Brennan's level of improv skill is wild. He had planned a multitude of different ways for them to have that encounter - none of which involved diving head first into Riz's briefcase. And yet it seemed so seamless. He's a perfect example of a DM quickly adapting the story for the sake of honouring party choices and player agency and it's always so fucking refreshing to see.

My partner and I have been talking the fhjy mystery and focusing on Oisin - specifically what Kipperlilly said to Aelywn about not wanting to get him involved. I do not think this came from wanting to protect him. Where has she been getting her money from to pay for Aelwyn's services? To pay for the food trucks? To pay for any of her schemes?

And who has a grandmother with mountains of riches? Oisin. Oisin who genuinely seemed interested in Adaine. Oisin who fumbled beer pong the remainder of the night after talking to Adaine out of embarrassment? Guilt?

The way Aelwyn described Kipperlilly discussing Oisin seemed very dismissive, as if she doesn't want to get this person involved because there would be questions. We've also established that she isn't rich. If she had discussed this with Oisin he might have questioned how she was able to afford it. She is an overpowered rogue - it's entirely possible for her to steal from a dragon's hoard without being caught or noticed.

I don't think the members of The Rat Grinders are completely oblivious, but I do think some members don't know the full extent of what Kipperlilly is doing or even the overall goal. I honestly don't believe they're all in on parts of the plan because she can't tell them.

I was really worried that Larian wouldn't get to step onto the stage at all after winning multiple impressive awards. If they had not won game of the year they wouldn't of been able to accept an award, give a speech, and talk about the passing of their cinematic animation lead - Jim Southworth. TGA rushed speeches (such as with Neil Newbon's speech), and speedran through award announcements meaning many teams didn't even get to see the stage at all. So many indie studios and innovative game teams did not get to accept their awards and thank the people they wanted to thank. Disappointing.
