Ngl the Leon S. Kennedy hate reminds me of how after Separate Ways came out I've heard about how so many people started hating on Leon (like they understood Ada more but also started shitting on him which is ironic considering that usually Ada is potraid as the bad and manipulative one) the people went into his VA's livestream and poor dude had to defend him like 馃槶
Oh, I forgot about that livestream lmao 馃槄馃槄
But what I will say, is that for every hate Leon鈥檚 been getting, the hatred that Ada, Claire and Ashley get is exponentially larger.
Especially Ada, given his it鈥檚 a whole lot of racism on top of the misogyny.
So I figured I鈥檇 at least try to even the playing field by dunking on the white man 馃槅馃槅

Would Judy and Danny be alright for the character ask game?
Shit, I forgot about that ask game, my bad 馃槄 Because I got a second ask about Danny, Imma answer about Judy
favorite thing about them: She's one of the few scientists that weren't 100% by the book. While she remained cautious, she was willing to help Daniel out, judging from the clues in the safe house
least favorite thing about them: She died too damn quickly.
favorite line: "Are you crazy? Leo's an animal, and Daniel barely remembers who I am!"
brOTP: She and Whyte, for sure. And Daniel too.
OTP: I still remember your Rob x Judy ship art, and I find it cute as hell! 馃槃
nOTP: Aside from the obvious, any ship between her and a man is a no-no for me lmao
random headcanon: She used to despise her chemistry teacher and math teacher, despite those subjects being her favorites.
unpopular opinion: She could have helped take down Leo if Rockstar weren't such fucking cowards. I really find her to be some of the most interesting characters in the entire Manhunt series because of the sheer amount of potential.. I find her more intriguing than most of the men combined lmfao

Can you give me some info on Commander Keen being DoomGuy's/Flynn's and Stan's dad? For no particular reason, hehe....
Oh boy.
Trigger warning for awful father鈩笍.
He lived all of his life through stress in a terrible environment (in Curse of The Leviathan the whole "if you get rid of the nazis, you will start the Apocalypse" thing from Wolfenstein is taken very seriously. As silly the canon Commander Keen games are, this is a more serious approach to the retro ID universe, so shit did happen). His wife died before their kids became teens. He was blinded by rage, however...I don't pretend like he was in the right. He was an alcoholic. He was a complete bastard. Stan and Flynn, especially Flynn, had to deal with his shit until adulthood. He was mad at BJ for dooming Earth. He saw him in his kids, which only made him angrier.
Most of the scars never went away, literally and psychologically.
Flynn can't bring himself to hate him despite everything, Stan would kill him if he had the chance.
Flynn simply wanted to be a good man and a good dad, unlike his own father.

So, where do you imagine Crash was during Doom 1, 2 and 64 events? (Canon + your ver if possible)
Canonically speaking, I assume she was MIA since a while. You can't escape from Quake's arenas. I assume she could have been in active combat during Doom 1993, since we do know there were other space marines fighting against demons in other locations at the time of the Phobos invasion, but after that she just became one of Quake's little toys.
Arlene...she was in active through the entire war until Hell on Earth, she was too injured for combat during Doom 64, same for Flynn. She got stationed to Mars City in order to quickly prepare new recruits to drop back in Hell, got incredibly pissed when Stan signed to go as well (and she was not wrong).
CotL space marines actually move in platoons and use vehicles when possible. They are not always small squads. I give the spotlight to Arlene, Flynn and Stan, but they are not the only ones doing something.

As much as I (and seemingly most people) do wish that Leo didn't betray Danny because he wanted full control, that would also bring in the fact that after Pickman's death Whyte took over the Project in an attempt to fix things. And with Leo's passionate hatred for the Project it would very likely lead to Whyte's death because you know damn well that Leo wouldn't care about what the Project is now 馃様 (and I highly doubt he'd leave Danny alone about not going after the Project now that Prickman is dead).
(Sorry it took so long to answer, haven't touched this blog for a good while now)
Yeah, Leo is not one to leave loose ends alone. Despite me not wanting to acknowledge Release Therapy, it did indicate that Leo knew very well about Daniel's affiliation with the Project.
If you got any connections with the Project, Leo Kasper is out for your blood. Doesn't matter if you're an unsuspecting business partner, errand boy, a mere family member of an emply. It matters not. In Leo's eyes, they're equally guilty.

