The Chambre Syndicale de la Mode Masculine has just published the provisional schedule for the next Paris Fashion Week dedicated to men's ready-to-wear collections for spring-summer 2023. The event will be held in Paris from 21 to 26 of June. Among the 84 houses registered in the official calendar, many are those that have returned to the physical show format (39 in total) such as Paul Smith, Études, Y/Project, Issey Miyake or Thom Browne, which some had had to leave aside in favor of so-called "phygital" presentations due to the pandemic. If the majority of presentations will be in physical format (37 in total), only 8 houses will present their collections through the digital tool, such as Yohji Yamamoto or Agnès b. New entries Six new brands debut on the official calendar this season. Three in the form of physical shows with British designer Kiko Kostadinov, Swedish duo Lazoschmidl and France's Marine Serre, whose presentation of women's collections is already a hit at every new Paris fashion week. On the presentation side, the calendar welcomes the Chinese designer Feng Chen Wang, who has so far presented her collections in London, where she has established her studio, the Fursac house, and the young French designer Jeanne Friot, who has been developing 2022 gender-free collections and a sustainable production model. Modern French menswear label Sobre Fursac has named Gauthier Borsarello as its new brand name creative director, effective instantly.

The appointment the French brand name states “marks the start of a brand new chapter” for the French customize with Borsarello selected to get his expertise in classic clothing, as the label wants increase its international achieve.

In a statement, De Fursac said that Borsarello will present their first collection for the brand for spring/summer 2022.

Activities on his new role, Borsarello, said: “I am pleased to be joining De Fursac and grateful for the rely on of Elina Kousourna. Sobre Fursac is a brand which i admire a lot. It has been outfitting men since 1973 using the belief that quality clothing can also be accessible. I’m motivated by the era and neighborhood that the brand is grounded in.

“It’s important for me personally to properly explore that time period and its home on Repent Richelieu, Paris. Panache, vibrant energy and the past glories of Parisian nightlife are areas that I will be sketching inspiration from to start about this new chapter for the brand name. It’s where my connection with De Fursac is definitely grounded. ”

Borsarello supercedes Alix Le Naour, who seem to held the position for a 10 years. The label confirmed which he was stepping down to “take on new challenges”.

Elina Kousourna, managing director associated with De Fursac, added: “We see the appointment of Gauthier as the opening of a brand new chapter. Our ambition is perfect for De Fursac to become a really international brand that offers a distinctive French style and identification that pays tribute as to what has made it so effective in France for almost 4 decades.

“I am confident that will Gauthier’s creative vision, outstanding knowledge of menswear and store will help us achieve this. ”

Founded in Paris within 1973, De Fursac provides tailored suits, casualwear plus eveningwear for men. The brand name has 60 shops, mainly in France, and is presently developing its international existence with latest openings in the UK in Chelsea, London and Luxembourg.
