus on is Gray and the Taylor family. Today just so happens to be Chantelle's birthday and it looks as if to commemorate the day for Chantelle, the family have decided to catch up for a meal all expense paid by Gray! As Karen leaves the laundrette, she's approached by a man in a suit, who we later find out happens to be Mr. P, her boss? It seems as if he's eager to speak to her about something very important, but as Karen is in a rush to be with her family, they arrange to meet up the following day.
As Karen, Mitch, Bailey and Bernadette all make themselves comfortable at the dinner table at the restaurant, the only person missing happens to be Gray! Instead of being with his family, Gray decides to take himself to the Vic and slowly begins to drink his sorrows away. Can't he face being with his family, considering it's the day of Chantelle's birthday? Something is telling me that he still can't seem to live with the guilt - but the guilt of what? Honestly, the guilt of murdering her? He's still continuing to hide the most darkest and horrendous secret from the family! I'm amazed how long he's been able to keep up the pretence, especially in front of the Taylor's.
Eventually it seems as if the Taylor's know that Gray won't be turning up, but as Gray realises he can't face them he sends a message to Karen, once again lying that he's been caught up at work and won't be able to make the meal, however he urges them to order whatever they like and he would transfer the money over to them. But that's when Karen happens to have a better idea, instead of a swanky posh meal, she instead treats them all to a chippy! (Nothing beats a good chippy, right?!) But whilst the family all share happy memories of Chantelle burping the alphabet, Gray has somehow straggled his way to Ruby's club. Of course we don't see him at first, we seem to see more of Keegan and Tiffany - Keegan is also having to miss out on remembering his sister because he's working, but he and Tiffany are having to cope with a rowdy group of men.
Keegan is mentioning that he's having to work as hard as he can to make sure he can make a success of his life. But as Tiffany tries to reassure her husband that eventually he will become a success, the group of men start to become even more rowdy and as Keegan goes to confront them, he happens to see a familiar face sitting amongst them. Sitting in the corner with a drink in his hand, looking almost as if he's about to drink himself into oblivion, is Gray! Keegan is understandably surprised to see his Brother-In-Law in such a state, but it looks as if Gray simply doesn't care - he has no memory of the names of the men he's socialising with, as he gets himself up to speak with Keegan, all the alcohol he's consumed seems to catch up with him and he ends up throwing it all back up!
Eventually, as Gray sobers up, Keegan seems to have joined him at his home. I don't know why though but I feel like saying "Poor Gray" - but I know I shouldn't be! Do any of you guys think that Gray is a misunderstood man who has a terrible anger problem that needs some form of therapy?! Or is he some kind of evil conniving genius? Because I have to be honest there are times where I feel for Gray but then I remember what he's done and I think "Why am I feeling sorry for him?" Ha! You've got to admit, Toby-Alexander Smith always puts on an incredible performance as Gray! There are times I don't know whether Gray is being conniving or whether he's being genuine. In this scene, both Keegan and Gray happen to be discussing Chantelle, but Gray asks his Brother-In-Law a very interesting question, "Do you think she really loved me?" - Now, for any person who's grieving for their loved one, you wouldn't think twice about that kind of question being asked, but there's obviously a deeper meaning behind it, especially when Gray mentions how much he misses his wife and how much he wishes he could tell her how much he loved her, even also mentioning how much the guilt is eating him up inside. BUT WHAT GUILT? The guilt of beating her to pulp through-out their married life? The guilt of killing her? Interestingly, Keegan almost manages to get Gray to open up, asking him what he meant - but once again Gray completely changes the subject of the conversation to swerve attention being on him.
He grabs Keegan's attention by instructing him to write down his back details so he can transfer over money for him to put down a deposit for a stall, much to Keegan's shock! But Gray happens to use the excuse that it's what Chantelle would have wanted. Now I don't know about you, but whilst Keegan was writing down his details, there was a big part of me that was thinking that this was going to be such a terrible idea. What does Gray REALLY want with Keegan's details?! Is he really going to give him money for a stall?! Nahhhh - I think there's definitely going to be some kind of catch, or Gray is going to do something awful, but what?!
But whilst all this is happening, Bernadette has convinced her Mother that Mr. P has actually asked her out on a date, so after taking her daughter's advice and getting dolled up, Karen eventually agrees to meet Mr. P in the pub for a drink later in the evening. I did feel so sorry for her to be honest, it looks as if she's completely got the other end of the stick as it becomes clear that Mr. P just wanted to meet up with her for a simply business meeting. However, devastatingly, it's not the news that Karen was expecting, sadly she's having to be made redundant from her job. What does this mean now for the Taylor's? Will Karen be able to find a new job or will the family fall on hard times?!
--
Elsewhere on the Square, Lola is still learning more about Isaac's condition. As the new couple are sat having breakfast, Isaac seems to be completely focused on his phone whilst Lola is trying to get his attention by asking whether they could catch up for lunch. However, Isaac happens to mention that he has an appointment with his support worker, something that he apparently has every month. Even though Isaac seems to be more interested in his phone screen, Lola wishes her new boyfriend luck and walks out, without Isaac giving her a second glance.
Completely oblivious to the way he kind of ignored his new girlfriend, Isaac eventually has his appointment with his support worker, even though he informs him that everything seems to be going well in his life, he does raise concerns about Patrick, claiming that he's concerned about Patrick being used as a guinea pig for these new trails he's agreeing to take part in. Could they be taking advance of the fact that he's an elderly black man with a history of strokes? As much as the support worker is happy about Isaac's progress, he does ask a very interesting question - is he feeling a bit paranoid about whether he feel's the same way about his own medication? However Isaac seems completely shocked by the question and reassures him that he's still happy taking his own medication and his concern for his Dad is genuine. I have said from the beginning of this storyline for Isaac that it would be interesting to see whether Isaac's personality does change or whether he begins to get controlling or paranoid about certain things? I really do think it would be fascinating for EastEnders to portray exactly what schizophrenia is and how it can affect people who suffer with it, in their every day lives, I think this could be the beginning of that for Isaac?! Will we slowly begin to see what it's all about?!
Later, after getting the hump with Isaac about how he brushed her off earlier in the day, Lola is demanding some answers, is he hiding something? She arrives at his house demanding to know what's going on. Isaac still seems to be acting suspiciously when he asks her to come back in about 20 minutes, but she's insisting on finding out what he's hiding, but to her surprise he's gone and made her a lovely meal with lovely table setting. Are things really going to be this easy in their relationship? Or is there going to be something which causes Isaac to have another breakdown? Who knows? Either way I'm really intrigued to learn and see more of Isaac's story.

So, it seems after being confronted by Whitney the previous day, things seem to be really swimming in Kat's mind. She can't seem to live with herself knowing that she's sneaking about and having a fling with Phil, acting so carefree when Kush is having to deal with the fact that he'll be going to prison and leaving his son behind. Considering she was the one who got him into trouble in the first place, if she had never asked him to help with the robbery job with Phil, Kush would never be going to prison! Is she feeling a sense of guilt maybe? In an attempt to maybe clear her conscience, she goes to visit Phil, claiming that everything Kush is going through, really isn't fair and that it doesn't feel right that they have gotten off scot free, Kat states that she can't go public with Phil whilst Kush's life is falling apart!
Even though it seems that both Phil and Kat are enjoying each other's company, in an attempt to help with Kat's concerns for Kush, Phil decides to take it upon himself to give Kush some advice on how to survive in prison. However, we all know the type of reputation Phil has and he has had a bit of history from being in prison, so I'm sure he's thinking he's doing the decent thing suggestion to Kush that he needs to show that he's not to be messed about with whilst he's in there, otherwise he'll make himself a target if he doesn't show them who is boss.
However, as much as this advice comes from a good place, it's not the kind of advice Kush was hoping for. Kush is a completely different man compared to Phil, Kush's original thought process was to just keep his head down, not get into any trouble and just take it one day at a time. Even though Kush is thankful to Phil for his advice and is agreeing to stick to his word for taking the rap for other things the Mitchell's have done (which he is being paid for) - I do fear that maybe Kush will end up serving quite a long time in prison?! He voices his concern to Martin about what Phil had told him - Can I also just say how much I loved Martin describing Phil as "A Dinosaur!" - I don't know what but I just loved that moment so much! Poor Kush really doesn't know what to do?
Thinking he's managed to solve the issue for Kat, Phil calls her from the opposite side of the street as he sees her leaving the Minute Mart. I also thought this scene was very clever, the way they both walked towards the camera - Kat in front and Phil following her from behind at a distant pace, not to give themselves away as being a couple. Phil informs her that he's managed to have a word with Kush and everything seems fine, as Kat seems pleased with the news, they agree to meet for their arranged dinner date.
However, when Kat happens to bump into Martin and asks him how Kush is, Martin reveals to her the conversation that Kush had with Phil and the advice he was given. The thought of Kush beating up men to a pulp and becoming a monster as soon as he gets into prison is not the man Kush is. He's a good man and wouldn't do anything to add any more years onto his sentence, especially when it means he could be away from his son for a lot longer! Kat is absolutely fuming to learn that Phil told Kush to fight his way through prison, because in all seriousness, that is not the way to go about it! In worst case scenario, if Kush was to do that, he'd probably end up dead!
In a way of teaching her new love interest a lesson, Kat decides to stand Phil up and doesn't go to their arrange dinner date. Is it silly to say that I felt sorry for Phil? I think it was the way he was all smartly dressed in his blazer - bless! He rocks up at her house demanding answers as to why she never turned up, but she admits she knows about the advice he gave Kush. She states that she might be Slater and her name might give her a type of reputation of being a bit "Gobby" (Her words, not mine!) but she can't date anyone who has no conscience. She knows what's right and wrong and for someone with Phil's reputation who doesn't care for anyone but his own family, she states that they can't carry on their fling, much to his disappointment!
I have to be honest, I wasn't sure how I felt about Phil and Kat to begin with, but now I have to say, I love them. They're like the couple I never knew EastEnders needed. I can understand Kat's concern about them going public, it could either go one of two ways. They could either be made the laughing stock of the Square, or they could be Walford's next power couple!!! Honestly, if I saw Kat and Phil walking down the street, hand-in-hand, I wouldn't want to get in their way! Will Phil realise the mistake he's made regarding Kush? Will he try and make it so Kush could be out of prison sooner than he's expecting? Or could he maybe get him some protection whilst he's in prison? Who knows? But if Phil is serious about wanting to go public with Kat, he's going to have to think of something fast for her to change her mind.
I have to be honest, I'd love to have the opportunity to message Jessie Wallace directly and ask her what it's like working with Steve McFadden. I'd love to know their thoughts on when they heard that Kat and Phil were to become romantically involved?! Have you guys loved seeing Jessie and Steve in the same scenes as much I have?! I'd love to hear what you think of their story!!
I know there is a part 2 to this episode, I promise I will try and get that up as soon as I can. At this rate, it seems that I'll have to do a double episode post at some point next week in an attempt to catch up, but I will get there! Thank you all for reading, I really appreciate it! Please feel free to leave me any comments or messages about EastEnders and I'll happily take the time to reply! Enjoy the rest of your evening and your week folks! Love you all xXx

"You Might Aswell Just Come Out!"
Thursday 10th September
Good evening again everyone! Hope your day has been a good one - whether you've been relaxing at home or whether you've been out and working, hope it's been a good day for you all! We are back again with another episode tonight, we know Tuesday's episode ended with Chantelle dropping the bombshell on Kheerat that she is planning on leaving Gray the very next day!! Clearly something is going to stop Chantelle in her tracks, but what?!
Let's delve right into it! The episode starts with Ian waking up in the Vic, Sharon has only gone and made him a full English Breakfast!! The absolute works! I can still sense the flicker of guilt from him - he doesn't really deserve the Vic or the appreciation that Sharon is giving him. She thanks him for looking after both her and her baby boy, saying how she feels like a princess each time he's ran out to get groceries for her! He's there giving her a smile, even though it looks a bit forced! It's as if everything with Dotty has been forgotten about, Sharon hasn't even begun to even suspect for once that Dotty could be telling the truth. It's only going to hit her harder when she realises.
Across the Square, it looks as if Gray is finally heading back to work. Chantelle is stood behind the counter looking nervous and scared to even talk or move. It's the day she's planning on leaving her husband for good! Before he leaves he asks her whether she has her phone, he demands her to keep it with her, oh you know, just in case! She asks him softly on what time he'll return, she tells him she'll have dinner ready. Is this so she can time it right for her to get away before he gets back? So if what I'm thinking is right - she has until 1 o'clock to get away! As he leaves the house she grabs her phone and makes a call, it sounds as if she's making an enquiry about an apartment or house of some kind that she can stay in? During the phone conversation she looks down at her ring, is she going to pawn her jewellery just so she'll be able to afford it?!
In the Market, Mick bumps into Tina - I'm sure they probably haven't seen each other since lock-down. I'm unsure where Mick and Linda are staying right now but it sounds as if they're all settled in their new home. Linda is doing well to stay sober also, the only downside is that Mick is struggling to find a job, with him being Landlord of the Queen Vic for a good few years, it's probably been hard for him to find something he's qualified for - as he explains to Tina, he's had 4 interviews but not got the job in any of them because he's overqualified! Luckily, Tina decides to give him a permanent position at The Albert. I don't know about you guys but it feels so weird seeing both Mick and Linda looking for jobs in the Square now, they've been a part of the Queen Vic for so long, it's weird not seeing them behind that bar! It's true they're already popular within their neighbourhood and community, I'm sure they'll have plenty of people rallying round them if they needed any help.
In the Mitchell household, Ben still has his little package in his pocket ready to give to Callum. Oh bless! He's all excited and ready to go the seaside to listen to the seagulls with his partner, only Callum refuses to go. I feel sorry for Ben at this moment in time, as he has no idea what Callum has found. He's been struggling to come to terms with the fact that he could potentially lose all his hearing, until yesterday when he had the implant and it was the first time in weeks that he heard Callum's voice! He explains to his boyfriend that that was one of the biggest days of his life and he's disappointed that Callum doesn't seem to care. Only we know, that Callum knows that Ben has been lying to him. It's kinda sad to watch because all Ben is wanting to hear, is Callum tell him that he loves him. Of course Callum wouldn't deny that he doesn't love Ben, but knowing that he's plainly lying to his face is just getting him more and more angry. Why won't Ben tell him the truth? To save him the upset possibly? To not come between him and his job? Who knows? But when Callum decides to bring Danny Hardcastle up, once again Ben lies to his boyfriend and says he's not seen him since that incident at Ruby's. Callum scoffs in disbelief that once again his boyfriend has lied to him, he leaves the conversation before anything else can be said.
The next time we see Chantelle it looks as if she's leaving the pawn shop, Karen approaches her excitedly saying how much she has missed her and the kids. Did any one else notice that Chantelle was fidgeting with her sleeves? Like she was trying to cover up her hands so her Mum wouldn't see that she's not wearing her ring?! Chantelle tries to dash as she uses the excuse she needs to take the children to the dentist. As Karen begins to leave, Chantelle then calls to her Mum that she'll bring the kids round to see her, as she's missed them so much. Plus with Chantelle's plan on leaving, she'll know she'll never forgive herself if her Mum and Dad didn't get the chance to say goodbye to their grandchildren. Only will this cause her to run late and corrupt her plan to get away?!
Ha! Sorry I just need to applaud Dotty for messing with Ian's head! She is brilliant! She actually made him believe that Sharon loves him! Did you see that little smile appear on his face after she walked away?! He actually believed her! Sharon has always said from the beginning that she and Ian are just close friends. Ian has only been "her rock" the past few months out of guilt. She fell apart after Dennis died, he took her in and looked after her and her baby son, and also as a massive gesture - bought her the Queen Vic! And since lock-down he has been living with her and Albie, as Dotty says - in the hopes of things actually getting more romantic and intimate between them. I think it's no secret that Ian has always held a bit of torch for Sharon, they've been close friends for years but I think deep down he has always truly loved her. As for Sharon, she's never seen Ian as anything else other than a close friend, she's never had any romantic feeling towards him - ever! So why the hell should she start now?! I love that Dotty has used this information to her advantage, Ian is only going to make another fool of himself!