For the Character ask game: 2, 3, 8 and 25 (if that's not too much) for Daniel Lamb (and if possible Laura Whyte too)
(Sorry for late reply, i forgot I had this in the draft lmao)
Imma do both, because I love them both :D It's not too much dw
Link to ask game
2. Favorite canon thing about this character?
Whyte: She's one of the scientists that seems to have her head on her shoulders. Plus, she did help Daniel out, which is a plus.
Daniel: The fact that he's not a carbon copy of Cash. It's just so refreshing.
-----------------------------------------
3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?
They were both Project scientists. While that does evoke some lore exploration, The Project and its atrocities are part of the reason why the game seemed to age poorly compared to other Rockstar games, so, yeah.
------------------------------------------
8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?
Whyte: They act like she doesn't even exist, which is kinda irritating, yet not surprising. Unfortunately, the same can be said for any other woman in the two games combined. The fact that I can count the women who had any form of significance in the Manhunt series' story with about one hand is disappointing.
Daniel: I find it mad annoying when discussion surrounding whether his or Leo's ending should have been canon. I've already elaborated on why both endings sucked, but the amount of people shitting on Daniel just to elevate Leo are a big reason why I'm just not attached to Leo at all. Do I dislike him? No, but I'll always prefer Daniel anyday.
--------------------------------------------
25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?
Whyte:
First impression - Cool character, breath of fresh air
Current impression - Unironically one of my favorite characters in the entire Manhunt series. I just find her so interesting, and I love exploring her through my theories and headcanons!
Daniel:
First impression - He's just like me for real, I prefer him over the likes of Cash and Leo.
Current impression - Not much as changed. Despite me being more critical of everybody, my love for him and Whyte remains much the same.

Been thinking about how Pickman allowed Danny to volunteer in the first place (when he could've said "no Danny you're too smart and more useful as a scientist"), I know the shit was dire at the time and while it shows how evil the project is if they're willing to throw away one of their own to succeed, I cannot help but laugh at the idea that the actual reason Pickman proceeded to put the bridge in Danny's head is because he was secretly jealous that Danny was smarter than him and he wasn't using his knowledge to his full potential. (This is an "we hate Pickman" ask lol)
Omg, you're right!
This makes sense, because even at their desperate times, Pickman would know that it would be unwise to use one of your own scientist, let alone top scientists, given high likelihood of failure. It would be foolish to just discard one of their greatest assets, especially when their financial position is at stake.
I imagine that Daniel was just asking too many questions for his own good, leading to Pickman believing that he'd either be a real competition, become a loose end or both. I'm telling you, he knew damn well what he was doing when he immediately switched Daniel up away from the control group.
Adding to you input of Pickman resenting Daniel, Pickman could have figured out about Daniel's debt. So he must have used it as a perfect opportunity to use said debt against Daniel and get rid of competition and loose ends!
All in all, fuck Pickman! All my homies hate Pickman!
I will admit, Pickman is basically the only non-hunter character in the entire Manhunt series that I genuinely despise. He's just the absolute worst! There is just nothing remotely enjoyable about him as an individual character.

I remember before your reply to that anon ask about Leo and Danny's birth dates being switched (not sure how long that ask was in your inbox but ya know) I counted to what year Danny would graduate 9 years later. If the birthdates were mixed up then he would've graduated in 1994, would've worked at GABP, Inc. from 1995 to 1998 and then gotten to working for the Project in 1998 (as for his daughter well, I just always assumed that she was adopted).
(For context, I'm calling Mrs Lamb by the name of Jennifer because of a list of headcanons I've got for the family. (It can be found here). That way, I'm not just referring her to be an extension of Daniel lmao)
Yeah, that seems to add up. I'd like to think that Jennifer and Daniel were both prodigies, and Jennifer was still trying to look for a job within her field that was in Cottonmouth. And because of them being prodigies and all, it was relatively easy for Daniel to find that job within The Project.
For Jennifer, on the other hand, not so much. I assume that Cottonmouth is a more conservative town compared to the likes of Los Santos and San Fierro, so the job market must not have been easy for her at all.
As for their daughter Sarah, I always assumed that Daniel and Jennifer were college sweethearts, if not high school sweethearts and had her shortly after they finished university or something. But your theory could work too.
Adding to this, it would give Leo some extra time. Because if the canonical birthdates were to add up, the process from test subject would have gone at least two ways:
1) If The Project took their time with Leo, he might have been targeted at an early age. He was probably taken in by The Project at his mid-to-late teens because he got diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder when he was young.
2) The aforementioned process only lasted a few years (five years at most), and was therefore highly intensive. The Project needed results as quick as possible. This also meant that Leo was a Project assassin only a few years prior to his death. My guess then would be that he was taken in by The Project at 21 and became an assassin maximum 5 years later. Could be sooner than that, though.

