Paolo almost rolled his eyes. Almost. He didn’t like the plan that Clarisse had elaborated for that Capture the Flag but it wasn’t like he had much choice on the matter. On the other team, he could bet his lucky bandana that the offsprings of Athena would be the ones leading and making the plans.

“Não era para a direita que a gente esperava achar os arqueiros?! (Didn’t we suspect that the archers were positioned on the right?!)” He asked, indiginate. He had already lost a couple limbs (thankfully reattached thanks to the skills of the sons of Apollo along with his own fast healing) but if he ran thowards where they thought the archers were,... wouldn’t that make him some sort of meat shield like target?

Nico nodded once. He didn’t mind letting Clarisse take the lead, particularly when the lead was heading into an abandoned Monster Donut. It was weird, not that Monster Donut by itself wasn’t weird, but usually Monster Donuts weren’t abandoned. One of the Athena kids had a theory that all fast foods chains were fueled by monsters, where as soon one took hold, more would begin to sprout up like the heads of a Hydra. So it was strange to see one sprout up and then die.

Not to mention one so close to Camp.

He turned his back to Clarisse, to watch the wooded area around them. Everything was quiet, and he kept himself from thinking too quiet. Best case scenario, this was a fluke and they could leave as soon as they came. Maybe even monster funded fast food chains could go bankrupt.

Not exactly a follower milestone, but, I think this is close enough.

@highnoonbright - One of the first people I RPed with on here, and, oh my God, Sam and Teak's dynamic is one of my favourite things I've RPed with Sam. Teak is such a deep and interesting and complex character, and I adore them. Plus, the mun is super fun to talk too.

@woolyflowercrowns - Someone who I started RPing with on my previous RP blog, and honestly Terrance is one of my favourite OCs and characters I've ever RPed with. And the mun is fricking adorable and someone who deserves the world.

@planitosantheion - We haven't RPed recently, but Brain is a super cool OC who is certainly the stoic straight man to much of Sam's antics. Plus, I have an instant love for Demeter OCs. I've not really talked to the mun, which is something I really must rectify.

@stygicniron - This is someone who embodies their muse and is a brilliant example of how to RP Nico right. They're able to play almost every aspect of Nico extremely well, and, when we do talk out of character, the mun is a pretty great person.

@arithmancii - Adrien is another example of a really well developed OC, and one this is one blog I find myself scrolling through randomly when bored. We've not RPed much, nor have I really talked to the mun, but I hope that can be changed.

@drakonslxyer - Again, another mun who knows how to play their muse. I've always liked Clarisse, but this portrayal has made me fall in love with her. The mun is always super fun to talk to, and her portrayal of Clarisse has inspired a few drawings.

@vindictiveolympianqueen - In addition to having one of the best URLs, this portrayal of Hera is so... accurate. It adds to the mythological Hera and humanises her. Again, not very familiar with the mun, but damn, they're pretty cool.

@speaksmachine - Okay, not RPed with them much, but it was me stalking this blog that inspired me to make a PJO RP blog. Someone else I got to know on my previous RP blog, this is a brilliant, pitch-perfect Leo Valdez.

@diviniius - I'm not gonna tag all their blogs, but, boy. Pan is someone who puts so, so much love into all the characters they RP. We haven't talked recent, but they made me love Octavian, and got me into a few other fandoms.

@amourdaughter - If I'm sent a meme, it's probably this Valentina. Despite the very little canon information we have on this other Aphrodite kid, this blog is amazing at using what we have and turning it into an amazing portrayal of the archetypal child of the love goddess.

@fromqveens - This Spidey, guys. This Spidey is one of the best portrayals of the web-slinger I've seen. They encompass Peter's school and superhero personas so well, and the mun is always a pretty fun chat.

@yxkanna - We've not RPed or talked much, but this character is an absolute arsehold but they own it. This OC and the amount of verses they have and the backstory is just... amazing.

@stolenbythegods - Another just?? Amazing portrayal of a character, and the amount of depth and love they put into their Ganymede is a wonder to behold. They're also always there to talk OOC, and it's always a blast.

And, as an extra, not part of the FF, buuuut

@titanslayer - You all know her, like, the crux of the whole Rioradan RP community. We've not RPed in about a year, but, Nat's portrayal of Jason is perfect, and she gives the character and AUs so much love and attention. She also did something for me that helped my anxiety that I still look to today for help.

So, thank you all for making my RPing on this account so fun, and here's to 1500 more posts and many more threads!