Meanwhile, at the Taylor's, Chantelle is visiting her parents. As she sits down and listens to Karen talking about much she is missing Chatham and Riley, also Keegan and Tiffany now they've moved out, Chantelle is looking round and looking at all the family photos. I think she feels this will be the last time in a while that she'll get to see her Mum and Dad, so she's taking everything in. She turns to her Mum and tells her how much she loves her, and how much she loves her family and her parents. I'm sure deep down inside it is killing her knowing she'll be fleeing in a few hours. I just hope she would tell her parents exactly what was happening and why she has to leave. Just for a split moment when Mitch was going to hand her some money, I thought she might've said something then ... she slightly hesitated, did anyone else notice?  She decides to decline her Dad's offer of the money and says to him that Keegan would need it more, she takes one last look at her parents and softly says goodbye to them, not a thought in their mind aware of what she's about to do!
Ooooh look! Frankie's back! It's nice to see her making more of an appearance on the Square! It looks as if Kathy has given her a job at The Albert! Ooops - only to find that Tina has also hired Mick! #Awkward! ... In the recent new trailer that was released, it showed Frankie taking pictures of little Ollie. Does she have some kind of connection to the Carter's? Why would she be taking pictures of Ollie?! I'm looking forward to seeing more of Frankie and what could be her story-line involving the Carter's. I know Frankie was meant to have a story-line with Ben, I kinda have a feeling we haven't seen that yet? Only she was introduced to him by Callum, are we going to see something more from that side of things? Is Frankie going to show Ben the deaf community and how it all works, even though he's slowly getting his hearing back, it would enlighten Ben I think. Poor Mick, he decides to let Frankie have the job at The Albert, but as he leaves you can see the look of disappointment on his face, another job he's potentially lost? Will he be able to find something?
Back at Vic, Linda is having a lovely catch up with her best friend, Sharon. To be honest, it's lovely to see these two having a nice catch up and a chat the way they are. Obviously the roles have reversed with now Sharon behind the bar and Linda sat as a punter - but I watch them and I can't help but think it's so real how they've done it. With the whole social-distancing aspect in place, Sharon is behind the bar and Linda is sat at her table ... I think that whole scene was brilliant and it just felt very realistic. I loved how Ian was eavesdropping on their conversation, Sharon complimenting him on how amazing he's been to her though-out lock-down. He is going to high jump to conclusions! I love how they both laugh at the thought of both herself and Ian being an item, little does the poor man know how humiliated he's going to be!
Does anyone else seem to understand what Vinny and Ruby are up to? I kinda didn't understand that moment, to my understanding Ruby doesn't have insurance for the club? Am I right in thinking that? So Vinny is going to help her in some way - saying she's needs cash or something? I am so confused with this one! Vinny is seen loitering, waiting - for what looks like - Ruby to come out the club, she previously told him the club would be empty with cash in the safe! Is going to try and get that money for something or someone?
Awww and Chantelle looks as if she's ready to flee, she waiting for children, calling for them to hurry. Kheerat approaches her and pleads for her to tell him where she's going. Little does Chantelle that from across the road, Gray is watching her from his car. Watching as Kheerat and Chantelle have their little quick discussion, the look on Chantelle's face is utter fear as Gray makes himself known, Kheerat backs away and Gray reminds her that he didn't want Kheerat talking to her. I really feel for Chantelle right now, she almost got away. She was almost out of his grasp, as they walk into the house - Kheerat watches from a distance, catching Chantelle's eyes and Gray's. I am so sure that Kheerat's going to suss Gray out, he's going to find out exactly what's been happening! The BIG question is - will it be too late before he does?!
Back at The Albert, Ben finally catches up with Callum. He joins him at the table and apologises. He seems to think that Callum is upset because of Danny, but to what extent and why. It's only when Callum reveals that he'd figured out that he'd been lied to for months! He questions him why and what it means for their relationship. Ben claims it's literally because he's joined the police force and nothing else, but then again - it shouldn't matter what Callum's job was, he still should've told him the truth. He claims he was trying to protect him, protect him from what though? Protect his job? Protect his safety? The seriousness of the situation really hits home for Ben when he realises that he's been seen on CCTV! What does this mean for Ben and the Mitchell's? How is Callum going to be able to ignore it?
The following scene, Chantelle is back in her bathroom trying to find a hiding place for the money. She decides to put it in a make-up bag and hide it in the toilet, Gray shouts out for her as she makes herself look busy in the bathroom. Of course the first thing Gray notices, he engagement ring is missing! Oh shit! How is she going to be able to explain that one?! Perhaps say it's gone down the drain something?
Oh gosh this is really cringe-worthy isn't it! Ian trying to find the words to say to Sharon how he feels about her. How many women has he claimed to love on this soap?! Sharon seems to think there's something wrong with Albie, but he decides to jump right in the deep end and pour his heart out to her. Oh and I can see how awkward this is making Sharon feel, an awkward smile on her face, a nervous giggle, twiddling her fingers ... he tells her he loves her and even claims to know that she feels exactly the same way about him ... only when she explains to him that she doesn't, you can see his face drop in dismay. He's clearly realised he's made a huge mistake and has made himself look a fool. What's going to happen now between them? I don't think they'd be able to live together now things have been made to feel awkward between them. Will Ian move out and back in with his Mum while Sharon stays at The Vic?! Will Ian realise that it was Dotty who was playing with his mind?
Okay, so the last scene of tonight's episode, Vinny is seen sneaking out of Ruby's club, carrying a hefty looking bag ... Martin clicks on as to where he came from and begins to give chase. Has Vinny nicked all the money that was in the club's safe?!  Vinny heads to the back entrance of the Minute Mart, Martin slowly closing in ... he calls for him and slowly enters the shop, looking in all the nooks and cranny's. Only Vinny appears from behind and bashes him over the head with a fire extinguisher. Martin is left lying unconscious! What the hell has he done?! and why did he attack Martin in such a way?! Why does Vinny need the money? Was he getting the money for Kheerat as a favour?! Will Martin be okay?!
Once again folks, i'm deeply sorry for this post being posted late! Unfortunately it may take me a few days to write up about tomorrow's episode as i'm going to be away from my laptop/computer for about 3/4 days. But I promise I will be up to date as soon as I can. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Thank you all so much for taking your time to read my blog, I know the posts can be long but I just want you to know I appreciate it immensely! Thanks again folks! xXx

"Have A Great Holiday!"
Monday 14th September 2020
Good afternoon everyone! As promised, this is the first of two blog posts today. This will be following last night's episode. Friday's episode ended with Kheerat basically hinting to Chantelle that he has feelings for her, by giving her that lucky poker chip! I still think that that poker chip is going to become very important, i'm unsure why or how. But something tells me it'll be a big significance with Chantelle's death. I could be completely wrong and jumping to conclusions, but we shall see! Before we jump into last night's episode, some spoiler pictures have been released today of the aftermath of Chantelle's death, as you can see by the picture below, Karen is grief-stricken as flowers and tributes are laid out in front of the Atkins household after the Square learn the news of Chantelle's passing. Kheerat believes that Gray has something to do with Chantelle's death and decides to confide in Mitch about what he knows and reveals that he and Chantelle had gotten close during her last few days. These next few episodes are going to be really hard to watch but I'm really intrigued to see how Chantelle's death will be portrayed and of course the aftermath is always the most interesting part!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyway, lets jump right into last night's episode - Max appears to have had some post delivered and he seems happy about it, have the divorce papers from Rainie finally come through? Viewers will know that Max sold his half of the restaurant business over to Ian, to stop Rainie on getting her hands on any of his money, however Max is unaware that Ian used his share of the money to buy Sharon the Vic! I know it sounds awful to say, but I am really looking forward to Ian getting his comeuppance. He's been acting the hero for too long now and people are going to realise his secrets and uncover what he's been hiding the last few months, is Max going to be the first one to be suspicious when he learns the truth?
In the Square, Martin seems to be the thought on everyone's mind. Sharon approaches Ian and asks on whether there's been any news, Ian acts very coldly towards her and just gives her a simple one worded answers - "No!" She can clearly see that he's acting very differently towards her now after she revealed she didn't have feelings for him. She can sense the awkwardness between them so leaves the conversation sharpish, Ian watches as she walks away! Can I just say what Peter said next really shocked me - "The best way to get over someone is to get under someone else!" Is he implying that his Dad should sleep with someone else just to take his mind off Sharon?! I apologise if that is not what he meant, but it sure did sound like it to me!!
At the Atkins household, Chantelle is upstairs quickly trying to pack her suitcase, it looks as if she has packed everything she needs to get away! From the outside, she can hear voices approaching the house - she looks out and calls to Gray that she will run and grab the front door, unfortunately Gray gets there before her and he welcomes Mitch and Karen into the house. I'm sure he's unaware of their holiday plans and of course he'll have no idea that Chantelle is going with them, are they going to put their foot in it and not realise that Gray has no idea? Is Gray then going to get angry at Chantelle for not telling him their plans?
At Ruby's club, Ben and Callum are talking about what they're potentially going to do, Callum is still unsure whether to go ahead with setting up Danny. Suddenly, Stuart interrupts their conversation, all smiles - can I just say how nice it is to see Stuart, finally! I know when he first came into the soap he was a bit of a dark character, but now, its lovely to see him so smiley and happy with Rainie, it's like his character has done a complete U-turn! He is so happy to finally learn that Max's and Rainie's divorce has come through, which can only mean he can finally marry Rainie! I just love the fact he starts dropping hints to Callum about what he wants for his Stag night - Something is telling me he wants to be tied to a lamppost in his pants! Of course this is something which has completely been wiped from Callum's mind, Ben actually decides to change their conversation and asks him whether he does have anything planned for Stuart's Stag night! But Callum ignores the question and gets back to the matter in hand, if Ben has any plans or ideas of setting up Danny, then Callum wants to be made aware of it, unfortunately Ben tells him that he wont tell him - mainly because he doesn't want Callum to have to lie to his boss, so in a way he's kinda being cruel to be kind. He doesn't Callum getting in any kind of trouble because of his actions, but Callum does make sure that Ben promises him to speak to his Dad if he decides to make any stupid decisions, at first, I think Ben is hesitate, but he nods his head and makes the promise, however is this going to be another promise he breaks?!
Back at Chantelle's and Gray's house, Karen and Mitch are making themselves comfortable, Bernie is also there in two as everyone is getting ready for their holiday. Gray unaware of their plans, softly says to Chantelle "What were you going to do? Send me a postcard?!" But with all of the family members there, he knows he can't do anything else, he can't do anything to Chantelle while her family is around. She speaks softly in response to him "It'll do Keegan good after everything he's been through, plus you can concentrate on Whitney's trial!", he still doesn't look happy about the situation, but to put on a front for the family he smiles and agrees and leaves the room, leaving Chantelle to be with her parents as she smiles, is she thinking that she'll finally be able to get away? One thing I have noticed about Chantelle - which I can't believe I haven't noticed before, she always wears long sleeved blouses - clearly to hide any bruises or marks she may have from Gray's abuse, I never really realised it until now.
At the Vic, Kathy is very apologetic towards Sharon. After Ian confessed his feelings for Sharon, Kathy blamed her for leading him on, but now she's realised that that wasn't the case and she apologise to the fellow blonde. Sharon understands and explains there's nothing for her to be sorry for. It's then that Ian makes his way into the pub and Peter pipes up giving him the news that he's set him up on dating app! Understandably, Ian is horrified! Both Sharon and Kathy decide to have a look and they all agree it would be good for him to focus on something else and persuade him to give it a go! But Ian is adamant he wants nothing to do with it - but something is telling me that, with Jane not around any more and Sharon not feeling the same way about him, I think he'll reconsider. I mean what else has he got to lose? He might as well give it a go and see if he can meet anyone!
Ruby is then seen waiting in the hospital to news of Martin. Vinny suddenly appears and begs to Ruby to tell him that Martin is okay, she instantly tells him leave! She is so angry with him and tells him that she didn't want to go through with it in the first place, she informs him that she tried calling him to call their plans off! Vinny begs to her not to say anything to police, Ruby realises that if she would - Vinny would go down for robbery! Vinny makes the big statement - "If I go down, you go down with me!" I'm sure it's something that Ruby wont even contemplate, of course it's important that Martin gets better. It's unknown whether he actually realised it was Vinny that he was chasing. Ruby states that Martin is all she has right now and he's the most important thing to her. I'm really curious to find out when Stacey will be back - will she learn of Martin's attack and make her way back to the Square? Or will Stacey's return be for some other reason?! Either way - she is not going to be happy when she learns that Martin and Ruby have become an item!
Ahhh so we've learned a little bit more about Frankie, after Tina slightly offends her, Tina tries to apologise to her. She asks whether she can have a look at Frankie's photography, we see pictures of a young boy, funnily enough around Ollie's age. Frankie reveals to Tina that the little boy was in fact her younger brother who has sadly passed away. She claims even everyone is trying to help her and cure her hearing, she says that he was the one who was actually sick and needed curing. Is this something that has affected Frankie her whole life? Not being able to cope with the passing of her brother, so does she start to get close to the Carter family and Ollie? Is Ollie maybe going to replace the brother she lost? I'm hoping Frankie becomes a regular part of the soap and we'll be able to discover more of her story/background. I think it's clear there's going to be some form of romance between her and Tina though, that I am looking forward to seeing! It's about time Tina fell in love and found a proper love interest.
Back at the Atkins family home, Gray is seen in the bedroom, lurking over the suitcase on the bed that Chantelle has packed. Nothing can be heard other than the voices from the family downstairs. He takes it upon himself to start unzip the suitcase, although as he's about to open it fully, footsteps approach and he quickly zips it back up. Chantelle makes her way into the bedroom, and discreetly hides from Gray the make-up bag with money in that she hid in the toilet, and she quickly stuffs it into the suitcase. Gray is clearly suspicious and claims that she managed to pack her stuff fairly quickly, Chantelle once again tries to lure him off the scent and claims that she literally just stuffed everything inside it as quick as she could. She explains that they have a long train journey ahead so she'll go out and grab some food for herself and the children. As she leaves with the suitcase, Gray heads to the bathroom - at this moment, I was kinda worried thinking he might find something that Chantelle may have missed. He looks all over the shelves and cupboards and then notices the top of toilet is wonky, he picks it up to reveal - nothing! He sighs in frustration! Luckily we know Chantelle grabbed it in time before he could click on to her plans to escape.
The next scene shows Tina joining her family in the Vic, Mick, Linda and Ollie are all sat together. Tina has dolled herself up, wearing a lovely black dress. Frankie follows behind her and Tina introduces her to her family. However, when Frankie is introduced to Ollie, he turns and gives Frankie a smile. She mouths the word "Hello" to the young boy and smiles. But as she turns away its obvious that something is playing on her mind. I personally think that Ollie does look very similar to her younger brother? Don't you guys think? I truly believe that somehow Frankie believes that Ollie might be her real brother, or something along those lines? Later Frankie is sat with Ollie as Linda and Tina watch from a distance, everyone commenting how Frankie is good with children and how Ollie has happily decided to sit with her. Frankie looks as if she is besotted with Ollie, she tells him how similar he looks to her younger brother, Harry. I am so certain something is going to happen between Frankie and the Carter family!
Meanwhile, Ben decides to take his boyfriend's advice and decides to speak to his Dad about the possibility of setting Danny up. He reveals to his Dad that the warehouse they went to did actually have CCTV. Phil is of course wary of them being found out but he makes it clear that if the Police had anything on the, they would've come for them by now. Ben is desperate to her his Dad onside, i don't think Ben can take the fact that Danny almost left him completely deaf. Phil wants nothing to do with it, and warns Ben to let it go and forget about it, but clearly its something he just can't do. He goes into his Dad's phone and decides to take Danny's phone number. What is Ben planning on doing? Is he going to get himself in more trouble and potentially put his life and Callum's life in danger once again?!
