13) What’s a common writing tip that you almost always follow?

I am a big believer in using a little adverbs as possible. I know a lot of people disagree with this one, but no other piece of advice forced me to improve my prose as much as this one.

14) How do you write emotional scenes? Do you ever feel what the characters feel? Do you draw from personal experiences?

There's a little bit of me in every character I write, so most of the heavy emotions I give characters are based on things I feel emotional about. The process of me writing these scenes involve a lot of acting out the dialogue, pacing around my room, and a little bit of tears.

17) What do you do when writing becomes difficult? (maybe a lack of inspiration or writers block)

I read a book. A lot of my writer's block typically stems from me feeling like my writing has gotten stale. So one of my best solutions is to study other people's writing to pick up on more tricks and techniques I should use or faults that I need to avoid.

27) What is your most and least favorite part of writing?

My favorite part of writing is seeing my vague ideas take shape and become solid

The worst part is editing.

37) How do you choose where to end a chapter?

I try to make sure that every chapter of CTB has X number of plot developments so that no one feels like they wasted their time. Once I hit that number, I feel okay ending the chapter.

If I ever run out of space before hitting all the plot points I want to, I will pick a spot that feels final, like a cliffhanger or the end of a scene.

55) Of the characters you write for, which is your favorite? Has that choice been swayed at all by your followers/readers’ reactions to certain ones?

Obviously, I adore writing my terrible human being Warriors, which I have no doubt talked about to death.

I will credit readers response to swaying me towards enjoying writing Hyrule a lot. In turn, reader response has made me a bit more nervous about writing Sky.

74) You’ve posted a fic anonymously. How would someone be able to guess that you’d written it?

I don't think I could ever get away with posting an anonymous fic since I think my style is a little distinctive (or at least, I have tricked myself into believing it is). I would have to go to great lengths to not do a lot of my hallmarks, and even then I'll be terrified that I have even more writing quirks that I haven't even recognized.

If Devimon does end up digivolving when they fight to make up for the stage gap all I'm hoping is that it's to something like IceDevimon, NeoDevimon or SkullSatamon instead of Myotismon though, since Myotismon as a different entity is already so iconic in the original series. Unless Devimon as myotismon survives the encounter and becomes a major player

The only ways I think Devimon will be handled is either: 

he digivolves into Myotismon during battle

they’re saving him for Angemon’s debut (this is what I think is gonna happen)

there was a theory I read that Devimon IS Angemon but corrupted

There’s just no way he can fight a bunch of ultimates the way he is now. He’s gonna get stomped. Myotismon couldn’t do that in the original and he’s way stronger than Devimon. Even he had to evolve into VenomMyotismon to stand a chance against ultimates. 

I get not wanting Myotismon, but I have a slight feeling he will come back. I just don’t want VenomMyotismon to come back. I agree they should use different villains instead. If Devimon can digivolve into something else, I think that would be a much more pleasant surprise. But again, i have a feeling Myotismon will be here soon because he’s such an iconic villain from the original series. I only hope they’ll do something better for him instead of venommyotismon. 

Besides the anime is gonna have 66 episodes in total so I highly doubt myotismon will last that long. There will definitely be a more threatening villain. I just hope its not Piedmon and the others because tbh I think they were lame lol compared to so many other digimon they can use, they better not bring them back lol Instead of them they should bring someone new.

I think they could simply make Devimon way stronger than normal champions, in the original he was kicking everyone's ass and went giant. And as an example to ignore levels, MagnaAngemon beat the Mega-level Piedmon too

Yeah but everyone else was champion too. If they were all ultimate, I think the kids would’ve beaten him. 

To be fair, everyone ganged up on Piedmon (including wargreymon and metalgarurumon) BUT MagnaAngemon did do the finishing blow. I think if MagnaAngemon was getting ganged up on by 2 megas and a bunch of ultimates he would’ve lost too lol
