MistClan:  MistClan territory consists of a swamp and a pine forest.  Since there is a lot of mud in the territory as a result, the cats are used to it. They have big paws and thick fur to be able to live in the mud. They also often cover their pelts with it, either to cover up an unnatural fur color or to hide their scent.  Additionally they're also very good at stealth, making them masters of sudden attacks. If a MistClan cat doesn't want you to know they're there, you won't.
DropClan:  DropClan territory is next to a river, including the river, and their camp is on an island in it. As a result they're very used to water and don't have the aversion to it that's typical of cats. Kits are taught to swim before they leave the nursery, and cats who later join the Clan have to learn swimming first.  DropClan cats also enjoy swimming in their free time, especially to cool down in leaf-green.  They can also use special fighting techniques in the water.
LeafClan: LeafClan cats practically live in trees. Several of their nests are in tree canopies and they often hunt birds or squirrels in the trees.  They also move around their territory by jumping from tree to tree and they climb for fun. And not only on trees, but also on the many rocks and cliffs in their territory.  Since they're in the trees so often attackers have a hard time, but they have a great advantage. If they drop onto another cat or even bigger animals from above, they've basically won already.
StormClan:  StormClan is the only Clan that can use the tunnels and caves under the Clan territories, because there are no entrances to them in other territories.  They use them for protection because their territory consists only of meadows and a moor and offers no protection. Their camp, for example, is in a underground cave.  They patrol the existing tunnels as well as the rest of their territory and also dig new ones to use.  Because of the tunnels, StormClan cats have new opportunities to advance after their warrior training. Tunnelers and Guardians. Guardians need three additional moons of training, learning to navigate the tunnels, as well as to hunt and fight in them.  Tunnelers need a moon and a half of more training, and they're responsible for digging new tunnels and making sure the old ones are safe.
NightClan:  NightClan was founded far away from the other Clans by an exiled LeafClan warrior.  They used to live in a small forest right behind a twoleg-place, but have been roaming around since their territory has been destroyed by the twolegs.  They met a group of loners who told them where the other Clans lived. They decided to try to find them and soon they did. They were given a territory beyond LeafClan territory, with many ruins. Because NightClan was away from the other Clans for so long, they don't know of some of their traditions, such as the -moon suffix for medicine cats. They also know some twoleg words because they lived so close to them, such as winter or car or street. They are nocturnal, as there are less twoleg activities at that time.

FELIDAE ISLANDIA
Felidae Islandia is a warrior cat fan rp based around three clans in Iceland. The clan territories are real places in Iceland, as are the gathering spot and crystal pool. However, I have moved them about in order to fit the roleplay. Please understand that this is not an accurate representation of Iceland's geography.
This is a semi-literate roleplay based on discord. We have a strict maturity rating of 14+.
—— current plot
One of the clans, Dropclan, has recently gone off the radar. Their borders have been left unmarked and their prey is running wild. With the first snows of winter coming in, this is quite upsetting for the other clans. Concern is rising in Rushclan, while Bayclan is more suspicious than anything. A gathering is fast approaching, what will your cat bring to the table in regards to this situation?
—— interested?