Back at the Vic, Max finally catches up with Ian, gives him the news that his divorce has finally comes through. It seems Max is really thankful towards Ian, he thanks him for keeping hold of the money so Rainie can't get her hands on it, he claims he's even willing to let Ian keep a couple of grand to himself in a way of saying "Thank You!" - Ian is clearly taken aback by his offer and says to Max that he really doesn't have to do that for him! It's only then Max the comment that he's happy to take the money back from him, seeing as he no longer needs to look after it, plus he also makes a little joke "Don't want you getting tempted to spend it, do we?" - Oooooo as a viewer, I am kinda looking forward to seeing it when Max finds out about his Ian spending his money on the Vic, how is Ian going to worm his way out of this one? Is he going to try and get money as quick as he can, or another possibility - is Sharon going to find out where Ian got the money from, if you think about it, technically the Vic belongs to Max! If it was Max's money used to buy it, Max should be standing behind the bar, not Sharon! It's an interesting thought but it's technically true and it could be a big turn in events if Max ended up living in the pub!
Awwwwww the next scene was such a heartbreaking one!!!! Kheerat is in his office and Chantelle pays him a visit. He stops his work as she makes her way in. She's shaky and her voice is raspy. She asks if Kheerat meant what he said to her the previous day. He promises her he meant every word. She playing with the poker chip with her fingers, twiddling it in hands. She says to him as much as she wants to cash in and be with him, she can't - not at this moment in time. She's going away with her family and she wont be coming back, but she does hope that one day soon there will be a chance for her to cash in with him! Kheerat is clearly disappointed, but he understands that she has to do what she has to do. He tells her to keep it, and whenever the time feels right for her, he'll be waiting. They're definitely an unspoken affection and love between the two souls, as Chantelle leaves the room, she turns and says to him"All I want to do is kiss you!" ... it is quite heartbreaking. Tears fill her eyes as she leaves the room. We know that the chance for them to be together will never happen! I feel Chantelle's death is really going to affect Kheerat, he'll be heartbroken but he'll also make sure he does everything in his power to find the truth and the reason why she dies.
Unbeknown to Chantelle, back at their house, Gray is ransacking their bedroom, trying to find some sort of clue that Chantelle is keeping something from him. Does he know that she's planning on leaving him? He goes through her draws and wardrobes and everything. He then decides to look at his phone and uses the tracking app to see where she is. He throws the phone in a rage, he then discovers a type of child memory box from under the bed. It's only then as he looks through it that his daughter Mia tells her Father that they're planning on leaving for the holiday. He asks her when her Mummy told her about the holiday, the little girl reveals that it was least week she planned on taking them on a big adventure, but they didn't go. Only then Gray realises that it's been a whole week that Chantelle has been planning on leaving.
Back in the Square, the Carter family are enjoying time together after lock-down, Mick, Linda and Tina are all enjoying quality time together. Entertaining Ollie playing a little bit of football, but from a distance, it's revealed that Frankie is taking photographs of the family, especially more of little Ollie. What is her connection with the Carter's? Why is she so fixated on Ollie? I'm really looking forward to seeing more of her story unfold!
The last scene of the episode, Chantelle is making her way through the Square, she's on the phone to someone confirming her arrival of herself and her two children to a refuge. For a moment she's looking relaxed and happy and more positive than she has done for long time. When she gets to the house, her family are waiting for her and ready to make a move! The only people missing are her children, Mac and Mia! She looks up to house to see them standing at their windows, waving at her with sad solemn little faces. She calls for them to come with her, but Gray insists that they wanted to stay home, he plays the role of a perfect Daddy! Saying he'll give the movie nights, mid-night snacks and build dens with his children. Chantelle's plan has fallen through again, Gray stopping her and catching her out as she continues to make plans to escape. She looks helplessly and longingly for her children as the rest of the family make their way to the train station and Gray makes his way back inside the house. Chantelle is defeated again!
I don't know about you lot but it's so devastating seeing Chantelle look so damaged and lost and almost broken by what Gray is doing. It's going to make her death so much more harder to watch. Jessica Plummer and Toby-Alexander Smith have done such brilliant performances the past few episodes. It's going to he heart wrenching come the end of the week. Thank you all so much for reading. I apologise the post is late! I'll be back in a few hours time following tonight's episode! Thanks folks! xXx

"I'm Leaving Tomorrow!"
Tuesday 8th September 2020
Good evening everyone! Hope you're all enjoying your week so far! I once again apologise for this post being late, I just want to let you guys know that I am not slacking in any kind of way, I want to assure you all that I am just as excited about EastEnders as much as you guys are and I'm really looking forward to what the soap has in store for us. I know in recent weeks/months that I have been late with posts etc etc, I just want to explain to you guys that this blog, for me, is truly a hobby ... I work two jobs as well try to have a social life, I do this during my evenings whenever I'm not working and I will always make sure I am up to date with episodes! I just wanted to clear the air about that just in case some of you might have been thinking.
Anyway, we all know on Monday the soap came back with a huge bang! Now is the only time I've had to catch up on last night's episode, so lets jump straight into it!
So last night ended with Dotty telling Sharon the truth about how her son died and exposing Ian and his lies, and of course it starts right where we left off .... surely Ian isn't going to get away with it? Clearly Sharon is shocked to be hearing what Dotty is saying, Max is over on the other side of Vic listening in, and even he pipes up and claims that Ian was the one who saved Dennis, as he was there! But Dotty is eager to make Sharon believe her, she claims that she has no reason to lie, why would she? And oh of course Ian would bring up the fact that she was in court for possession of drugs because Ian reported her, but even so, that would have nothing to do with it! That really wouldn't make sense! And yet Sharon falls for it!!!!  She calls her an evil little bitch and smashes a glass in front of her ... did you guys clock that horrible smug grin on Ian's face?! Poor Dotty then gets thrown out the Queen Vic, everyone looking at her! Does anyone else feel for Dotty right now? She's been hiding this secret for months, being terrorised by Ian and blackmailed to make sure she keeps Ian's horrible secret, and as soon as she tells the truth, no one believes her! Sharon threatens her with the glass bottle, and warns her to never approach her or her family ever again!
Tumblr media
As she does so, Bobby can be seen looking from a distance, it's been known that he has had a crush on Dotty for some time, whether he still does, i'm unsure ... but seeing her making unbelievable claims about his Dad, it disappoints him. I'm sure he wondering, "Why is she lying?" ... but I'm sure at some point, something will be found ... Dotty called out that she had a recording of Dennis from the boat, but it got deleted, could that still be found somewhere? Could someone else potentially have a copy? Ian tells Sharon to ignore Dotty, she's just a messed up kid in his words. Sharon decides to leave the situation to get some head space, leaving Ian to wonder what she could be thinking about.
Aww now we see Chantelle meeting up with Kheerat, he's managed to get her the money she asked for. He asks whether her whether Gray can't help with the situation she may be in, but Chantelle can't bare to tell the truth. She explains the money is for her and her children and nothing else. The more this goes on and the more she confides in Kheerat, I do believe eventually she will say something about the abuse she's been suffering before she passes, unless something happens and Kheerat will find out the truth. But will he be too late? This is truly a sad story-line to watch, but of course it's very important to portray and tell the story! Chantelle decides to confide in Kheerat and reveals that she's divorcing her husband, this is clear surprise to him as it's shown in his eyes and the look on his face, he looks as if so many questions are rushing through his head. "Why would she be divorcing him?!" ... he promises to get her the money she needs to divorce him, she thanks him with a sigh of relief. But the look in Kheerat's eyes made me feel like he just wanted to hold her, wrap her up in cotton wool and take her away from what she's been suffering. It's as if he's Chantelle's true knight in shining armour.
Awww and meanwhile, Ben is in the hospital along with his Dad and Lola, ready for his appointment to have his implant. He's looking longingly waiting for Callum to show up, Lola asks what would be the first thing he'd want to hear if the implant works, perhaps Lexi singing one of her songs? It's devastating that unbeknown to Ben, Callum is at work - having seen him appear on CCTV and revealing him taking part in the job with Danny Hardcastle, I do feel as much as Callum wants to be there for his boyfriend, he needs to hide the fact that it's his partner in the CCTV. I feel there could be some upsetting Ballum scenes ahead. At his house, Gray is working on his laptop, suddenly a advertisement pops up! "Are you looking for a divorce lawyer?" ... it's incredible how realistic that is! I'm sure all of you would agree that there have been times you've typed something in search bar on the internet, and a few hours later you'll be back online and there'll be an advertisement for something you've previously searched! Instantly Gray views the history on the laptop and it reveals everything has been deleted. Is he aware of what Chantelle might be up to? If so, I'm dreading what's going to happen next for Chantelle!
Back on the Square, Dotty is seen with her head in her hands, looking defeated. Bobby makes his way up to her, demanding to know what she was playing at. He tells her neither he nor anyone else believes what she's saying is true. She asks him that it doesn't even cross his mind that there might be some slight truth in what she is saying, again ... why would she lie? I mean, it's clear she and Ian have never gotten on in the first place, Ian basically sees her as Nick Cotton's daughter, which means with him as a father, she could be very much like him! Bobby then reveals to Dotty that Ian wants himself and Sharon to be more than friends, Dotty's face smirks into a huge grin, is she going to be able use that information to her advantage?! Dotty claims that Bobby thinks that she is just like her father, like everyone else seems to think to, and with the way things are going for her, she might as well prove them right!
Next clip, Chantelle comes home from work, Gray is clearly waiting for her. He hears her footprints enter the house, he asks her how work was, she replies with "Fine" ... the next comment he makes is "I would've thought more than fine!" She makes her way into the living room, Gray watching her as she walks in ... she tries to lure him off the scent and says she's been with a client. The next thing which came out of Gray's mouth made my mouth drop ... "Is that what that's slutty top for?" ... He is clearly enraged, knowing that she's been looking for a divorce lawyer. But to call her slutty?! Sorry, but that is bang out of order! Is he making out that perhaps she's having an affair, which is why she may be looking for a divorce?! But then HE announces that he's actually seeking an divorce! Saying it's best for them to get HER out of everyone's lives! This clearly comes as a shock to Chantelle, to be honest, in all seriousness ... what actually has she done?! Chantelle has done NOTHING, she's the one who has been the victim of Gray's outbursts for years and years, and yet he's divorcing her?! I'd kind of wished Chantelle had told him sooner that she was divorcing him, but of course - in her situation, she had to it secretly. This is going to be such a blow for Chantelle, he's even letting on that she wont even be able to see her children. How the hell is she going to be able to turn this around?!
Tumblr media
The next time we see Chantelle, she is in the bath, Gray's words clearly playing on her mind. Footsteps can be heard of Gray coming up the stairs and approaching the bathroom, she looks in fear to the door as the footsteps get closer. The door of bathroom unlocks and Gray appears, he again repeats himself and says he wants her out. She pleads with him to talk it through, saying the children can't be without their mother! He claims he can provide for them himself and keep them with him, she pleads for him to make their marriage work. He lets out a sigh and tells her to prove it! Prove what exactly?! She's curled up in ball in the bath as he slowly approaches her, with not even any form of emotion in his face. He leans onto the side of the bath and tells her "If you love your kids, prove it. Do this and we can call all this off!" ... At this moment in time, I'm thinking - what does he mean? "Do this?" ... Chantelle is begging him saying "Please not this!" ... does she have some kind of fear of water? Or is something darker about to happen?
Next minute, we see Ian let himself into the Vic, he sees a light is on upstairs and he makes his way up, hoping to see that Sharon has returned. He finds her in the kitchen, they both share a look and Ian starts to make excuses for Dotty. Instantly Sharon interrupts him and says "What aren't you telling me?!" ... Sharon and Ian have friends for a very long time, you'd think she'd know if he had been hiding something from her. But once again he worms his way out of the big lie/secret, and instead informs Sharon that Dennis was posting abuse about Bobby instead. He explains that she was giving birth to Kayden while it was all going on and he thought he'd be able to handle it. But as a good point, Sharon says that that was then, so why has he kept quiet since then and not told her? It looks as if as soon as Ian is about to explain why, she answers for him ... He didn't want her to feel bad about him? Because she was going through enough already? ... Ian's eyes and ears are in absolute disbelief! Something else he's letting her believe, that he's being such a good friend to her ... when it actual fact, it's been lie after lie! She then thanks him!!!!! Oh my gosh!!! I am watching this with my face in my hands ... can Ian not stoop any lower?! How long is he going to worm his way out of this? The more he lies, the more worse it's going to be once the truth finally comes out! He even says "You've got nothing to thank me for!" ... hmmm - is that the guilt sinking in?!
Suddenly, the scene goes back to Chantelle and Gray ... Chantelle can be seen lying underwater, with Gray watching over her. Gray is clearly timing her as she holds her breath underwater. She lets out a scream underwater and Gray raises his arm in a signal for her to come up. She is clearly gasping for breath. How long has she been having to hold her breath? He's pretty much nearly drowning her without actually physically touching her. Controlling how long she stays under water for. As she's gasping for breath and coughing, he shrugs it off and says "Wasn't so bad, was it?" Then as if nothing has happened, he tells her to get changed and go and pick up their children. I am absolutely baffled by this! Not only is Gray physically abusing his wife, but he's also playing mind games and controlling her. It's typical domestic abuse!
Back at the hospital, Callum finally arrives to be with Ben for his appointment. Ben is seen with wires connected behind his ears, Phil watching and waiting, sat next to him. Callum bursts through the door, apologetic to his boyfriend, he asks them if he had missed anything. Phil says to him that he should've been there an hour ago, Callum explains that something came up at work - the next thing is really interesting - Phil asks him whether it was more important than being at the hospital with his boyfriend, Callum then pipes up to Phil and says "You tell me!" - there is clearly some tension between Callum and Phil, I can sense an atmosphere between them. Now Callum knows about the job they took part in, will he blame Phil for getting Ben involved? Which is way he seems so snappy at Phil! Suddenly Ben whispers "I heard you!" ... He turns to Callum and smiles and repeats himself "I heard you!" He laughs excitedly that the implant worked, could this mean that Ben's hearing could be returning?! Callum is thrilled for his boyfriend but can't help but feel let down that he had been lied to for weeks/months.
Oh!!!!! So that's how Ian got the money to spend on the Vic!!! He used the money from Max's share of the restaurant to buy the Vic!! It all makes perfect sense now! And of course, Max has absolutely no idea - that's someone else that's going to be annoyed with Ian when his lies and schemes come to light. Not only is Sharon going to be angry with him, but so will Max ... I have a feeling something is going to go very wrong for Ian and very soon. It's been revealed that Adam Woodyatt would be taking a long break from the soap, something to do with a story-line - is Ian going to flee before everything comes to light? Or are things going to be revealed and will he then make a run for it? Whichever way it goes, I don't think things will be the same for Ian, ever again.
The last scene of the episode tonight, Chantelle is looking frail as she's walking the children home. She's scared, Kheerat calls over to her explaining that it's going to take him longer for him to get the money, if not days, a couple of weeks. She softly says that she doesn't have a couple of weeks, she then drops the bombshell and says that she is leaving tomorrow! You can see in her eyes she is desperate to get away from Gray as soon as she can! I do fear that somehow Gray will end up finding out - or she'll end up getting hold up and not being able to go through with her plans. It's also devastating too that right now she hasn't even confided in her Mum or Dad, we've seen nothing from Karen or Mitch - if only Chantelle could find the strength to tell her family and not suffer in silence! I do believe the next few episodes are going to be really hard to watch, as harrowing as it's going to be, I'm sure EastEnders will do a brilliant job in bringing it to the screen. It's a very important story-line and i'm positive both Jessica Plummer and Toby-Alexander Smith will do it justice! I hope you've all enjoyed my blog tonight, I once again apologise for posting so late. I'll be back again soon following the next episode. Enjoy the rest of your night folks! xXx

"Leo King Didn't Deserve To Live!"
Thursday 8th October 2020
Good evening everyone! I hope you've all had a brilliant week! Tonight I'll be blogging about last night's episode, as tomorrow I'll be posting about tonight's episode. I apologise for the lateness, thank you all for being so patient with me! Let's delve right into it! So the episode starts with Gray, sat with his head bowed looking at  the floor, alone in his house - as we can see, his house is in utter disarray!! As music is being played, Gray looks up at his suit hanging on the back of the door, today is Chantelle's funeral. How is going to be able to keep things together? As he stares at his black blazer, the door bell rings, as he goes to the answer the door, the main thing we can see is a picture frame on the floor of him and his deceased wife. A man's voice can be heard from the hallway, the Detective has come back to give Gray the news that Chantelle's death has been declared as an accident. Gray feels as if that conclusion is an insult to Chantelle, but then again - is he only putting on a front because they've basically told him that he's gotten away with murder? He gives them the impression that they have missed something, to which the Detective seem to think that he means Kheerat? He informs Gray that if he has any news then he needs to tell them, to which is then he realises he can't tell them the complete truth, so he whispers "No". As the Detective leaves house, Gray goes to look out of his window, we see Whitney exit her house - she takes a huge deep breath, her trail starts today!
