Ever since they left punk hazard luffy just hasn't been himself, he claims he's not hungry, his sleep schedule is off, hes quiet a lot, yet he also seems to be louder and more clumsy.

Chopper has been doing countless exams on him and can't find anything wrong with him, he's cleared luffy about 10 times only to later get so concerned he has to do even more checkups for his and the crews peace of mind

They've tried talking to him but Luffy insists he's fine, better than fine actually, he's felt fantastic lately. They're reluctant to believe him, but they know how bad a liar luffy is and have no choice but believing him, though they're still not completely sure he doesn't have a mystery illness

Eventually they'll find out what's wrong with luffy

Why he hasn't had as big an appetite as usual, why he's been staying up late, why he has moments where he just stares into the ocean, why he's been louder trying to get everyones (though he was mostly doing it for one person) attention, and why he's been falling into the ocean a lot more

Later they'll realize and it'll all click in their minds

Unable to think or act normally, especially because of being in love

Chopper is finally in the hc game here, yeah!

Marco :

• It really doesn't bother him that his s/o is a witch doctor

• He definitely finds it both appealing and interesting

• He loves to show up in their office, with a particular medical question, until they end having a calm and structured conversation on the topic

• He often tells them he likes being around them because he's frankly surprised by their skills and he wants to learn

• He thinks witchcraft and medecine can really get along since the two things end up by helping the others, somehow

• He wants to assist them, whenever he can, for his own learning process

• He makes a lots of researches just to catch up

• He silently watches them all the time, to note down whatever they do because he craves to try

• They share tricks and tips, and actually no one can follow their conversation, they are just drown in their science-magic bubble

• They really love this mature-healthy relationship when they both can share their opinions and compare their work styles

Law :

• Sarcastic and suspicious about the matter

• Science isn't something they should underestimate and he's really not into magical tricks when it's about healing someone

• He watches them, because he starts to believe this is really interesting and surprising somehow

• He never tells them, though, he's too proud to admit they are actually impressive and that he grows curious about witchcraft

• His numerous bags under his eyes are definitely a clue that he's working on the topic every night

• If his s/o playfully teases him he seems interested by the subject, he will just snap that he's around because he needs to take care of the patient when they will be done with their stupid experience

• He thinks they are impressively good, but he won't ever tell them because it would sound like he has lost the game

• His jaw might look always tensed when they are blowing people mind with their magic, because deep down he thinks it's really exciting and he'd love to make other kind of experiences with them at the moment *wink*

Chopper :

• Poor thing, he was genuinely happy to learn his s/o is a doctor, but when they precised "witch doctor" he lost it

• He's scared of them at first, and stays hidden behind furnitures whenever they perform their medecine on people

• He runs away, screaming, if they notice him they know they are looking (;-;)

• After a few times, he observes them calmly, eventually coming closer to check how they proceed

• He assists them when they ask, and somehow, he frankly believes they have an awesome profession and he loves it

• He slowly grows more comfortable around them, blushing furiously when they tell him he's doing great

• He's the most happiest thing on Earth and always follows them wherever they go, because he feels at ease with them and doesn't want to leave their side

• Everyone in the crew find it soooo cute to watch him slowly falling in love with them, they can't bear the cuteness, even Zoro