Although it makes sense for dudebros to be hyper Leo stans who refuse to use their brains, it's kinda ironic for me because I used to be in this one server and pretty much everyone there actually hated him (it was kinda wild, and they were saying crap like "he's a carbon Cash copy) (also I got banned cuz homophobia, or just general queerphobia, so yeah....). Tho outside of that I have sadly seen the hyper stan dudebros, specifically on Reddit and the comment section of the bad ending vid (also if you haven't seen.... The /manhunt Reddit is not doing well).
Good riddance to that server then. It seemed a bit to good to be true, really.
Which is sad, because the "Carbon Cash copy" did make me chuckle 馃槅馃槅
And yup, outside of Tumblr, the Manhunt 2 fandom at large pretty much stan Leo, as far as I've seen. Even to the point of him being more popular than Danny 馃槶馃槶
And you bet your ass they don't talk about any of the women (the journalist, Dr Whyte, Judy and such). Not that it's surprising, but come on now 馃槙
And as for Reddit, I avoid that site like the fucking plague! So I can't even imagine how the Manhunt subreddit must be like. Still, thanks for that heads up, though!

One thing I love about Danny (out of many lol) is that after finding out that Leo wasn't real he still didn't want to get rid of him because he considered him a friend (before you-know-what), like he was really ready to live with Leo in his head/co-exist with him in the same body. Makes it kinda sadder that Leo didn't care about him 馃槥
Yeah, definitely! It's also a reason why it would be better if Leo wasn't made out to be purely evil, because I find that it would make a lot more sense for both of their characters.
After having it all recapped by Dr Whyte, I think the reason why Daniel wanted to co-exist with Leo is that Daniel knows he's not innocent himself.
After all, Daniel did co-create the Pickman Bridge alongside Pickman. Only for him to end up like every other failed Project subject; chucked to Dixmor like a piece of of used disposable lab equipment.
Daniel was legit facing the very consequences of his actions (if not more as well), and through all that suffering, he genuinely thought he had a friend in Leo. Which is why Daniel preferred to keep co-exisiting with Leo, as the latter helped him escape.
What a waste, indeed... 馃様

Something that has been on my mind is the question of how did Danny leave all the clues/hints without Leo noticing in any way (yeah he was telling Danny that "it wasn't important" and to "let it go" but nothing that seemed to imply that he knew about the hints). I highly doubt that it happened after the murder of his wife considering that he was quickly taken away to the asylum.
(OMG I AM SO SORRY!!! I FORGOT I HAD THIS IN THE DRAFTS)
Yeah, it was really interesting that Daniel left himself notes around parts of Cottonmouth in 2001.
My take(s) on this, would be that Daniel left one of the notes before parttaking in the experiment, in case something were to go wrong. The one he left in his old house could be said note.
Also, as Daniel was techincally doing Leo's biddings, such as shooting that Project official and burning down that warehouse, I'd guess that Leo felt confident in himself to believe he got Daniel wrapped around his finger.
Therefore, Leo wouldn't suspect the notes and, especially the safehouse notes, consider them to be "empty" and "dead ends" anyway. Plus, Leo basically had an excuse for almost anything, as he justified him killing Michael (Daniel's best friend) by claiming that the latter "double-crossed" them, with no further elaboration.
TLDR; Leo didn't think much of the notes, as he believed Daniel to be wrapped around his finger. Plus, had it not been for Dr Whyte's intervention, Daniel would probably have found out much later...

favorite thing about them: The fact that she gathered dirt on Starkweather and lived.
least favorite thing about them: Her not getting a happy ending 馃槶
favorite line: "This is gonna make my career."
brOTP: With Cash, of course.
OTP: I've seen @dark-drawssss's ship art of her and Judy Sender, I think it's neat.
nOTP: I strongly headcanon her as lesbian, so any ship of her with a man gives me the ick.
random headcanon: She used to go to Bullworth Academy as a teen.
unpopular opinion: She's one of the most underrated Rockstar badasses ever!!