Meanwhile, at the Carter household, Mick appears to be writing out a card. Linda has gotten herself ready to attend Chantelle's funeral. It's clear to see that things are looking a little rocky in their relationship right now, they're both dealing with things in their own personal life and neither of them are talking to each other. That is how problems start - keeping secrets and not speaking to your partner. Mick is hiding the fact that he's found out Frankie is his daughter, and Linda is hiding the fact that she's taken a sip of alcohol and also Max kissed her. Linda tries to talk to her husband, as Mick listens to wife without saying a word as he's writing the card, she states how much she loves him. It looks as if she's finally going to come clean - she starts off by beginning to explain it happened the night at the Prince Albert, it looks as if Mick is ready to guess what she's going to say - but she backs down at the last minute and instead tells him that Max kissed her, instead of telling her husband about the big gulp of vodka that she drunk! Mick doesn't say anything - he carries on writing his card, Linda is adamant that it didn't mean anything. As Mick walks away we see he's left his card on the table, Linda goes to have a read - we can see it's a sympathy card and inside it reads "Mitch! She'll always be your little girl! Mick x" (Not from Mick & Linda I noticed).
On the Square, everyone is gathering waiting to say their goodbyes to Chantelle. Mitch is dressed in black as he approaches the house, still flooded by flowers and tributes. Karen follows behind, determined to make sure her Grandchildren attend their Mother's funeral. Unfortunately, Mitch informs her that the children are at school, he even states that he wouldn't want Bailey there either. This is an interesting debate this one - should young children attend funerals? Of course it gives them a chance to say Goodbye to their loved one, but could it be a bit harrowing for them? Billy informs his girlfriend that the cars will be there shortly and she rushes off to get ready.
At the Panesar household, Suki is also getting ready, as she tells Vinny that Jack has managed to get her a meet up with Jags at the police station. Vinny beings to panic, thinking that his Mum, setting up his brother, probably wasn't the best idea she's had. He worries that Jags might end up telling the truth as to who was to blame for the attack on Martin. As they discuss Jags, Kheerat appears from the hallway, dressed up all ready to go to Chantelle's funeral. Suki begins to tell her son that he shouldn't go, considering how the family are acting around him right now. Kheerat is insulted by his Mother, he wants to pay his respects and he shall do so! As both Kheerat and Vinny leave the room, Suki ends up calling Ash asking her to go and visit Jags instead.
At the hospital, Phil is still longingly watching his son, Raymond through the hospital window. What is his plan on helping his son? Suddenly Ellie walks past Phil, not even realising who he is, as she goes in to see her Grandson! Phil then realises who she could be, how is he going to stand up against Ellie and gain access to his son? I'm sure I've read somewhere that Phil and Ellie are going to end up having a fling? I know it's just a rumour, but I hope it's one that isn't true! Phil shouldn't have to go down that route just to gain access to his son! Surely something else will happen, right?!
Oooo the next scene is a very interesting one! Back on the Square, Gray is ready to face everyone and the day ahead. He stares at himself in the mirror before he finally leaves the house. As he slowly makes his way down the stairs from the front door, to the front of the house - everything goes muffled. Everything seems to focus on Gray, I don't know about you guys but to me, he's looking extremely uncomfortable and incredibly angry. Everyone from Jay, Honey, Denise, Tiffany, Billy and the rest of the Taylor family are all there to give their condolences. As Gray looks across the Square a very dirty angry look is spread right across his face as we see Kheerat approach with a huge bunch of flowers, regardless of what people think right now, I think it's only fair he also gets to say Goodbye too. I feel that it's awful that Keegan tells him that he's not welcome. Gray looks as if he's not going to be able to handle the pressure of today, he watches as Karen breaks down and cries for her daughter as the hearse arrives. He is clearly getting more and more uncomfortable, he walks straight pasts the hearse as it parks up, doesn't even glance at Chantelle's coffin, and sits in the car other car at the back, telling the rest of the family he wants to travel on his own. Only once in the car he instructs the driver to take him to court! Is he seriously going to miss his wife's funeral and go to Whitney's aid instead?
As Ash is leaving to go and see her brother, Habiba stops her in her tracks, begging her to try and get her boyfriend out of prison. Habiba tells Ash all about her plans to make it known on social media that Jags is innocent, she even has a t-shirt made. Habiba tells Ash that they both know that Jags doesn't belong in prison and the fact that they've got the wrong man, Ash agrees that she'll try all she can to get Jags out. Eventually she finally gets to the prison to see her brother, they are both obviously really upset by what has happened. Jags has found out that it was his Mother who set him up, Ash is completely devastated for her brother, she tries her best to convince him to tell the truth. But he won't have any of it, he insists that if Ash helps him, Suki will come for her also - it's true that their Mother appears to have a dark side. What will do if she finds out that Ash tried to help him? To keep his sister from getting into even more trouble, it looks as if Jags is going to take the blame. He tells her to inform his girlfriend that he's guilty. As he leaves, Ash is left in tears.
Finally Whitney arrives at the courtroom ready for her trial. The room is all quiet before the proceedings start, she arrives with Sonia for support. Suddenly, Gray bursts through the doors, he doesn't make eye contact with anyone and sits in the bay. Whitney is clearly stunned to see him there, today of all days! He's clearly using Whitney's trial as an excuse for him to escape Chantelle's funeral.
Back at the hospital, Phil takes it upon himself to speak to Ellie. As they chat, he makes up a story about his Granddaughter being in the hospital with a broken leg. As they chat, Ellie reveals where she's and asks where Phil lives, he doesn't even mention Walford and mentions another area, Ellie is surprised and asked who his parents were as she might've known them. As he gives the names Peggy and Eric, Ellie apologises as she doesn't recognise the names. They leave things on a civil note and we can see that Phil knows who he's dealing with now. He knows who he's up against.
Oooooooo does anyone hate Suki a much as I do?! I wasn't going to mention this before as I didn't think it was important ... Oooh but it bloody is now!! Earlier on in the episode, Stacey was still trying to make amends with her Mum, as she was - Suki was being a nosy neighbour overhearing their conversation, she basically starts to insult Jean and Stacey, only for then in brilliant Stacey-style, she stands up for her family and throws in the insults about Jags being done for GBH! As Suki walks off, Stacey warns her not to mess with the Slaters! BUT later on, as Kush and Jean are minding their own business in their house, Suki lets herself in, much to their shock. Kush and Jean both ask Suki politely to leave, but Suki makes it business by stating that she did knock but there was no answer so she used her keys ...... I don't believe there was a knock was there? I didn't hear one! I believe she let herself in! ... Anyway she decides to drop the big bombshell onto them that she's going to be raising their rent because of having new people in the house! Jean begins to think it's because of what Stacey said to Suki earlier, but she shrugs it off as if she doesn't care, she even nastily insults Daniel in front of Jean as Kush enquires about the money Daniel paid their rent with before he sadly passed. As she leaves, she has a smug grin on her face!!! Ooooh I hate her so much!!!
Meanwhile, back at Whitney's trail, everything is all a-go! The jury are in place and everyone is listening to what the judge has to say. As he describing everything that happened on the night Leo died, Gray is seen listening to every word and - in a way - it looks and sounds as if he's the one on trial. If you understand what I mean? I don't know whether you lot noticed, but they've made Leo's death sound very accurate to Chantelle's death also. How someone was left to bleed to death as the other person went out. It could be as if Gray was the one on trial! As Gray is listening to these words he shouts out from the bay "No! It wasn't like that!" - Sonia and Whitney look at him in shock of his outburst, Sonia tells him to keep quiet, Whitney looks afraid for her life, could he be jeopardising her trail with his outbursts? As he sits back down he whispers "This is a farce!"
Back at the Vic, everyone has come back from Chantelle's funeral. Karen is at the bar looking at Chantelle's picture on the service card. As Billy is buying a round of drinks, Karen informs him that Mitch has gone to have a bit of time to himself, which has just happened to be half an hour! She's longing for all of her family to be together - just for one day! As then that Tiffany approaches with the news that Gray is at Whitney's trail, Karen is disbelief at first and tells her that she must be mistaken, it's only then that she confirms that it was Sonia who told her, and the fact that Gray is sat right next to her in court. Karen can't believe her ears, she upset that the children weren't there to say Goodbye, and now she's learned even her husband wasn't there! .... As much as I find this scene heart-breaking to watch for Karen's sake, three things have crossed my mind ... 1) Why didn't we see more of a funeral for Chantelle? She was a brilliant part of the soap and her story was so important, I felt like we should've seen more of a service for her! ... 2) Surely they must've noticed that Gray wasn't at the funeral? I mean, how could they have not noticed? I feel that could've be re-written as Karen being at the bar already in devastation and anger at her Son-In-Law not being at his wife's funeral? ... and 3) Isn't it funny how it just so happens to be Whitney's funeral the day of Chantelle's funeral? Easy escape for Gray to make really wasn't it?! ... I don't know, what do you guys think?!
Anyway, at the Prince Albert, Ash has returned from seeing Jags. Iqra joins her girlfriend for support. But their meeting is interrupted by Habiba, bless her - she's all smiles and hoping to hear news from Ash that her boyfriend is going to be released. Ash sadly gives her the news that Jags has confessed to the attack on Martin and the police have evidence. Habiba is saddened to hear this news, she insists it's all lies - of course Ash is aware of this but she can't let Habiba know the truth. She leaves the bar in distress and Ash insists Iqra goes after her sister.
Back on the Square, Frankie tries to catch up with Mick. She asks whether she's going to get time to speak to him. Of course Mick is on edge right now, he informs her he's just been to a funeral. She tries her best one last time to get through to him, she's his daughter and he needs to make the effort to spend time with her and get to know her, she's his child whether he likes it or not! As she walks away, we can he feels deeply sorry for the way he spoke to her, suddenly Max appears - definitely the last person Mick wants to see right now. He wastes no time and instructs Max to stay away from him and his wife, informing him that Linda has told him about their kiss. Max's attempt of an apology is to say he was drunk - but Mick isn't having any of it, he raises a glass bottle to Max in a threatening manner, warning him to stay away and calling him a predator! In frustration he flings the glass bottle in the other direction and it smashes against the Queen Vic wall and he walks away taking deep breaths.
The last scene of this episode, we finish at Whitney's trial, the jury - seen by video links - are listening to judge explaining that Leo had been called a terrifying stalker, how he'd threated Whitney and made her life a misery -  but Whitney has confessed to the killing, and if it was such an accident, why didn't she call the emergency services? But once again, as the judge explains this to the jury, Gray can't keep it together and continues to shout out to the court, stating that they don't care about the facts and that if Whitney had the chance she'd do it again! As Gray is escorted out of the room, Whitney begs him to stop, but he continues to shout out as he leaves the room. Both Whitney and Sonia are left in absolute shock! Has he made things far more worse for Whitney?
Once again, I apologise for the lateness of this post! I'll be back tomorrow following tonight's episode! Thanks again everyone! I hope you all have a brilliant weekend! xXx

"What Do I Get?" ...  "Me!"
Friday 11th September 2020
Good evening everyone! So sorry for the late post, I was away from my laptop over the weekend and I've only had now to catch up with Friday's episode! I've decided that tomorrow I will do two posts, one following up tonight's episode and obviously the second one following Tuesday's episode! I want to make sure my blog is up date as much as possible. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.
Let's look back at the episode in hand, you will remember that Thursday's episode ended with Vinny attacking Martin in the Minute Mart after he was caught fleeing from Ruby's club. The episode started exactly where the last one finished off, Martin is lying on the floor unconscious, poor Vinny is worried and panicking about what he has just done, he calls his brother Jags for help! How is Vinny going to get himself out of this?!
Back at the Vic, Ian has just poured his heart out to Sharon, revealing that he has fallen in love with her, and he's adamant that she feels the same way about him. To his devastation, she admits that she loves him as a dear friend and as someone she trusts, but not in the way he is thinking. Poor Ian so confused, I'm sure he's feeling completely taken aback, especially after the lies Dotty filled his head with. Ian states to Sharon that she gave him all sorts of looks and signs and signals that that was how she felt about him, but I think it comes to the realisation that he accidentally misread them. Sharon assures him that nothing needs to change and they can still carry on how things are, but to Ian's dismay, he feels as though everything has changed between them now - how can he carry on living with her knowing she doesn't feel the same way about him?!
At the Atkins household, we last saw Gray approach Chantelle about her wedding ring. He is unaware that she pawned it so she could get some money to get away. She's come up with the story to tell him that the stone in the ring had come lose, so she's going to have it fixed. He is constantly questioning her, asking her why she hadn't told him in the first place, he lunges at her a smacks the table in a rage. Softly, out of fear, she says she'll have the ring back in a few days and she also questions him back - Asking him whether he thinks she took it off because she's fallen out of love with him? Only his snide comment back is "Can you blame me?!" ... As they're trying to talk things through, their daughter Mia walks into the room, nearly giving away Chantelle's escape plan. Chantelle tries to swerve Gray off the suspicion and says she'll take the children out for the afternoon while he does his work at home. Gray then goes into Chantelle's bag, takes out her purse and car keys and gives her only a £10 note to spend and says "The should be more than enough!" - he walks away with her purse and car keys, leaving her with no choice but to come back home!
Back at the Minute Mart, Vinny is waiting for his brother, only for his Mother, Suki, to walk in. She sees Martin lying on the floor and begins to ask questions. She tells him that he needs to flee and act as if he wasn't there and doesn't know a thing. Jags follows behind her, she tells him they all need to get their story straight and instructs Jags to wipe the CCTV. Whatever the plan Vinny and Ruby had, Ruby doesn't want to go ahead with it anymore, she's seen phoning Vinny claiming it was a mistake! Could they both be in big trouble for what they were going to do?! Is Martin going to realise who it was he chased and ended up being attacked by? What I also want to know is, what does Suki have anything to do with the situation? Why is she getting involved? I've said it before and I'll say it again - i'm convinced there's much more to the Panesar family that we haven't seen yet. I'm really intrigued to see if we'll find out anymore about their past and why they came to Walford!
Callum is still clearly feeling disappointed in Ben for lying to him. Ben is pleading for Callum to help him and his Dad and asks him to try and get the CCTV footage of him wiped. Callum scoffs and can't believe what his boyfriend is asking of him, Callum has worked hard to get where he is in the Police, how could his partner ask him to jeopardise his career? Callum states to Ben that all he cares about is himself and his Dad, he always seems to come second best. What relationship are they going to have when it's all based on lies?! Callum leaves leaving Ben looking guilty, worried and panicked. Is this another bump in the road that Ballum will be able to overcome?
Back over at The Vic, Dotty decides to make an appearance, even though she's not welcomed with smiles. Sharon immediately tells her to leave but Dotty can't help but make fun of Ian. Acting with pride and sarcasm, asking him if he really believed that Sharon actually loved him. Ian just bows his head in embarrassment, for a split second there is silence as the locals listen in and react to what they've just heard. Max, who is sat on the other side of the room, tells Ian to just ignore her as Dotty leaves with a smug grin on her face. I think it's then that Ian realises he's been made a fool of and been lead to believe something which isn't true. Everyone is sticking up for him, Sharon and Max are all saying that Dotty is just talking rubbish - even though part of me is thinking that Max isn't going to be best buddies with Ian when he realises that Ian bought the Vic with his share of the restaurant. Later on upstairs, Ian is packing his things away, Sharon is trying to persuade him that nothing has to change and that he can stay, but Ian is having none of it - he blames her for leading him on, being too intimate and being with each other over lock-down. Sharon apologises deeply for giving her friend the wrong impression but she can't seem to realise that she's done anything wrong - which to be fair, she hasn't - I'm sure she thought Ian was there for her just out of support and for genuinely being a good friend. Ian then confesses "I bought you a pub!" - that was another reason he bought it for her, because he loved her! It's only then Sharon realises that his feelings for her really do run deep!
