notes: i wanted to include reader in lazulight and i always think of the idea of elira being with another dragon😭

you were never very open with your feelings. except for when you were with elira. it was all just easier with her. you didn't have to worry about... anything really.

and while a lot of your new friends in nijisanji were very willing to talk about their own feelings, it was still extremely hard for you to do so as well.

you always felt bad at the beginning of your relationship with elira for not being very open about it. you could hardly hold her hand, could barely act as though you were best friends. (at the time you couldn't believe how enna and millie acted with each other)

when you were both accepted into nijisanji en as their first generation it was the first time you ever actually showed that you loved her in public. a sudden burst of excitement, nervousness, and happiness had you jumping into elira's arms, both your wings happily fluttering.

only to then feel absolutely embarrassed when you heard her family cooing and laughing.

and when you and elira officially debuted you immediatel strived to collab as much as you could. (without it looking suspicious in anyway)

people immediately dubbed you guys as the "complete opposites best friends" trope. and while it sucked you knew it was most likely better to keep it this way, as some people got too involved in peoples lives that weren't their own.

besides you had a sort of ritual at the end of each collab with elira. while elira was saying goodbye to your chat you would discretely mute yourself amd tell her you love her.

at first you could tell it flushed her to a point she almost gave you away, but by now shes so used to it she keeps talking away and waits until after both streams have ended to release the screams and blushes.

you also didn't mind doing this around certain friends of yours. mostly selen and nina. as eliras sister, you've already been subjected to selens teasing enough that you're immune to it.

and out of any of the other livers, ninas by far one of the ones your most comfortable with (excluding elira of course)

and so comes the moment you let your gaurd down. elira was doing a simple zatsu, looking to spend time chatting with her friends and her chat. it was quite late, elira had been streaming for around six hours now, reaching her limit. you had stuck around since the third hour and was rather tired from the social aspect of it, several of your friend making the stream extremely lively.

unfortunately for you while you're tored you tend to get more comfortable. with elira of course. so honestly no surprise when you utter out a mumbles yet very audible, "I love you..."

it is a surprise when you hear several gasps. one from elira, several from finana (each getting louder and louder for whatever reason), then from fuu-chan, reimu, and alban. plus a small drawn out "uhhh" from shu.

you squeak slightly as you suddenly feel flushed, your neck and cheeks feeling hot. embarrassment quickly taking over you leave the call as quick as you can, burying your face in your hands.

it takes a couple minutes before you hear your door opening slowly, light creeping in and a shadow approaching.

"y/n...? you okay babe?" you can hear the concern in elira's voice, her hand moving in slow circles over your back.

"yeah...im just... embarrassed i guess," you didn't care if people knew about your relationship, but you did care about how people saw you.

"don't worry about y/n! actually, you wanna see something?" elira grins holding out her phone, a screenshot of the chat at the time they heard say 'i love you'.

there was definitely more but these ones actually made you smile. it made you happy that your embarrassing outburst of love made people happy too that you actually expressed the way you felt for once.

seeing your smile elira grinned even harder, wrapping you up in a tight hug and bring you into her lap. you could hear a low rumbling deep in eliras chest.

sighing, you rested your head against elira's shoulder playing with the hem of her t-shirt.

You and Elira were streaming together, it wasn't any important or exciting stream, it was supposedly just a small fun and happy chatting stream. Though it doesn't matter what the stream is, any stream with Elira is happy for you.

"Wait so what food do you like?" Elira mentioned, you both were on the topic of food - which originated from you bringing up Mukbangs and ASMR eating videos.

"I mean I guess I like (favorite food).. but I can eat about anything" You replied, as Elira gasped in response

"I love those too!!" The sky dragon exclaimed happy as her model smiles brightly, also slightly swaying her head, making it seem like her model was resting on your model's shoulder.

The chat began to chat about the topic of - well, food. There wasn't much people watching the stream in the first place, yet you both don't mind the slightest, as long as there were still people there.

"Hm.. but I think there's another type of meal that I like" Elira suddenly spoke up with a smirk, you stared at her in confusion.

"What is it?"

"..You~" She smirked before throwing herself into fits of laughter, while you stared at her as red as a tomato. When you glanced over to the chat section, you could see that it was going at a rapid pace, and everyone in chat was freaking out just as much as you were.

"ELIRAAA!!" You suddenly shrieked, moving away from your camera to hide your red face in embarrassment.

"You're so cute when you're flustered, you know that (name)?" Elira snickered

"And you're such a teaser.." You mumbled quietly, face still red.

The soft glow of the computer screen illuminated Y/N's face as she sat in her room, streaming with Elira, Luca, and Reimu. The chat was buzzing with excitement as fans tuned in to watch the members of "Xsoleil" sing and chat. Y/N had been enjoying the stream, her laughter and smiles infectious, but little did the audience know that she had a secret.

In a quiet corner of the virtual world, Meloco Kyoran watched the stream, her heart aching. She was supposed to be there, next to Y/N, sharing jokes and laughter. But life had a way of throwing curveballs, and Meloco had been pulled into an unexpected meeting with her manager, leaving Y/N alone on the stream.

As the minutes turned into hours, Y/N excused herself from the stream. She knew her fans were understanding, but it still pained her to leave her friends behind. On the other side of the call, Y/N's voice was apologetic as she explained the situation. Meloco couldn't help but sigh, feeling a pang of jealousy towards that unseen family business.
