Yesterday was national bubble tea day and I forgot to post?! And didn鈥檛 make any bubble tea? Well as usually I show up late but better late than never . I am so proud of these cosplays! We worked really hard on these builds and we wanted to add more crochet this time and we really did! I don鈥檛 think I got to show off just how much was crochet but I feel so good about how they came out. . From the yarn wigs to all the bags I crocheted covers for to the robotic arm and snowball we really went all out with yarn. . I didn鈥檛 end up taking enough pictures of myself or Mariko at Katsucon because that place always makes me just wanna stare at everyone else鈥檚 amazing costumes and it鈥檚 always so busy I never remember but I got a bunch of silly ones when I did one last costest a few days before the con! . I really love doing makeup for Junkrat, rubbing fake dirt on yourself and squinting until you鈥檙e satisfied with the amount of paint grime on yourself is really fun to play around with. It鈥檚 super late so have some wip pictures of some stuff I鈥檝e been working on for the RIP-tire for Junkrat. I鈥檝e had to go back and add some support to the bag because it was getting too heavy with all the crochet on it but now it stands up on its own again and has some backbone to it. It鈥檚 #wipwednesday and what鈥檚 better than a wip or a RIP-tire? A video of the rip-tire being a functional bag 馃槂 I feel like I was duper ambitious in trying to crochet this monster but I鈥檓 really loving this so far.