Meanwhile, Ruby has been trying to get hold of Martin, she noticed Vinny from across the Square and he shoots off. Ruby then looks down the Square to see an ambulance, as she gets closer, she realises it's Martin lying in the back of it. She rushes to be at his side. Suki tells her not to worry and that she was the one who called the ambulance. As Ruby looks on worryingly, Ash approaches her Mum and asks her what has happened. Suki then instructs her quietly, as she looks over Ash's shoulder in the distance to the Police, to say that Vinny was with her all day if anyone asks her any questions. Ash looks confused but then as she looks behind her to see the police, she understands she needs to do as her Mum tells her.
At home, Ben is waiting for Callum to return. As he walks in, it's clear they are both reeling from the information that they've both been made aware of. Ben is the one who breaks the ice and instantly apologises to his boyfriend for lying and for putting him in a terrible situation. He admits he's messed everything up, Callum is silent and listens carefully as Ben makes his apology. Ben begins to explain the whole situation regarding his Dad and Danny, even mentioning the moment when Danny had a gun and that was when he lost his hearing. He compliments Callum and basically thanks him for being so loving and caring towards him when he was going through the most difficult time in his life, and that because of that he couldn't bring himself to tell him what had happened and upset him. He states that he doesn't want to lose his partner because of it. Callum instantly tells him that that is not going to happen, it's then that Ben sighs and says to him "I do not deserve you!", this is such a beautiful Ballum moment, Callum smiles slightly and agrees that finally that that is something they can both agree on. Ben sighs and then goes to the draw and pulls out the box containing the house key, instantly Callum is shocked and begins to ask whether it could be something else, Ben explains that he was going to do it the day before, before anything happened but obviously he couldn't ... he opens the box - "Move in with me, Cal!" ... for a split moment, it looks as if Callum is about to smile a huge smile - but then he says "How do I know you've not just done that now? Thinking that it would fix everything!" - Ben is left devastated, his lips curl and he places the box on the kitchen table, softly saying "Stupid idea!" and walks out! Callum is left staring at the box. At his point, I do feel sorry for Ben, he's trying to do everything he can to make it up to his partner, but he just doesn't seem to be having any of it.
Outside on the Square, Chantelle is looking defeated. Her daughter Mia asks her whether or not they'll be going on their adventure. Chantelle sadly shakes her head and tells her daughter that it wont be today, she also asks her not to mention it to their Daddy either. Mia smiles and says "I'm good at keeping secrets!" - Mitch then joins Chantelle and the children in the garden and says that he's booked them a holiday for the following day, and even though he understands that Gray may not be able to get the time off work, he would love it if Chantelle and the kids would go with him. Chantelle's face lights up - could this be the opportunity she needs to finally get away? It would be the perfect excuse to get away from Gray and it will also be the best opportunity she could get to make her escape plan work! She agrees and tells her children that they'll still be going on their adventure!
Okay - just putting it out there!!! Does anyone think something is going to happen between Tina and Frankie?! I can just see it happening. Tina isn't fond of Frankie to begin with, saying to Peter that her disability isn't going to help when it comes to serving drinks to a bar full of people. Frankie then proves her point to Tina and deals with a situation with some customers. She gets them to leave the bar and smiles at Tina - "Happy?" - Tina is then seen looking closely at Frankie. Is she going to slowly start getting feelings for the girl, and with Frankie somehow going to be getting closer to the Carter family, will she perhaps take advantage of Tina's feelings and lead her on, just to get closer to Mick, Ollie and the family?! Who knows?!
Back at the Mitchell house, Ben walks in a room where Callum is on his own, just thinking to himself. He says to Ben that he hates everything that is going on. He hates not being able to trust his own boyfriend. Once again, Ben tries his best to apologise - trying to explain that he didn't think, he was trying to protect his lover but also the fact that he was worried that Callum would put his career before him. Callum again tells his boyfriend that he loves him, they both share a smile at each other and Callum begins to get back to matter at hand. He informs Ben that CID will have the CCTV footage back in a few days time and he can try and delay it. The only way that they can move Ben away from the scent and the one thing that will stop Ben from going on the run, is if they decide to set Danny up and get him to go to the police without him knowing. Callum looks in shock, but perhaps it could be the only way of getting Ben and Phil out of trouble?!
The Panesar family are reeling over recent events and what Vinny has done. Ash is angry at her family for getting her involved and making her lie to the Police. Suki is basically telling them all to agree to the same story. Kheerat is trying to keep the peace saying that everything will be fine if they all say the same thing. Ash is angry and leaves the room. Suki instructs Vinny to change his clothes, it's only when she also leaves the room that Jags approaches his brother and asks him whether he's sick of things happening and that everything they do - there's always a victim. He reveals that he and Habiba had been seeing each other, but after he took her to one of his jobs to collect rent, she dumped him. I think that Jags is slowly starting to realise that the way he's been living his life, is not normal. I think it's clear that the Panesar family have been involved in horrendous things and it looks as if Jags is wanting to change his ways. He couldn't believe he could have someone as beautiful as Habiba, and now she's dumped him, he can see that the family do is wrong. He pulls out a poker chip and says that Kheerat can now have it, it used to bring him luck but he no longer wants it and maybe Kheerat needs more of the luck if he's going to be staying with the family  He says to his brother that he is going to change his ways and he's going to do everything he can to win Habiba back.
The last scene of the episode, Chantelle is whispering on her phone. At first we're not too sure who it is she's speaking to, until she makes her way down the stairs of her front door and Kheerat approaches her. She says to him that he's not supposed to be there, but he confesses he can't help but worry about her and making sure she's okay. He claims that he and Chantelle both know that there is something between them, Chantelle doesn't deny it, but she begs him to go before Gray sees. He pulls out the poker chip Jags gave him and tells her that he wants her to have it, and that any time she wants to cash it in, to give it back to him. She looks a little confused to begin with, she asks "What do I get?" ... Kheerat then leans in and smiles, "Me!" and places it in her palm. Chantelle encloses it with fist and fingers and as he walks away, she's left with a soft smile on her face. Will Chantelle find a way to confide in him before it's too late? Will Gray find the poker chip? Will the poker chip be found at the scene when Chantelle sadly passes away?
I feel the poker chip is going to be something important, either it'll go missing, Gray will find it, Kheerat will find it and some how, some way - it will come to light about Chantelle's abuse at the hands of her husband. I do believe eventually Kheerat will find out and he'll do anything to get justice for her. What do you guys think? I apologise once again for this post being so late, but I promise there will be two blog posts tomorrow! Thanks again for reading, it truly means the world. Thank you everyone xXx

"Have A Lovely Evening!”
Thursday 17th September 2020
Good evening everyone! I am very aware that I am very far behind right now, my apologies for being incredibly late. I don't think I've ever been behind with episodes this much before. Due to being away from my laptop/computer for about 4 days, I've not been able to write up about the past 2 episodes. Of course I'm aware there is an episode to air tonight, I'm going to try my absolute best to catch up and write up my blogs as quickly as possible so I can catch up with the rest of you all.
Firstly, there have been quite a few different stories about EastEnders cast in the headlines recently, but there are three which I am quite eager to focus on. The first one being, that Jake Wood who plays the incredible Max Branning will be sadly leaving the soap after portraying the Branning brother for 15 years. I for one, will be very sad to see Max go! He's been an incredible part of the soap and has been a part of so many iconic storylines. During his time on the Square Max has had 4 marriages, 10 affairs, 4 children (2 of which have died after falling from the Queen Vic roof!), been buried alive and been framed for murder! The door, luckily, has been left open for Max to return in the future. As far as I'm aware, we've still got Max until the end of the year, apparently with him being such a huge character of the soap, his exit is expecting to be a really hard hitting BIG one! I'll be sad to see Max go, but I'm thrilled that they've left the door open for him to return one day.
Tumblr media
Secondly, it has been announced today that Lacey Turner will also be leaving the soap, only temporarily I'll add, as 4 weeks into her return on the Square, Lacey found out she was pregnant with her second child. Lacey will also be leaving on Maternity Leave at the end of the year, it is rumoured that perhaps Max and Stacey will end up leaving the Square together, with their history, who knows? Anything is possible when it comes to EastEnders. I am so thrilled for Lacey, it'll be a shame to see her leave again, but I'm sure her return will be massive when she comes back from Maternity Leave.
Tumblr media
Lastly, it's been revealed that Maisie Smith has signed up to take part in this years Strictly Come Dancing! Fans will know she took part in the Children In Need special of Strictly along with Rudolph Walker (Patrick), Ricky Champ (Stuart) and Louisa Lytton (Ruby). She ended up winning and it looks as if that she did performance so well, she's gone for doing the show properly. She has announced that she will be filming EastEnders while also doing Strictly!
Tumblr media
Right, after all the excitement of the recent EastEnders cast news, lets jump right into Thursday's episode! So as I remember, the previous episode ended with Chantelle on the Kheerat saying she was ready to cash in and be with him, little to her knowledge that Gray was standing right behind her, listening to her conversation. The episode starts right where the last one was left off, Chantelle clearly has no idea that Gray is stood right behind her as she asks Kheerat to do her the favour of grabbing the memory box from under her bed. She even gives him the security code for the alarm over the phone as Gray watches and listens. As she hangs up the phone as is given the doughnuts for the children, Gray makes his way out of café and leaves, Chantelle still none the wiser!
At the Mitchell house hold, Callum is getting ready for Stuart's Stag Do! Ben arrives with a bottle in tow, Callum is visibly surprised to see him, not even expecting him to join him at his brother's Stag night! Ben assures him that he's happy to go along. Callum decides to ask his boyfriend about the set up that he had planned for Danny, Ben reveals to him that Danny was found in a car with the stolen money in his boot and the police had arrested him. Callum is clearly relieved to her that Ben's plan actually worked, only the downside is that Phil is unaware of what has happened. Ben promised him he'd inform his Dad, but Ben deciding to let his guard down told Callum that he doesn't want to lie to his boyfriend anymore. He's going to start an be more honest with him. I think that statement meant more to Callum than anything ... the amount of times Ben has lied to Callum, to be fair he always did it to keep him from being hurt or in trouble, his heart was always in the right place, even though lying to his boyfriend hurt Callum. Meanwhile, at the police station, Danny is being questioned by police! He states to the police that he's been set up, but refuses to say by who!
At the club, Ruby is struggling as things start to fall down on top of her. Whitney sees her with her head in her hands and asks if she's alright. It's then Ruby opens up and informs Whitney of her money issues. She reveals she told Martin that she loves him, but her fears have escalated that he doesn't love her back. Plus she's also worried about the fact that she's lied to him about her money problems and he has no idea that she's struggling. Whitney advises her to do the right thing, stop lying to Martin and start telling him the truth, if he truly loves her back, he'd do anything to help! While Ruby and Whitney are having this conversation in Ruby's club, in the Vic, Martin and Kush are also having a similar conversation. Martin reveals to Kush that unfortunately nothing has come of his attack, because the person who attacked him wore a mask, it's pretty much impossible for him to know who it was who attacked him. It's then he also mentions to Kush that Ruby dropped the L-Bomb on him! Kush is also quite surprised to hear the news, but is also shocked to hear that Martin didn't say the L word back to her. Kush states that Martin needs to make up his mind, does he really want to be with Ruby? Or was he just enjoying the ride?
Also waiting in the pub to start their special celebrations are Stuart and Rainie! Can I just say how brilliant they both look? Rainie in her sparkly gold dress and veil and Stuart in his big leather jacket with the badge saying "Groom!" they both look very dapper in their party gear.
Back at the holiday destination where the Taylor family are staying, Chantelle returns with the doughnuts for her children. She's look so excited to see them, as she enters the room she asks where her children are. Karen reveals to them that Keegan and Tiffany had taken them to get ice creams, we can see that behind Chantelle there's a shadow in the hall way of something or someone lurking, as Karen reveals how excited the children are, Chantelle breathes a sigh of relief. Only then to hear a voice behind her "So am I!" Gray appears from the hall and Chantelle is suddenly is in deep shock as she sees her violent husband standing in front of her. Her face drops and she softly says that she wasn't expecting him to come. Gray instantly states that it was the children's idea, stating that they wanted him around. The first thought in Chantelle's mind is to instantly go and find them, she needs to see them! Karen stops her in her path and tells her not to worry, they'll be back soon and that they all have a fun-filled night ahead planned. Karen suggests Chantelle takes Gray to their room, Chantelle is hesitant, but when Gray makes the slight dig at her by saying "Glad someone appreciates me around here!" Chantelle pretty much trapped in a corner and feels forced to take Gray to her room.
Once in their room, Gray makes a sarcastic comment saying the room is a 5 star! Chantelle sighs and claims she knew Gray wouldn't like it. But then he smiles at her, tells her he loves the room. Chantelle is wanting to be as far away from Gray as possible, she makes an excuse to leave and let him get settled while she goes and sees the kids. Gray is then approaching her, closing the door slightly as she is forced to make a decision to either step in or out of the room, she is pretty much backed into the corner as he approaches her. Stating that he knows her, he is inside her head and warns her not to forget it! He instructs her that during their stay they'll appear all nice and happy with their family, but they will leave the following morning. Chantelle decides to agree, knowing that he'll only attack her again if she doesn't. She leaves the room and goes to see her children, the voices of the kids can be heard shouting with excitement "Mummy!" - Gray then takes it upon himself to search Chantelle's suitcase. At first, all you can see are the children's belongings such as toys and clothes, but then as he searches deeper into the case, he finds her make-up bag with poker chip inside. Back on the Square, Kheerat is watching the Atkins house, waiting for Gray to make an appearance, we then see Gray go to change the house alarm code on his phone. Is Kheerat going to be able to make it into the house in time before he changes the alarm?!
Back in the Mitchell's, Ben and Callum are making themselves ready for Stuart's big night! Ben is promising to give Stuart and brilliant time. Callum can see that Ben is doing everything in his power to make him happy, he smiles to himself as they leave for the party. As they leave, Callum asks his boyfriend if his offer of him moving in still stands. Ben smiles and nods, "Of course!", Callum smiles back, "I'd better get packing then!" - at the one moment in their life, they're happy and looking forward to the future. Ben begins to lead the way, only to be stopped in his tracks by the police and ends up being arrested for armed robbery. Has Danny actually decided to grass Ben up?! Callum can only wait and watch as his boyfriend is taken by his boss! He takes a sneaky look around the corner of a wall while Ben goes to sit in the police car, only quickly turns away when boss looks around. Has he been seen and will his boss put two and two together? Will he question Callum's involvement with Ben?!
While all this is happening out on the Square, in the Vic both Stuart and Rainie are looking miserable as they sit and wait for their friends and family to come and join them for their parties. Rainie assures Stuart with Callum would have something up his sleeve in store for him, but Stuart feels disheartened as there literally appears to be no one around him to celebrate his Stag Do. You can see he's hurting, both of them are - as much as they are disliked people on the Square, I do believe that everyone deserves a bit of happiness and they both deserve happy Stag and Han parties. While they mope in the corner of the Vic, Ruby makes her way in and approaches Kush and Martin. Kush decides to leave them to it, but as Ruby is trying to explain herself to her boyfriend, Martin interrupts and tells her that realises how he made her feel, but not saying the L word back. Ruby instantly tells him not worry and forget about it, as that isn't what she came in to talk to him about. But Martin states that he can't forget what she's said, and he reveals to her that he feels exactly the same way about her. "I love you, too!" - A huge smile is plastered on Ruby's face! They both share a laugh and a smile as they both finally reveal their feelings for one another. Suddenly, across the other side of the bar, Ian makes his way into the pub. He slams a wad of paper on the bar for Sharon to look at, she first approaches him with a smile - still trying to make amends for turning him down, only to then realise what his intentions are. He states he's got a list of all the targets he wants her to reach, she simply tries to explain to him that his targets and figures are not realistic, she tells him, basically what everyone else is thinking - it's not about the money, the whole reason why he is acting this way is because she turned him down, she instructs him that he needs to take the rejection as a man and move on! He ignores her completely and just tells her that if she can't make the money, he will find someone who will!
