19. How do you keep yourself motivated? & 20. How many WIPs and story ideas do you have?

19. So... I usually try to give myself deadlines. It doesn’t always work but I do get a fair amount done (for instance I was trying to be done with @dangerouspompadour bday gift tonight but some things that came up and it wont be done til tomorrow now) But it has been easier with one of my jobs on hold. It also helps my beta moved in with me and now she motivates me @sapphirestarxx

20. Whooooooooooooosh. Oh boy. The heart of the beast. I swear @dangerouspompadour and @lemonlushff are feeding into my multiple WIP fever

I just finished What You Like (thank god!!)

My current WIPs that are posted are:

Shelter, Dog Demon War (which i need to go back and re-write the first three chapters since they were written pre-beta)

And I owe... a bunch of people birthday presents. like @mamabearcat @thunderpot and @dangerouspompadour...I think that’s everyone so far. #mybad

I have three other fics started:

1.Guardian: Kagome lived a fairly normal life until she turned 16 and started sensing demonic auras. Turns out her family is one of many sets of Guardians around Japan that has guarded sacred items throughout time. Her partners, Sango and Miroku, are charged with protecting her as they unlock the mystery of what happened to the item that was passed down through the Higurashi family for centuries until the Guardian Kikyo lost it. They end up finding one of Kikyo’s old protectors, Inuyasha, who is still fairly angry and upset over the whole mystery and misunderstanding of how the item went missing. Together, they have to work together to find the item and try to banish it from the world once and for all. It’ll be a slow burn, likely smuts at the end for inuxkag

2. Secrets in your Head: I wrote a clip from this for InuxKag week for the Reunion day (here it is) So the premise is after Kagome’s dad passed, they moved into her grandfather's shrine. She's sixteen and inherited her dad's ability to see ghosts and her job is to help them move on. But no one else knows about her abilities except her bff Miroku who shares her gift and his girlfriend Sango. So Ghost Inuyasha was up in her new room just sitting on the bay window staring at the Sacred Tree when she approached him saying he didn't belong there and needed to leave. Inuyasha, obviously, didn't take that well and basically told her to fuck off-- and so, they have to build up their relationship from annoyance and loathing to friendship and possibly more *wink wink*

3. Head Full of Lies: This is @dangerouspompadour bday gift---it’s like... 40% done. I swear it’ll be finished tomorrow... hopefully... maybe...THIS WEEKEND THE LATEST It’s from the Evergreen universe **Nominated for Best OneShot for the 2020 3rd Quarterly Inuyasha Fandom Awards, run by FeudalConnection**

I have too many cancer friends and their birthdays are literally for 2 weeks straight and that’s why I’m currently so behind in life.

Other Ideas that need to be written but are on the back burner as I already have too many things:

1. Royalty: This a collaborated work with me and my beta @sapphirestarxx I’m not sure on all the details just yet, but know they are coming.

We know this: Kagome is a princess, told she has to marry because she’s of age. She sneaks out consistently to visit her normal friends Sango and Miroku who live in the town her family rules and is fairly positive she’s going to run away. She ends up meeting Inuyasha and he kinda changes her view on life...marriage...stufffffffs. That’s as much as I think we got, right @sapphirestarxx?

2. We’re not in Tokyo anymore: Alice in Wonderland theme’d InuxKag piece

3. Cinderella: Kikyo is a major pop-star and decides she wants to reform her image. In order to do so, she decides she needs to take a break but her manager won’t allow it. She decides to ask her twin sister, Kagome, to step in for her by teaching how to sing, dance, and act in her stead. Can Kagome fill Kikyo’s shoes? Will she be able to trick Kikyo’s on-stage dancer boyfriend, Inuyasha, she’s Kikyo even when Kagome loves him beyond belief already and have to pretend she’s someone she’s not? Can she fool everyone else? Totally will be a music fic.

4. And then there are oneshots and side stories I need to get written... my inbox is crawling with stuff

So yea... I’m crazy.
