[Jason shuts the door and he can hear the subtle clicks of the security system snapping back into place. His little wing stands beside him and he can feel the question on his tongue.

Jason doesn’t beat around the bush, he never does. “Why did you want to see me?”

Dick is so tired of the act they put up. He turns and looks him in the eyes. “I missed you.”

Jason looks thrown off for a second - then gingerly, like he is measuring every word, “I-Yeah. Me too.”]