At the holiday home, the Taylor family are huddled together around the TV, watching an old-style, black and white horror movie. As Chantelle walks in the room to join her family, Gray smiles at her, expecting her to take a seat beside him. Chantelle walks towards her parents and grabs a seat beside her Dad, much to Gray's disappointment. As Mitch and Chantelle begin to reminisce about watching the movie together when she was younger, Gray can't help but watch and glare at Chantelle. Is he actually jealous of the relationship she has with her father?! She then tells her Dad she loves him and snuggles up to him. Part of me is thinking that while Chantelle is watching the movie, she's actually wanting to be the woman in the movie who appears to be running away from a monster. Is Chantelle thinking about how she could run away from the monster in her life?!
At the police station, Ben is now being questioned by police. He's been asked questions about whether himself and his Dad were at the scene of the crime. All Ben is answering is "No comment!" The Detective reveals that they have images of Ben on the CCTV, but once again Ben states "No comment!" the Detective then decides to end the questioning for the time being, but without being recorded, he informs Ben that Danny is willing to grass him up to the police. Ben once again tries to worm his way out, telling the Officer that he doesn't know him. It's only then when he pulls out a statement, Ben appears shaky, he reaches behind his ear (I'm unsure at this point what he's grabbing) - either grabbing at his hearing aid or the actual imprint, takes it off/out and places it on to the desk and demands to see his lawyer. Outside in the corridor, Callum and Jack are sharing a tense conversation. It looks as if Callum is asking Jack for help, whether he can find out the charges of what Ben might be facing. Jack informs him that he can't get involved, and neither should Callum. Callum claims that he can't stand back and do nothing, but Jack then advises him that if he values his career, then he should.
While the Taylors are watching their horror movie, Kheerat, back at the Square, is seen sneaking into the Atkins household. Going by the instructions that Chantelle gave him, he types in the code. Only suddenly the house alarm begins blaring. Kheerat doesn't know to do, he begins to panic and flies up the stairs. As the house alarm is going off, Gray gets a notification on his phone, he claims to Chantelle that someone has broken into their house and shows Chantelle his phone. The look on her face is concern and worry, is she worried for Kheerat's sake? She claims it must be some kind of mistake, but Gray instructs her to get ready and he informs her that they're leaving. Chantelle is of course hesitant to go, but Gray hurries her along, so she feels she has no choice but to follow him.
Back at the police department, Callum is waiting to hear news of Ben. His boss suddenly appears, surprised to see him. He does, however, reveal that he saw him at the house when they arrested Ben. He then asks the question what his involvement with Ben is. When Callum bows his head and looks to the floor, the Detective then realises the truth behind their involvement together. He starts asking quite personal questions, whether they had been together long. Callum claims that that has nothing to do with anything, but the Detective informs him that he had to let them know whether he has had a relationship with a criminal, otherwise he could end up being sacked. The Detective is very sneaky here, he claims he is happy to have caught Danny Hardcastle, he claims Ben will do but the one person he is wanting to catch, is Phil Mitchell! He asks what Callum's relationship with Phil is like, but to be fair, they haven't really made any form of relationship. This is where he starts to bribe Callum, he says that there is a way he can turn a blind eye, and get rid of the CCTV of Ben, the only thing Callum needs to do is get him Phil Mitchell! But, part of me thinks that Callum wouldn't do that! Would he turn his boyfriend's Dad in, just to save his boyfriend? Could there be some other way he can sort it? It would break Ben's heart if his boyfriend was to serve his Dad up to the police! This is interesting dilemma Callum has found himself in, what is he going to choose to do?!
Back at the holiday destination, Gray is rushing Chantelle to get them all home. Chantelle is very hesitant to go, she asks why not she and the children stay and Gray goes on his own. Gray informs her that the children are already set and waiting in the car, he claims that they're scared and wanting to go home. Chantelle is looking more and more defeated the more she tries to stay. Mitch looks as if he can see what's going on, there's a VERY important moment here when you can see he senses something. This is the moment where you feel Chantelle will finally say something! Mitch says to Chantelle that if she really wants to stay, she can, that's all she has to say. He is sure Gray can cope on his own. There's a moment of silence, the camera goes from Mitch's face, to Gray's and then Chantelle - you can see she is wanting to scream at the top of her lungs that she wants to stay with her family. Gray is looking at her from across the room with serious, dead eyes - she sighs deeply and says she'll go with Gray.  She goes to leave the room but before she goes, she turns back and says one last goodbye to her Mum and Dad. They both wish them a safe journey and say that they'll see them tomorrow. Chantelle leaves the room as Gray follows and wishes them a lovely evening.
As they leave the room, Karen sighs a heavy sigh in disappointment that they've had to leave. Mitch looks as if he knows something isn't right, but decided to stay quiet. Chantelle is seen walking along the corridor, carrying her coat in her arms, she looks lost and defeated yet again as Gray has managed to worm his way into her plans and bring her back home. Gray follows from behind and gives such an evil look, you know things are not going to be right when they get back home. Will they find Kheerat in their house? Will he have managed to escape before they return?! Only bad things are going to happen next!
I realise I am very late posting this, but I promise I will catch up within the next few days. Tomorrow I will try my very best to post up Friday's episode and tonight's episode (Monday 21st). I appreciate you all being very patient with me. I have not yet seen Friday's or tonight's episode so please, no spoilers for me! I am aware to a certain extent what happens, but there is some uncertainty at how some events occur. I'm excited yet slightly nervous to see what happens, but I hope you will enjoy me blogging about it, even if it is a little late. Thank you all for your understanding and I'll be back tomorrow! Goodnight everyone xXx

"It's Time For Her To Pay!"
Tuesday 26th January 2021
Hello again everyone! Hope you're all doing well! Monday's episode ended on such a huge cliff-hanger, I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next! Do you think we'll end up seeing more of Jed? Will he become more involved in this current storyline between Frankie, Katy and The Carter's?! It'll be interesting to hear his story, we know that he's also been sexually abused by Katy and it was revealed that he was little Harry's Father. I'm hoping EastEnders will explore his story also, but we shall have to wait and see!
Covering this episode, the first thing I want to mention is Gray, Karen and Whitney. Since Chantelle's death, Karen has been an absolute saint caring and looking after her Grandchildren, sharing stories about their Mother when she was their age, treating to lovely meals and days out. However, regardless of her ongoing kindness, it looks as if Gray is getting more and more irritated with her, it seems that from his point of view that she's simply interfering with his children's lives. Karen had gone out of her way to buy some food for the children and treat them to their favourite dinner. As she excitedly informs Gray about her plans for Mack and Mia, you can see that Gray isn't best pleased about his Mother-In-Law's idea of a balanced meal. Interestingly, Gray appears to watch Whitney from across the Square as she fools about with Kush, as he approaches her you can see he has some kind of plan working away in his brain. In an attempt to stop Karen interfering with his children, he takes it upon himself to hire Whitney as a type of Nanny I guess, who will do the cooking and cleaning for them, doing the school run etc. Karen seems a little taken back by this but Gray reassures her that it'll leave her to do more fun activities with the children, taking them to the cinema or park. Karen agrees to Gray's decision but I feel that you can see deep down that she's slightly disappointed. The only thing I want to ask is, will Gray stick to his promise? Will he still allow her to see her Grandchildren?! I'd hate for Karen to be Gray's next victim, lets just hope that in time Gray's mask will slide and everyone will know about Chantelle and Tina!
The second thing I want to mention is Kathy. Being a Mother, it's only understandable why she's concerned for Ian. Not hearing from him for the past 2 days and the fact no one has any idea where he's disappeared to, he has simply upped and vanished. For a second time she confronts Sharon, convinced that she knows more than she's letting on. As Kathy goes to speak to Sharon, Peter voices that he's not the slightest bit worried about his Dad. His whole persona is "He doesn't care about us, why should we care about him?!". Regardless of his brother's attitude, Bobby does also seemed concerned for his Dad, acknowledging that has been missing for 2 days and no one knows where he is! He hasn't been in touch with anyone. Eventually when Kathy catches up with Sharon, she claims that Sharon knows where Ian has gone. I mean to be, she doesn't know where he's disappeared to, but the only information she does give Kathy is that they had a row and he simply took off. It's then that Kathy makes the very valid point that Ian hasn't taken any money with him and he only left with the clothes that he was wearing. Suddenly as soon as Kathy mentions contacting the police, Sharon attempts to reassure Kathy that Ian will be fine wherever he his, but then Bobby appears announcing he's already reported his Father as missing and the police are waiting for them to go the station to give a statement. Is Sharon's secret about to come to light?!
Thirdly, tensions are visibly rising between Honey and Jay! As they're sat with Janet as she makes celebratory cards for Ben and Callum for Ben's upcoming proposal, it's clear that Honey and Jay can't keep their eyes off of each other. They agreed that they want to give their relationship a go, but trying to be subtle about it is pretty difficult. As they reach out to take a hold of each other's hands, both Billy and Lola burst into the room, causing them to stop in their actions. However, it looks like Lola has an idea as what was about to happen, she glares at them with evil eyes as Billy interreacts with his daughter. Later on in the Vic, whilst Honey and Jay are alone enjoying a drink, Lola approaches them informing them she can no longer hide their secret from her Pops anymore. She makes a very valid point, how is it going to look when Billy realises that she knew about their secret, it would destroy him even more. She gives them an ultimatum, informing them that they need to inform Billy about their romance by the end of the week, and if they don't tell him, she will!
I think in my previous post I mentioned that I was finding Chelsea's storyline quite difficult to follow, sometimes I think it's quite difficult to tell whether she genuinely cares for her Father, or whether it's all a big act just to keep him on side. What do you guys think? Anyway, she takes it upon herself to visit the church in which Denise took Raymond and unfortunately spotted Lucas. She informs the minister that she hasn't seen her Dad for days, considering he's lawing low since his attack to keep her safe. She pleads to the minister to tell her what he knows. It looks as if the minister gives her information which leads her to a food bank of some kind, there we see Lucas grabbing some food and carrying rucksack - Is he homeless? Has he been sleeping rough? Lucas is stunned to see his daughter. After having a brief catch up, Chelsea heads back home to seek help from her Mother, however Denise is less than impressed when she asks whether Lucas could stay at her house for the time being. Denise states that if Lucas is meant to be lying low, then the best way for him to do that would be sleeping rough. She even attempts to remind her daughter that Lucas killed his ex-wife and then attempted to kill, why on Earth would she allow a murder into her home? Especially when she has young Raymond to think about! Unfortunately, Denise and Chelsea's heated discussion turns into a blazing row, which causes Denise to to yell at her daughter that she wants nothing to do with Lucas, to which Chelsea responds with that she wants nothing to do with her before storming out of the house. Interestingly, Patrick and Kim seem to overhear the commotion, whereas Kim completely agrees with her sister, Patrick has another suggestion - if Denise is continuously worrying about her daughter, wanting to know that she's safe and wanting to keep an eye on her, maybe the only way to do that would to allow Lucas to stay at their home. As he states "Keep your enemies close!"
The final thing I need to mention is Mick! After learning in the previous episode that Jed is also one of Katy's victims, it only feels right if Linda informs her husband. Gently she brings up the subject of going to the cemetery with Frankie the previous day, Mick seems surprised but allows his wife to explain. She informs him that it was just Frankie, herself and Jed - Katy went up separately, so she didn't see her. She eventually explains that she began to ask Jed about his relationship with Katy and Harry, and reveals to her husband that Jed was actually Harry's Father, he's 29 now which means that that Jed was actually 13 when Katy gave birth to Harry. Mick looks absolutely sick to his stomach as he realises that he's not just the only one who Katy abused, but then Linda drops the next bombshell that there are in fact more and not just him and Jed! Later on in the episode, Frankie visits her Father, questioning whether Linda had gone to the police after learning the truth about Jed, but interestingly Mick seems to inform her about when Linda was attacked by Dean - not going into too much detail, but explaining that she was attacked by someone who they thought wasn't all bad and was also a member of their family - getting to the point that when she informed the police it took a lot out of the family but it felt right for Linda, meaning that if Mick was to go to the police about Katy, it might help him cope. Frankie seems devastated as she realises her Father is leaning towards reporting Katy to the police, informing him that he only wants what's best for him and no one else matters, not even considering Jed. Later we see Mick walking through the Square, as he does, he notices Will playing on his own with a football - you seem to realise how innocent Will is, he has no cares in the world and just pure happiness - you seem to realise that Mick was robbed of his childhood because of Katy. Later when Linda finds him in the Vic, he reveals how felt while watching Will play, it seems to hit him hard that he was only Will's age when he was abused. It's at this point I think that now Mick knows that there are more victims, Katy needs to pay for what she's done, not just to him but to Jed and anyone else she has done it to!
Will Mick go to the police and report Katy? With all these separate storylines going on at once, I am really intrigued to see how each one plays out. What will happen between Honey and Jay, will they build up the courage to tell Billy about their romance?! What is REALLY going on with Chelsea and will Denise be able to cope with Lucas living under her roof?! I genuinely can't wait to see what happen next! EastEnders is getting better and better I think, the stories are really hard-hitting, gripping and intriguing that make you want to see the outcome. Thank you all for reading, I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week! Please feel free to leave me any comments or messages and I'll always respond! Thanks again folks! Love you all xXx

I’m A Celeb!
Hello everyone! I know I’m late to the party once again, but due to being in work till late last night I’ve only managed to get round to watching I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.
Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, instead of being in Australia this year, the campmates have ventured to Abergele in the North of Wales in a castle named, Gwrych Castle. I’m sure you’ve all been made aware by now that not one, but two EastEnders stars have signed up to be part of the show.
Ex-EastEnders stars Shane Ritchie (Alfie Moon) and Jessica Plummer (Chantelle Atkins) have signed up to take part in this years I’m A Celeb!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And what a kick start to the show it was! Half of the campmates found them selves having to abseil down a rocky cliff to collect their bags, but only if they were to answer questions correctly about the group, would they be able to unlatch the bags from the cliff. The other half of the team had to help them out while they watched on from the rocks below. They successfully completed their task and were then taken to their final destination of the castle, where they’ll be staying in camp.
Shortly after making themselves comfortable in the camp, Ant & Dec approached the group and informed them that that very night they would all be facing a bush tucker trial, named The Gates To Hell, together as a group. The trail involved the campmates being locked in individual chambers whilst they passed gold stars to each other from one end of the chamber to the other, whilst also being covered in all sorts of insects including crickets, maggots and cockroaches. They successfully managed to get 7 out of 10 stars.
The following day, Ant & Dec once again joined the group and announced that the votes for the following bush tucker trial were in and revealed that Shane Ritchie would be taking part along with camp mate Jordan North.
My first reaction to the show has been pure excitement, this year has a brilliant line up of camp mates and I have to be honest, I’m looking forward to seeing how Shane and Jessica get on. I’m sure the majority of you will know that last years winner was Jacqueline Jossa (Lauren Branning)!
Tumblr media
How amazing would it be if a fellow EastEnders cast member was to win it again this year! Are you routing for Shane or Jessica? Or both of them?! Do you think they’ll end up doing many trials?! Are you excited for this series as much as I am! Please feel free to leave a comment or message me! I’d love to hear your thoughts! Team Shane or Team Jess?! Either way, let’s hope one of them will come out the champion of I’m A Celeb 2020! xXx

"Anyone'd Think You Ain't Pleased To See Me!"
Monday 21st September 2020
Hello again folks! I've decided, seeing as I've had a lot of catching up to do, I'll do last night's episode tonight and tonight's episode tomorrow. That way I should be all updated for Thursday and Friday! The previous episode was such a hard hitting one, very powerful and the performances from all the cast were phenomenal!
Of course, this episode is going to focus on the aftermath of the events of Chantelle's death. I am once again feeling excited yet nervous to see what's in store. So let's get straight to it! The episode opens up with soft music being played, the imagery is all blurry as we can flashing blue lights. As the image becomes clear, the camera approaches the Atkins household which appears to have blue police tape all around it. The camera moves to left as Kheerat exits his house and sees all the commotion on the Square. He clearly has no idea what has happened the night before, as he sees a body bag being wheeled out of the Atkins home, he is clearly shaken and visibly devastated by what he has seen. He knows deep down that is Chantelle's body they're moving from the crime scene.
