This is slightly off topic but not - so tennis are doing their own version of drive to survive and one of the tennis WAGs Morgan Riddle is so likeable. Really wish more of the f1 wags were like her, she actually posts interesting content of cities she travels with her bf, outfits, insights into behind the scenes of matches etc. I just think the f1 wags if they really want to be proper influencers should actually post engaging content, I’m not justifying hate but they wonder why they get backlash when their content is poor (or offensive like Kelly lol)

She ignored them and at some point they stopped.

She’s a model but has gone for the influencer stuff lately, and I think she’s doing a great job. She posts a bit of everything while maintaining the same vibe. Fashion, unboxing, outfits, traveling, everything. She’s also a mom, so she posts a lot of things about maternity and different products.

Fun fact, I once asked her something and she was so sweet, actually taking the time to give a proper answer 🥹

Same thing with Coral, never heard a bad thing about her besides that she’s really sweet, I love unproblematic women. Marc and her have been together for years and I just love them so much.

Dani posts a lot of lifestyle content but she’s also an architect. The house they are living in was actually designed by her and I remember she shared the whole journey with us. It was a really nice and realistic thing, I loved it.

CH 8: sea legs

Neymar wakes to his second alarm. He showers, shaves, lotions up in a cloud of steam. Snags his favorite hoodie and his phone, slumps at the kitchen table in the watery morning sunlight. The cook makes him soft boiled eggs and puts them in the same blue porcelain bowl every morning. He has his protein shake in a clouded mixer cup that he always forgets in the console of the car. He eats one and a half eggs, brushes his teeth in the downstairs bathroom, one headphone in and axe blasting, jiggling his leg, half-singing around his toothbrush. Spit and rinse and there's the cup in one hand, kiss on the cheek for Olga in her apron, the welcome of cool morning air, he's on his way.

The drive is quick, a bare three minutes on the highway and the rest on the flat, narrow roads around the piled-up corners of the city and their open-faced, blocky buildings in amber and taupe. The trees are skinny with fat, leafy heads; he stops carefully and turns his music down to make a left under a copse of them by a rack of boats. 

Pulling into the training center is a matter of gates and loose salutes to the guards, then a familiar double-pat of his pockets to make sure he got his keys before he jogs to the entrance, sunnies down. No photographer today for the socials, so he heads through the entrance and down the hall, past one of the many people whose jobs he can’t figure out, athletic-casual clothing and clipboards- Hey Matilde, he says, Hey Pauline, Hey Marko–and then it’s past the chirp ring ring of the offices, the long double doors that lead to racks and racks of boots and cones, the miscellaneous side halls populated with distant figures holding papers, cups,  music still going strong in his ears and feet impatient on the low-impact flooring, down through another set of doors and into the burst of morning noise that is the changing room. A cry from Dani, a clap on the back, Mathieu somber next to Ter Stegen but that’s just his face, Xavi walking with purpose towards Andres and Ivan, Rafinha with a kiss on the cheek and an overlapping buzz of competing rap from their headphones, Geri shouting over his bank of lockers to Marc and the intimate, furrowed-brow clutch of Munir and Sergi, bent over their phones, past them over the cracked tile there’s Luis, kitted out and staring into nothing, mate in hand, Jordi with his lips pursed tying one shoe, and then in the center of the far bench, gesturing for his turn to drink, sweatshirt half off and one tie pinched in his mouth, easy and open and alive and immediate, is Leo.

We wtorek Real Soceda pokonał Celtę Vigo 2:1 w 1/8 finału Copa del Rey i awansował do ćwierćfinału. W drugiej minucie meczu Merino pomógł Oyarzabalowi zdobyć gola i objął prowadzenie 1:0. W 66. minucie Bryce Mendes asystował, a ubrany w koszulka Real Sociedad Baker zdobył gola i powiększył przewagę 2:0. W 90+2 minutach de la Torre strzelił gola dla Celty Vigo, nie był jednak w stanie zmienić wyniku porażki i ostatecznie został wyeliminowany.

Pomimo wygrania 6 z ostatnich 7 oficjalnych meczów, wciąż krążą plotki, że Xavi wierzy w niektórych zawodników noszących stroje piłkarskie. Dla Xaviego obrona tytułu ligowego w zasadzie zakończyła się fiaskiem, a Ligę Mistrzów trudno wygrać, być może Copa del Rey jest jego największą nadzieją na tytuł. Jeśli chodzi o skład, Garvey, Rafinha, Marcos Alonso, Ter Stegen i Inigo Martinez są nadal nieobecni z powodu kontuzji. “Historia del FC Barcelona”

En 1899, Joan Gamper, un hombre suizo, decidió introducir el fútbol en Barcelona mediante la creación de un equipo. El club fue fundado oficialmente el veintinueve de noviembre de 1899.

Creció y cobró fuerza, ganando títulos como la Copa Macaya en 1902, la Copa de los Pirineos en 1910 - 1912.

El FC Barcelona construyó su primer estadio en 1909 con una capacidad de 6.000 personas.

Durante la década de 1920 la fama y el éxito del equipo creció. Ganaron la primera Liga del Campeonato en la temporada 1928 - 1929. Con la nueva popularidad del club fue necesario construir un nuevo estadio. En 1922 se construyó el estadio 'Les Corts', con una capacidad de 22.000 personas.

Es importante recordar que el FC Barcelona ha sobrevivido a una Guerra Civil. En 1936, las tropas de Franco fusilaron al presidente del club, Josep Sunyol, debido a su pertenencia a un partido de izquierda.