14. How many ships is too many? 

in terms of like, having ships that you enjoy and like to see content of, i don’t think there’s a limit. like i know 14 yo me had.... gazillions of ships bc i would gobble up any hint of girls liking girls i could, so pretty much every media i read/watched, i had like at least three wlw ships and hey that’s ok!!!!! it made me feel better about myself and it was something i really enjoyed so if having a million ships helps someone else the way it helped me, i can hardly argue that it’s a bad thing. 

in terms of rp.... i’m not here to tell people how to run their blogs. but i do think that when someone’s entire focus is on shipping, it isn’t really the best thing. this is just my opinion!!! not @ ing anyone or anything. i just think that it can unintentionally turn people away because they get the impression that you’re not looking for more platonic interactions. but hey what do i know!!!!!!!! i’m dumb as rocks so no one should bother listening to me.

   ❛     i didn’t have any siblings growing up -- and honestly, i never thought about it.  what my mom, grandmother, and i had was good, and i didn’t ever feel myself wanting a sibling.  but now that i know i have them?  it’s awesome!  and clarisse is incredible, honestly.  she’s all of the good parts of our dad -- the drive to do things, the stubbornness in the face of injustice, the pure skill of using a sword.  she’s tough, and has a hard outer layer, but she’s SUCH a great person and an awesome big sister.     ❜

14. What is your ideal AU for your muse?

*rubs hands together*

Man oh man do I have AUs. I have so many AUs that I just absolutely adore and would love to play out. It’s so hard to pick one. 

In terms of existing within the same canon world, I would have to pick either my hero!AU or my villain!AU. As we see in that episode in the first season where Rikki gets tricked by Barry into illegally selling fish, Rikki has a strong sense of justice. This is very muddled with vengeance but technicality. 

I still firmly think it would be the coolest thing if there was a hero!AU starting from that episode where Rikki, Cleo, and Emma become crime fighting heroes of Australia??? By day, they’re ordinary girls. But by night, they use their superpowers to fight evil! My Sailor Moon is showing. I mean, in the series finale, they literally save the world. These mermaids would totally kick some ass.

And then we have the opposite end of the spectrum--villain!AU. In season 3, Rikki forms a bond with the Water Tentacle and briefly crosses into “the dark side.” AU where Rikki stays in the dark side. Where Rikki hurts everyone who wronged her (Sophie, Ryan, Zane). She’s just a mess of anger and pain hungry for some sweet revenge. Of course, after she’s dealt with her immediate sources of pain, she just takes it out on the rest of the world. She’s someone who’s tired of hiding herself. She’s tired of having to keep a secret and being afraid. She’s tired of the world taking advantage of mermaids. Blah blah blah. Villain!AU where Rikki hates humans and uses her powers to make them suffer. Villain!AU where Rikki has the Water Tentacle at her command. She thinks she’s doing nature a favor. That sorta thing. 

Because you see, my interpretation of Rikki is that she is someone caught in the middle between good and evil. She’s ultimately good but there’s so much gray area. With these two AUs, it would not only let me have some fun but let me explore some black and white aspects of Rikki. And these two AUs, I feel like they are very...plausible. Which is why I picked these two as my ideal AUs for Rikki.

probably clarisse? i feel like she’s largely the more responsible of the two. regardless of how the money gets divided between the two, she does the physical act of paying them.

.........i’m not sure, actually? like. i wanna say iggy, because he’s blind, but he’s so well adapted that i’m not sure.

neither. they both think it’s crap.

iggy. he can’t sing particularly well, but he does it anyway.

neither, i think?

who is more up to date in pop culture?

iggy. clarisse doesn’t really care enough.

i don’t think either! iggy for obvs reasons, and clarisse bc she prefers netflix bingewatching.

neither, really. i mean, they’re not completely heartless, but they don’t really cry.

who’s the lighter sleeper?

iggy.

who believes in ghosts?

they both do! they’ve got experience with the underworld.

who does the grocery shopping?

iggy, but he brings clarisse along to make sure he doesn’t get the wrong things (and to make sure she’s interested in the food he’s getting).

who updates their facebook status more often?

iggy would. i don’t even know if clarisse would have any social media. i feel like she’d have it just to, y’know, have it, but she prefers texting/calling/talking in person than just shouting into the void.

@drakonslxyer Honestly, June was Sam’s favourite month, the heat, the fact camp was filled to the brim, and, of course, Pride. Aphrodite Cabin had collaborated with the Iris and Athena cabins, the fruits of labour Sam held in his hand. A mini pride flag and enamel pin of a mix between the demisexual and bi flag.

He strolled up to the Ares cabin’s table, smiled at Clarisse, placing the stuff down beside her breakfast. “Happy Pride, Clarrisse.”