Meanwhile Gray at the police station, has he been arrested? We can see him changing his clothes as his personal belongings have been bagged by the police. While he's there, his home being photographed, the crime scene is being investigated. The investigators are taking pictures the glass of water on the counter, the dishwasher door, the children's toys (which we know were placed by Gray!) The children are being looked after by Whitney, of course to keep them from seeing the scary police men investigating their home, she has taken them to the cafe! Mia can be seen drawing, Whitney asks what it is, the little girl holds her drawing up "Just Curly Queen!" - are the children aware of what's happened to their Mum? They must be, obviously they wont know the full details, everyone will do everything they can to keep them from finding out that Daddy killed Mummy.
In Ruby's club, Ruby is still having problems with her money. Someone or something is clearly taking money from her account, she insists that it's not her who is doing these big transactions. She's shouting down the phone when Martin enters the room, he asks if there's a problem and if there's anything he can do to help. Ruby once again lies to him, keeping him from the fact that she is slowly going skint! She instead tells him the issue has to do with one of her suppliers. Martin falls for the story, and suggests that he and Ruby take Arthur out for the day. Ruby at first is unsure, of course due to her money worries, but Martin insists that it'll be his treat.
Meanwhile, in the Mitchell house hold, Callum receives a message from his boss, asking whether he had made his mind up about bringing in Phil Mitchell to him or not. Of course, Callum doesn't want to turn his boyfriend's Dad in. Suddenly Phil can be heard entering the house from the back, he and Ritchie enter the kitchen, you can make out that instantly Phil is worried about his boy. He's worried whether he'll be charged for his involvement in the robbery. Ritchie explains that clearly Ben was thinking that it was either Danny Hardcastle or him, Phil is distraught to hear that Ben didn't follow his advice. But the next thing that Ritchie says really does surprise me, "How much do you trust the boyfriend?!" - Instantly I am thinking that that is the most ridiculous statement to make, Callum has said over and over again how much he loves Ben, of course he doesn't want to see his boyfriend banged up. But in all seriousness, has Phil even gotten to know Callum properly? Not really, so of course because Callum has now joined the police, he's going to put two and two together and think it was all a plan, perhaps Callum pretended to love Ben just so he could get him arrested? Us as viewers know of course that that's not the situation at all, but who knows what's going through Phil's mind right now?!
Back at the police station, Gray is being questioned by the police. As far as I can tell he's only told the police that he and his wife have come back from a family holiday in Southend. Suddenly as he's explaining to the police, it dawns on him that none of the Taylor family have been told. The next thing we see is Karen and Mitch arriving back to the Square, Karen exits the car holding a huge big bunny teddy bear. The first thing she claps her eyes on is the police tape round the Atkins house and all the flowers and tributes left for Chantelle outside the house. She knows instantly that something has happened, she drops the teddy and suddenly every noise around her goes all muffled. Gray can be heard giving his events of the night, explaining he went out to get milk for her hot chocolate. While Karen is slowly making her way towards the house, you can see the figure of Billy approaching her in the background, he's clearly calling out to her but she doesn't seem to hear a word he says.
As Karen gets closer and closer to the scene of the crime, her bottom lip begins to quiver, she shakes her head in disbelief as we hear Gray lie to Police and say that when he got back to the house, she was already dead. Karen makes her way under the police tape and notices a drawing of Chantelle from one of her children on the railings, it becomes clear to her what has happened and she whimpers as she slowly sobs. Gray also sobs to the Detective, "My beautiful girl - dead!"
Back at the club, Ruby is joined by Martin, Kat is working away, cleaning in the background. Ruby has been struggling with money the past few weeks and it's only now Martin has clocked on that something isn't right. He asks her straight out whether she is having a problem with money, it's then she comes clean to her boyfriend that someone is stealing her money. Someone somewhere has made an account in Ruby's name and is stealing money from her, and the only way they can steal big amounts of money from her is knowing her personal details. While Ruby is explaining this to Martin, Kat's ears prick up and she listens in to their conversation. Does she know who could potentially be taking Ruby's money? As Martin as hearing the news his girlfriend is revealing to him, he clearly thinks that she is blaming him, she admits that the thought had crossed her mind, leaving Martin hurt.
OH MY GOD!!!!!!! SHE'S BACK!!!!!! The next scene we see Stacey, the Queen herself - she's holding up a piece of jewellery and she claims she thinks ruby's are tacky, but she'll take the necklace anyway, she hands over the card and assistant says "Thank you Miss. Allen!" - It's Stacey who's nicking Ruby's money! First thing I'm wondering is how and why?! Of course they're friends, but clearly news must have gotten back to her that Ruby has moved in on her ex-husband Martin. I am so delighted to see Stacey back, it's been a long time coming!!!
In the cafe, Callum is talking with Jack about Chantelle, he asks how Denise has taken the news. Jack reveals that Denise is in bits, she's devastated for the children also. Callum can't even begin to get his head round it, it looks as if no one can, Jack is visibly devastated as he mentions Denise. Callum asks Jack one of the most important questions next to Jack, "How do cope though, with someone you love that much, just dropping out of your life like that?" - Jack takes a sigh and responds "You learn to live with it!" - as viewers will know, he lost the love of his life, Ronnie, on their wedding day. Ronnie sadly drowned trying to save her sister, Roxy, from drowning in a hotel spa swimming pool. Ronnie jumped in the pool in her wedding dress, but the dress and veil was so big and heavy she got dragged down and drowned along side her sister. As far as I'm aware, Callum never knew Ronnie, so Jack can fully understand how the Taylor's are feeling, perhaps in his mind, Gray also. The conversation then changes to Jack asking whether he had spoken to Ben, Callum reveals he hasn't. Jack then advises him to keep it that way, he explains to him the less that he's involved the better, otherwise it could jeopardize his whole career. Callum tries his best to explain that he can't just turn his back on his boyfriend, Jack seems to come to the conclusion that Callum is free to do whatever he chooses to do, but he does warn him to be prepared.
Oooo a place we've no seen for a while, in the Slater's household Kat is seen on the phone to Stacey. Kat knows it was Stacey who was nicking Ruby's money. She's shouting at her down the phone, trying to persuade her not to carry on, because it looks as if Ruby might get the police involved, but Stacey doesn't care. Stacey hangs up the phone. While Kat and Stacey have been having this conversation, Kush has been overheard some slight bit of information. He asks Kat straight out why Ruby would have the police after Stacey. Kat can no longer hide, she needs to come clean. She reveals to him that Stacey just borrowed a little bit to begin with, but then Kat informed her about Ruby and Martin and suggested she'd take revenge. So Stacey started nicking larger amounts from Ruby's account. While Kat is giving Kush this information, little Arthur can be seen making his way down the stairs, as all little children do, they hear things they shouldn't really hear. Kat also drops the bombshell on Kush that the money used for pay the rent on his stall was also money used from Ruby's account. Kush instantly instructs Kat to phone Stacey back and tell her to come back to Walford, because the situation needs to be resolved now before it gets any worse!
In the Square, Callum finally bumps into Phil. This is the moment I think Callum respects Phil, he explains that Callum should've stopped him from going ahead with his plan, but Callum is ready to defend himself and reveals to Phil that he suggested to Ben he'd speak to him first. I think Phil realises that Callum does have Ben's interests at heart, he's trying to be the decent boyfriend and stand by him. Callum throws the blame on Phil, if Ben hadn't have wanted to prove himself the big man to his Dad then he wouldn't be caught up in all this mess. Phil sighs and admits to Callum that he has made some mistakes with Ben in the past. He explains that Ben was very young the first time he was sent to prison, he feels sad for his son that he might've missed out on some of the best years of his life, but there's nothing he can do that can change the past but all he will do is hope that he doesn't make the same mistakes.
Back at the Taylors, all the family members are absolutely devastated to learn about the passing of Chantelle. Bernie is seeing tearfully cradling the big teddy bear. Karen is on the phone to police wondering why the Police have kept Gray in for questioning, wanting to know whether he's going to be charged. Keegan is in his room down the hall from his Mum, Mitch enters his room to check if he's okay, he explains he's going to go and see Bailey so he can tell her face to face, and then he'll pick up Chantelle's children so they can all be together as they grieve. Keegan's voice breaks as he explains to his Dad that because they all left so quickly, he never got a chance to say goodbye to his sister. That moment, I found really heart-breaking. Chantelle was always caring for her younger brother, looking out for him and making sure he was okay. Keegan would obviously be absolutely broken by the lost of his big sister.
While the Taylors are grieving on one side of the Square, Kheerat is also struck with grief as he repeats the voice message from Chantelle on his phone, over and over again. Suki walks in on him listening to the voice message, she tries her best to console her son, explaining that he needs to stop listening to the message and try and move on. Kheerat knows he can't back away from this, he knows something isn't right - he can tell be the stress in her voice, he knows that Gray made her make that call. Suki is in shock and she seems to realise that her son is suggesting that Gray might've killed her. Kheerat is sobbing as he explains to his Mum that he had fallen in love with Chantelle, that their plan was to run away together. I love how Kheerat is explains it all, he's right - it can't be a coincidence that the night he sneaks into the Atkins house to grab a memory box for her, for then to be sent a voice message from her and then for her to pass away so suddenly, for all those events to have happened in the same night, something just doesn't make sense. I really do hope that Kheerat will be the one to expose Gray, he will find out what's happened and he will do everything in his power to get justice for Chantelle.
Back at the club, Martin is spending some time with little Arthur, Ruby walks in and gives him daggers as she makes her way behind the bar. Martin pretty much demands an apology from Ruby. He explains to her that the only money he gets from her is his wages he'd paid at the end of the month and that's it! But Ruby instantly mentions the day out he has planned, she questions him on how he'll be able to afford it. To prove he's being honest with her, he pulls out a load of vouchers from his back pocket and plonks them on the counter in front of her, she instantly feels guilty for even thinking it could be him. She apologises and Martin explains that if someone was stealing her money she should go straight to the police. It's only then little Arthur speaks and reveals what he has overheard "Mummy does! Mummy stole your money!" ..... Okay, as cute as that was, part of me kind of thinks, a child of Arthur's age, how would he know? If you were in that situation, wouldn't you sit them down quietly and try and get them to explain what they mean? It's a big accusation to make, but of course, Arthur doesn't understand what he's just said, he's just repeating words that he's heard. Martin and Ruby look in shock as they realise there could be some truth in what the little boy is saying.
On the Square, a police car is pulling up with Gray in the backseat. Have the police let him go, for now? Mitch watches from a distance as Gray leaves the car and looks at the scenery around the house. On the other side of the Square, Kheerat turns the corner and watches as Gray turns around and they both stare at each other. Mitch watches on and looks in the direction of where Gray is looking and clocks Kheerat, again both men share a look from across the Square as they watch as Karen falls into Gray's arms and they both sob.
Next, Callum is seen leaving the police station, his boss calls after him as he walks away from the building. At first the conversation focuses on the death of Chantelle, Callum informs the Detective that he didn't know Gray or Chantelle that well but knows that they are both very likeable people. His boss then turns the conversation to his offer. Callum admits to his boss that he can't do what he's asking, it would tear Ben apart if he was to grass his Dad up to the police. His boss then warns Callum, "Have you got any idea what they do to grasses in prison? I'll charge him tomorrow morning, you've got until then!" Callum really doesn't know what to do for the best, part of me hopes he doesn't grass up Phil! It's going to be the worse thing he could do for all involved if he does!
The last scene of the episode, we're back in the middle of the Square, Ruby is making her way through the street as Kat is watching her, Ruby approaches her and Kat mocks that she's not walking up to give her bonus. Ruby then reveals to her that she knows, she knows exactly who's been stealing from her. She wants to know exactly where she is, of course Kat plays dumb and asks "Who?" As this conversation goes on, in the background we see a call pull up, a ladies foot is exposed as someone leaves the car. Ruby is determined to get information out of Kat, suddenly, Stacey makes herself known - walking up to them both like a model on a cat walk! All glammed and looking absolutely fabulous! Ruby watches in shock as her ex-friend makes herself know, Kat watches with the most tiniest little grin on her face. Stacey is back with an almighty bang!!
I'm really excited to see what's going to go down between Ruby and Stacey, they were once the best of friends and now they look like they can't seem the bare the sight of each other. As I've explained, I will follow up tonight's episode tomorrow, and I will do Thursday's episode on Friday as unfortunately, I am back in work. I will do my absolute best and keep up to date for the rest of the week. Enjoy folks and I'll be back very soon! xXx

"... Charged With The Attempted Murder Of Ian Beale!"
Monday 21st December 2020
Hello again everyone, hope you're all feeling ready for the run up to Christmas, the big day is getting closer and closer and honestly, the main thing I'm looking forward to - the big EastEnders Christmas episode! I hope you're all holding onto your seats because it's going to be gripping roller-coaster ride! Now lets start with the beginning of the week which kicks off it all.
--
The first thing I want to mention is Karen, Billy and Mitch! Karen has seemed to have made it perfectly clear to her family that she simply doesn't want to celebrate Christmas this year, as her and Mitch feel it's not going to be the same without their daughter, Chantelle. However, Billy is determined to cheer his girlfriend up, he's gone out of his way to spoil her on some gorgeous jewellery, as well as trying to make her laugh and cheer her up by wearing some sexy Christmas underwear, which light up and play "Jingle Bells!" Only all his effort doesn't go down well the way he hoped. Karen and Mitch are still struggling with grief for their daughter after she passed away back in September. This would be the first Christmas without her and together, they are finding it hard to cope and keep up with the Christmas spirit. I did feel for Karen during the scene were she breaks down in the kitchen, after being rallied to help with the Community Christmas Dinner. She breaks down into tears and sobs when they realise that this year it just isn't going to be the same, the recall how much Chantelle loved that time of year and how she's no longer able to celebrate it with her family. Karen states that she just want's to keep it low-key this year, which Mitch fully understands and agrees, but unfortunately, poor Billy wasn't told and carries on with his surprises for Karen. Another blow which crushes Karen is that Gray demands he has his children back on Christmas Day - even though she and Mitch had a day planned around them, regardless of not having their daughter there - I will however, come back to this.
--
The second thing I want to talk about is everything which revolves around Ian. I kind of loved the way the episode started as he watches everyone from the top window of the Queen Vic. He's watching nervously at every single suspect we're aware of - Tina, Ben, Peter & Suki! Ian is still living in fear as he's starting to realise that someone he knows actually wants him dead. After receiving two bullets, which have been hand delivered to the pub by an unknown source, Ian has been pleading for police protection. However, things seem to take a worrying turn for Ian when 3 loud bangs are heard from the Vic - to me, they clearly sounded like gunshots, the bangs causes shock to everyone on the Square, it is completely unknown what or who made the bangs. Kathy hears them from outside the pub and dashes in to find her son, finding him cowering on the floor in the corner of the Queen Vic kitchen. To try and bring her family together after everything that's happened, Kathy tries her best to convince Ben and Peter, after she finds them at the Prince Albert, to have a family Christmas, to which then Ian overhears and is really against the idea. It's then that Jack enters announcing the information that the bangs from the Vic turned out to be fireworks and not a gun, which everyone had feared. After Ian pleads for them to give him protection, both Peter and Ben reluctantly agree to Kathy's proposal. Later on in the episode Ian is rigid as he's sat around the table with his brother, Mother and two sons - all of who are suspects in the attacking. However, the topic of conversation seems to take an interesting turn when everyone seems to question Ian how the bangs came from the barrel stall, how and who could've got in there without him or Sharon seeing? There seems to be many questions being fired at Ian and he seems to get irritable with them all, however it's only when he offers to buy another round of drinks that a lighter falls out of his pocket. Ben clicks and picks it up off the floor, to everyone's shock it comes to their realisation that Ian was the one who set off the fireworks, in an attempt to make the police listen to his pleads for protection. Everyone is left feeling irritated, annoyed and - to be honest - not in the least bit surprised that once again Ian would fall to another low to try and pass the blame onto someone else.