We are currently open for applications for standard characters, as well as three high positions. Please review the clans and rules on our tumblr page (not currently compatible with mobile), and then submit a form with your information as well as a character! The form is located here:

RUSHCLAN INFORMATION
Fjaðrárgljúfur // Iceland
Tumblr media
Camp // At the end of the ravine, a decently sized waterfall pours from above, leaving the rocks bare and salt sprayed. The water leads to a calm pool and river. Behind this waterfall is a small cave, which has been carved away by the water over several thousand years. The water has worn dens into the cave’s sides, leaving the stone incredibly smooth. The leader calls to the camp from a large volcanic column, which has a winding pathway up to the top carved into it. Territory // Rushclan’s territory is located in a ravine, which has been carved away by the rushing water for many thousands of years. Though primarily rock, the ground is also covered in rich soil, and plentiful in grasses and mosses. In many places, the walls are tall and steep, unsafe for even an adult warrior. Rushclan has specialised themselves in climbing the more manageable areas, however, and are experts in their ability. Cutting through the majority of the territory is a fairly swift river, the waters bubbling in the ears of cats from kithood to their graves. While some areas are safe to wade through, a slip in the wrong spot would mean certain death. Borders // At the other end of the ravine, which is an uphill climb, the river breaks into smaller streams, lacing themselves through dropclan’s territory. The outermost river, which curves around the outside of the ravine, is the border to dropclan. This still allows for the cats to walk above the ravine and survey their territory from above. Bayclan, however, is bordered by a thunderpath, which scorches any paws to touch it during high noon on a summer’s day. It is advised to cross, if you must cross, during night in the summer, and during the day in the winter. Prey and Predators // Rushclan is densely populated primarily with birds, and birds bring the infamous arctic fox. Common sightings include Atlantic Puffins (as the territory is very close to the sea, and the rocks are prime nesting location), Common Raven, Common Snipe, Arctic Tern, Rock Ptarmigan, and the elusive Golden Plover, which only shows its face when spring is nearing. The birds, as well as their eggs, are wonderful prey for the cats. However, the predators are just as plentiful. The arctic fox, as I mentioned before, is small and solidary, but will still pack a decent punch to a lone warrior. Snowy Owls, Gyrfalcons, and the intimidating white-tailed eagle. Rabbit, Vole, Mice, and Mink will occasionally be found near the clan borders. Pelt Colours // Cool greys and browns, with moderate white masking/spotting, is often the most common pelt colour in Rushclan. The cats have adapted to blending with both the cool stone and the winter snow. White cats, in any clan, are not uncommon. Rushclan favours short and medium coats (though double coat is still important due to the weather), and have adapted to have large paw pads to aid in climbing and traversing snowbeds. Names // Avian names are common, as well as anything playing off of water or the sea. Examples include, but are not limited to, puffin, wave, splash, duck, swan, and snipe. Morals // Rushclan is a proud clan. They are very loyal, and hold knowledge and adventure to a very high standard. They believe strongly in the balance of the three clans, as well as the warrior code. The newer generation is beginning to show a trend of trailblazers, however, who want to outlaw old fashioned thinking. Starclan is believed in heavily for their strength. males - 6 females - 4 nb - 2 (updated 11/25/18)

BAYCLAN INFORMATION
Ásbyrgi Canyon // Iceland
Tumblr media
Camp // Tunnels dug under an old cabin near the pond, completely hollowing out the crawl space. The cats have used mud, mixed with moss and slimy algae, to create compact walls around the majority of the crawl space, allowing for only two entrances/exits. The dens are lined with soft, rotted wood covered in dry moss and down. The cats have made attempts to get inside the old cabin, but still fear the possibility of a two-leg returning. Territory // Bayclan’s territory dips into the earth, completely encompassed by tall, vertical walls of stone save for one large exit. They received the clan name due to what the canyon once was; a bay filled to the brim with cool blue water. Now, the territory is dotted with trees and heavy brush, twisting and tangling along the ground eager to trip up a careless paw. An old church building is located here, as well as a car plot. The building is generally avoided, as are the thunderpaths. Nearest to the far end of the territory is a large, crystal blue pond. It is the last of the bay, and houses the cabin in which the cats made their camp under, as well as a rusted metal dock where young apprentices learn to swim and dive. (length of territory: 2.1 miles long .7 miles wide) Borders // The canyon walls of Bayclan are impossible to climb, even for the most determined cat, and a leap off of one would mean certain death. The only exit is north of the camp, which resides on the southernmost side of the territory. The canyon splits into two pathways, each slowly rising in altitude as they head in the direction of the other two clans. The right-most path leads to Rushclan, whilst the left brings you to Dropclan. Either path will also lead to a point in which you can climb the middle structure, leading to the gathering place. Prey and Predators // The cats of Bayclan are expert fishers, and pride themselves in their expert ability to dive for various fish and mollusk. They, however, try to only fish during certain seasons, so they do not deplete the lake. Birds are their next pick, with tasty morsels such as green wing teal, northern fulmar, ptarmigan, ravens, redwing, and eurasian wren. If required, the cats can usually find a mouse or vole shuffling about in the farther stretches of territory. Arctic foxes are rare, but still a danger, as well as gyrfalcons and snowy owls. Icelandic Horses and Reindeer may wander near the borders of Dropclan. Pelt Colours // The cats here favour warm, dark colours. Rich chocolates and deep blacks and blues. White, of course, is common, but is very difficult to keep clean. Waterproof coats are commonplace, due to their diet and knack for fishing and swimming. The webbing of a Bay cat’s paws is usually well developed, allowing their toes to splay far apart. Names // names regarding fish or two-leg items may be common here. Examples include wood, plank, minnow, tuna, ray, skate, crab, nail, and metal. Morals // Bayclan is reserved and quiet. They prefer to take advantages where they can get them, and can come off a little cold. They are extremely survival based, most likely due to the catastrophic weather events that plague their territory throughout the seasons. Bayclan believes heavily in Starclan for their longevity and strength against all odds. STATS 4 toms, 5 mollies, 1 NB medicine cat apprentice is still open!