Thirdly, I'd like to talk about Gray and Tina. Earlier on in the episode, Gray shares the exciting news with Shirley that he could have a potential lead in finding the pizza boy that they're so desperate to find to help support Tina's alibi. Although, unbeknown to her, whilst Gray shares this news with Shirley, Tina is left reeling with her own speculation about Gray. It's only when Whitney approaches and compliments how lucky she has been to have Gray take her in plus to have him on her case, she questions why everyone loves Gray? Of course, after what Kheerat warned her - Tina has been completely on her guard when it comes to Gray, she can't seem to shake the feeling that he's not all he makes out to be, and unfortunately - no one else other than her and Kheerat are the only ones who think it. Of course Whitney is going to be fighting Gray's corner as he's been nothing but supportive for her. Only something tells me that perhaps Whitney wasn't the best person for Tina to rant off to, as of course, Whitney goes running to Gray and informs him of what Tina has said - even dropping his children into the conversation. If he's such a good Dad, why are his kids living on the opposite side of the Square with their Grandparents? Now obviously, the news that Tina has been gossiping about him, is not going to sit well with Gray, it's been made aware that she hasn't really been on the right side of him for a while due to her untidiness etc etc. But this causes Gray to act and confronts his in-laws, demanding to have his children back on Christmas Day, obviously leaving them devastated. Meanwhile as he does this, Tina is at home with Shirley when they get a visit from the police, informing them that there has been new evidence found against Tina. Worryingly they take her to the station to ask her more questions, while she's there Shirley demands Gray to track down the pizza boy urgently! Eventually, it looks as though Gray has managed to track down the pizza boy, it looks as if he's going to pay him to actually be Tina's alibi - at least that's what it looks like to begin with! However when we come to see Tina in the police station, Gray has arrived and sat beside her whilst they go through her statement. It's then revealed that the evidence found against her is her DNA underneath Ian's fingernails. But then there's an even bigger blow which blows everything out of the water and looks to put Tina right at the centre of the attack - the Detective reveals that the pizza boy she previously thought could give her an alibi, has actually said that he never saw her that night! Leaving Tina completely and utterly stunned by this news, it gives the police more reason to charge her with the attempted murder of Ian!! Gray instantly looks suspicious - he clearly paid the pizza boy to lie and claim he never saw her, just to get his own back on Tina!!! Which I think is incredibly cruel!!

The final thing I'd like to mention revolves around Max, Mick and Linda. When we first see Max and Linda, they've clearly woken up after the night before - when they slept together! Max comments how much he feels that their night spent together wasn't a mistake. He makes his feelings perfectly clear that he doesn't want to be the third wheel and be the reason for another broken marriage. For a split moment, it looks as if Linda is regretting her night of passion with Max, as she admits she genuinely has no idea what she wants - as she has never in her life cheated or slept in another man's bed. It's quite devastating for all involved - even when she returns home to Mick and he asks her how her night at her "Mates" was, she simply can't respond and it's perfectly clear Mick knows exactly where she's been, when she can't answer Mick simply says "Good" to her silence! I did find this scene pretty sad - it's as if they have both just come to the realisation that their marriage is on the rocks, and to be honest, it looks as if Mick doesn't even care that his wife has fallen into the arms of another man. I think the previous Mick would've raged and lashed out, but it looks as if he's completely given up the fight for his wife. Which obviously Linda must feel the same, after everything they've been through - it's horrible to see them looking so broken. But, does Mick maybe feel that it's his fault? Does he know it's his fault that she's cheated?! Who knows? Interestingly though, for a small moment it does look like he's beginning to feel anger - as later on, he watches both his wife and Max from the kitchen window whilst they're stood talking on the Square. After staring at them for a while he returns to the kitchen table where he appears to be writing a Christmas tag for his "L", but then he decides to scribble it off and in its place write "From Ollie!"
The one thing that's made known in this episode is that Jack reveals to Max, of all people, that a piece of blue glass was found in Ian's clothing, of course you instantly think it could be some kind of booze bottle. BUT - this is where it gets even more interesting, the final scene of this episode shows Max burying the blue Lucy Beale Award. Why on Earth would he be burying it? Could it be the weapon used to attack Ian? This instantly makes Max look like the guilty party! We do know that Luisa Bradshaw-White is leaving her role as Tina. With the way this episode went, something is telling me that she'll be sent to prison for a crime she didn't do! That may end up being her exit storyline? What do you guys think? She may be in the innocent party and the attacker still could be in fact Max, Peter, Suki or Kheerat - or dare I say, even Sharon?! There are so many ways this could go, I'm really looking forward to seeing who'll be revealed as Ian's attacker!
I just want to mention, obviously over the next few days everyone is going to be spending their time with family during Christmas. It may take me until the 27th to actually catch up. I will do as much as I can post all about the Christmas episodes! You may not see me for a few days but I promise I'll be back very soon to follow up on the explosive Christmas episodes! Have a wonderful Christmas folks! Stay safe! Love you all xXx

"She's Had An Accident!"
Friday 18th September 2020
Hello again folks! I am back again with another post today, this post will be following Friday's episode. I'm not 100% sure how I feel about the episode I'm about to watch. A little excited, and yet a little nervous. I'm excited because I know it's going to be a very powerful performance from both Jessica Plummer and Toby-Alexander Smith, it's a very truthful, harrowing story that they're telling. But it's brave of EastEnders to be portraying such a sensitive subject.
I'm not going waste any of your time and just head straight into it. The episode starts with Chantelle and Gray arriving home from their holiday with the Taylor's, their house alarm is still blaring as Gray closes the front door and Chantelle tells her children to get themselves ready for bed. As Chantelle makes her way up the stairs, Gray switches off the alarm, she turns and looks at him, trying to vear him off the scent, she states that it doesn't appear that the house has been broken into. Everything is in its place, nothing has been taken.
Meanwhile, Kheerat is back at his family home. In front of him is Chantelle's memory box, he clearly was successful in doing the favour for her. I did fear he would get caught or something. He quickly shoves the memory box into a duffle bag, is going to try and perhaps run away with Chantelle? Is that what he's hoping for? Back at the house, Chantelle is saying "Goodnight" to her children, Gray watching from across the landing. She begins to explain to him that their daughter Mia is wanting her teddy from the car, is this another plan of perhaps leaving the house and getting away from him?! But before she can even begin to make her way down the stairs to leave, he instructs her to stay and to help him unpack their things.
Back at the holiday home, Karen and Mitch are sat on their own, Mitch appears to be reeling and replaying in his mind how Chantelle was acting, as if she didn't want to go with Gray, she was completely on the edge. Karen reminds Mitch that Chantelle loves her Dad, and if something was wrong, she would've said so. He decides to go for a walk and get some fresh air to clear his head, Karen tells him that if he decides to call Chantelle, to pass on her love.
At the Atkins home, Chantelle is making herself busy by sorting out the dishwasher, Gray is watching her from the shadows, he is watching her every move. He suddenly asks her what she's up to. The conversation seems to escalate pretty quick during this scene. It starts off quiet and Chantelle is going about her business and wanting to get ready for bed. Gray is stating that he wants to talk to her right now, it's only then that he shows her the poker chip that he found in her bag. Chantelle is visibly shocked to realise he has discovered it, but she tries her absolute best to pretend that she doesn't know a thing about it, even to say that one of her children might have got it from the arcade. But Gray is having none of her excuses - he begins shouting at her! "I KNOW!". He reveals to her that her heard her on the phone to Kheerat in the cafe, he's sussed out that he was the one who broke into the house. He asks her "What does "Cash In" mean?!" - he begins to get very angry, even asking Chantelle to tell him the truth otherwise he will hurt her. She's backed into a corner and begs him not to hurt her again, it's then she finally stands up for herself! "I'm leaving you!" she blurts out!
Gray is clearly shocked to hear what she's said, he can hardly believe it. Of course straight away he accuses her of having an affair with Kheerat, asking whether she's slept with him! Chantelle is doing her absolute best to finally tell Gray exactly how things have been in their marriage recently, she says to him that things between them haven't been right for a long time. She tells him straight, she's going to take her children and walk out the door and there is nothing Gray can do to stop her. This is the moment that really shocked me, Gray stated that he'd rather go into his children's bedroom and strangle his kids in their sleep than have her leave with them. I think that is one of the most darkest and evilest things a character has ever said in EastEnders! Chantelle is clearly shaken by his outburst, she begs him not to act upon his threat as he angrily heads towards the stairs.
It's then he mocks her, asking her how long she'd survive for without him. If she was to leave, she'd have no job and no money! Saying that she wouldn't be able to survive on just her part-time position at the salon. He starts insulting her, calling her a whore. He even states that if she even tries to divorce him, he'll be the one who'll look like the victim, he'll get all the money and all the sympathy he'll get everything! He demands her to apologise to him, he tries to portray himself as the doting husband saying he's not hard man and he'll give anyone a second chance! He instructs her to call Kheerat and tell him she's not interested, he grabs her phone from the table and see the message from him. He scoffs as he looks at the phone screen, "Oh - he's ready. He's waiting!" - Also can I just say how fantastic the visuals are in this episode, how the camera moves between the actors and how dark the background looks in the living room, with only the light from the kitchen shining around them, the whole atmosphere looks so dark and gripping.
Chantelle is reluctant to contact Kheerat, you can see she really doesn't want to what he's asking, but once again she feels trapped and thinks the only way she can keep him on side and stopping him from hurting her is to do as he asks. She calls Kheerat, the phone rings and rings and unfortunately Kheerat ends up missing the call by just mili-seconds! The call goes to voice mail and Gray instructs her to leave him a message. He stands and watches, listens to her telling Kheerat that she's changed her mind and that she loves Gray. As much as this is breaking her heart, she knows she has to do it. As she hangs up the call, he thanks her, but then there's that slight moment of doubt and he asks her "Did you mean it?" Chantelle realises needs to get Gray to believe what she's saying and doing, she tells him she loves him, he's her life! She reaches out to hold his hand and he responds, softly as her voice cracks she says to him "I need you!" - surely this will fool him and make him believe she's telling he truth?! He nods and he suggests they leave the unpacking until tomorrow and that they both head up to bed. Chantelle once again says to him to head up first and she'll be along after she's grabbed some water for them both. He tells he not to be long.
As Gray leaves the room, he hovers at the doorframe and listens to what Chantelle is getting up to. The sound of the fridge can be heard opening and the sound of the ice tray can be heard being smashed against the counter. He makes his way upstairs, in the kitchen, Chantelle is waiting for Gray to be out of sight, she panics and rushes to her luggage, franticly she searches for the other phone that Kheerat gave her. Hysterically she's calls Kheerat over and over again in desperation to get in touch with him, but each time she tries the call goes straight to voice mail. As Chantelle is doing this, right outside her front door Kheerat is seen listening to her voice message, half way through his phone goes dead. He looks down and he finds Mia's teddy bear at the stairs of the Atkins household - at the moment he looks up at the house, for a slight moment I am absolutely hoping and praying that he'll knock on the door, acting as the good Samaritan returning a child's toy, and yet somehow he'll manage to help Chantelle escape. But back in the kitchen, Chantelle is getting herself in a state as she struggles in desperation to get a hold of Kheerat, behind her we can see a shadow forming, Gray once again finds her panicking and asks what she's doing. He realises she's using another phone, he looks down at the suitcase and finds the wad of cash.
He begins to shout at her again, asking whether she was still planning on leaving him that night! Chantelle shouts back at him "Yes! Yes I am!" - you can see this is tearing her heart out, she doesn't want to be in his presence any minute longer. This is the moment we have all been waiting for, Chantelle is finally standing up for herself and telling Gray exactly what she thinks of him! The first time we've seen Chantelle shout at her husband, she tells him she has done everything she has wanted him to do, she has kept quiet like she thought a good wife should, but now what is to stop her from telling everyone the truth?! She's fallen out of love with Gray, he has beaten her black and blue over the years and she is not standing for it anymore! She's going get her children and leave! She shouts at him to get out of her way, and if he even thinks of stopping her she will scream the house down! As she is finally letting all her anger and despair out, Gray is just listening to his wife's words - "GET OUT OF MY WAY!" she yells at him! He shouts back at her that she is never going to leave and the only place she belongs is with him!
As he yells these words at his wife, she lashes out again and flings her backwards. As we see Chantelle falling backwards, the dishwasher door can be seen open. Chantelle lands flat on her back on a sharp knife that was pointed upwards in the dishwasher. Suddenly - silence, the realisation as to what has happened hits Gray instantly, his eyes are wide in deep shock. Chantelle's breaths are raspy, her eyes start to tear up as she tells him softly that she can't move. He instantly apologises and says he'll call an ambulance, but unfortunately the situation is interrupted by their child calling out for their Mummy! Gray goes to see his child, leaving Chantelle still lying on the dishwasher door. Being the doting Dad, Gray puts his children back to bed and tells them there is nothing for them to be scared of, he's here to protect them.
As he makes his way back downstairs to the kitchen, he tells Chantelle she's going to be fine. He reaches for his phone and begins to dial 999, only his sight is then drawn to the pile of money lying on the kitchen surface. I have no idea what's going on in Gray's mind right now, but he decides to not call the emergency services, as Chantelle is lying on the floor, slowly dying. He reaches for the cash and grabs the other mobile phone, he tells Chantelle not to move as he's going to find help. I actually can't believe he's just left his wife in the state she's in! As Gray leaves the house, everyone else on the Square is going about their business, totally unaware of what has happened behind closed doors. Kheerat can be seen making his way back inside his out, he and Gray miss each other by seconds! Music can be heard coming from the Queen Vic, locals can be heard chatting and laughing. Gray is slowly walking through the Square, taking everything in, bumping into Whitney and Kush as he walks around, they both have no idea what is playing on his mind.
It looks as if Gray is walking around in a daze, the events of what have just happened going over and over in his mind. He see him walk towards a bin and gets rid of the money. Is he going to be covering his tracks? Getting rid of evidence etc?! Eventually he finds his way into the Minute Mart, as if nothing is happened he goes to buy a pint of milk, although realising he's come out without any money! He says to Suki that he'll pay her double the following day. I geunielly can't believe that Gray isn't doing the right thing and calling for help. He makes his way into the Vic, downs almost half a pint and Kat eggs him on to join them in a game of darts. You can see he is eager to get home but as he's playing darts, sweat is visible on his forehead. As Chantelle is left lying on the kitchen floor, waiting for Gray to return, her phone begins to ring - you can see that it's her Dad trying to call her. Sadly she can't move to retrieve the call. Mitch is then seen leaving her a message, asking her if everything is okay and if there is anything she ever needs to talk to him about he'll always be there for her. It's absolutely devastatingly heart-breaking that the last thing he says in the voice message to his daughter is "I love you baby. You sleep tight!"
Next, Gray is staggering out the Vic, almost throwing up as he staggers up the stairs to his house. As he enters the house, there is absolute silence! Slowly he walks through the hall, he turns and slowly open to kitchen door only to reveal Chantelle's lifeless body lying there. Instantly you think he's too late, but suddenly her face twitches and she opens her eyes. Gray breaths a sigh of relief, she looks at him for one last time and closes her eyes. He head slowly slopes as she takes her final breath.
Gray checks her pulse and the realisation hits in and his breathes become heavy. Is going to make her death look like an accident? He takes one of his children's toys and places it on it's side, he then drops the bottle of milk and it smashes all over the floor, he kneels next to his dead wife shakes her leg. He starts to sob and sob, I think deep down he's putting on the devastated husband routine. He changes the phone and finally calls the emergency services, as he sobs down the phone he tells them that his wife has had an accident.
The screen then shows Chantelle's lifeless body and Gray continues to quietly sob. The picture fades to black and there is no Doof Doof, the credits begin to roll. I have to say, I think the ending was pretty fitting, it's true that this happens in people's home and there are victims who suffer in silence. Some who during lockdown have been murdered by the partners. This storyline was very harrowing to watch and with a devastating ending, but it's also a very important subject to portray. I can't applaud Jessica Plummer and Toby-Alexander Smith enough for their portrayal as Chantelle and Gray Atkins in this storyline! It's devastating to see Chantelle pass away in such tragic and horrific circumstances, but I also can't applaud the script writes enough.
I hope anyone viewing this soap who is also suffering from domestic abuse will feel safe to speak out. Don't suffer in silence, please seek help! Thank you everyone! xXx