DROPCLAN INFORMATION
Thingvellir National Park // Iceland
Tumblr media
Camp // Dropclan’s camp is inside a small hill roughly in the centre of their territory. Wildflowers and soft mosses build up a thick covering, reinforced further by briar and lichen. The hill has one opening, in which the cats can enter to reveal a moderately large cave system that spirals deep into the ground. It is, in fact, an emptied volcano. The ground is hardened magma, though still warm under paw. The leader calls to the clan from a tall ledge, and the dens are various large vents lined with moss and down. Territory // Wildflowers are everywhere, as well as moderately sized shrubs and the occasional birch or ash tree. The terrain is littered with hills and thermal vents, and mild earthquakes are not uncommon. There is a large fissure cutting through the territory, in which the cats often use to train apprentices the art of battle. With such an abundance of herbs, knowledge of flowers and their uses are important in Dropclan. Every cat is taught a basic understanding of herbs and healing; first aid, if you will. Two-leg settlements dot the territory, though small and unimportant. The cats avoid them with ease. Finally, streams and rivers cut through Dropclan every which way, requiring the cats to swim if they can not find a crossing. Borders // Dropclan’s border with Rushclan is perhaps the fastest river in the entire territory. Rushclan’s land, across from the river, is risen about three to four feet above Dropclan’s, and makes it appear as if dropclan ‘dropped’ into the earth. Bayclan, however, is separated by a thunderpath lined with yew berry bushes. Prey and Predators // Perhaps the most abundant with mammals, Dropclan boasts a heavy population of mink, mice, rats, rabbits, and vole. Arctic fox are commonplace here, and Dropclan hunting parties are trained with techniques to bring them down. Fishing is difficult in the quick waters, but still a possibility if one is determined enough. Occasionally a bird can be snatched as well. Though rare, the occasional polar bear will wander through the territory, and with such the cats must return to camp immediately. Snowy owls, eagles, and gyrfalcons are common predators. Pelt Colours // Due to Dropclan’s colourful summer landscape, the cats are often sporting vibrant reds, browns, and whites. The population of calicos and torties is greatly increased. The coat length is the most varied, with short pelts to long. Traversing the thick plant growth and hill scattered territory is difficult without long legs, with powerful hind leg muscles; which is exactly why this is commonplace for Dropclan cats. Names // Dropclan cats appreciate pretty names, often based around the flora and fauna. Examples include berry, petal, leaf, moss, fox, marble, and pebble. Morals // Dropclan cats are very soft and kind. They appreciate the finer things in life, and very much pride themselves in learning the basic art of healing early on. These cats believe heavily in harmony amongst all, and will aid those in trouble, regardless of political standing. Because of this, Dropclan is sometimes accused of having 'no backbone'. They believe heavily in starclan for their diplomacy and healing arts. STATS 5 toms, 4 mollies, 1 NB
