it's been a ride. I chose the university of michigan when I was 14 years old and it was the best decision I had ever made. it has been a dream come true playing here and wearing the maize and blue. as everyone knows, the past year has not gone in my favor. despite having a record breaking freshman campaign earning not only B1G Freshman of the Year honors and NCAA Freshman of the Year, I unfortunately tore my ACL and needed surgery.

I was heartbroken to say the least. I found my light at the end of the tunnel and worked hard to return. I was given full clearance to return to games 4 days ago as well as confirmation from the NCAA that they have granted me my medical redshirt giving me an extra year to play and I could not be happier with the news.

however, I have played my final games in maize and blue with Michigan across my chest.

after many conversations with my family, friends, trainers, and coaches, I have decided to enter the transfer portal and find my new journey. I have thoroughly loved and enjoyed my time here in Ann Arbor and I will cherish these memories and moments forever.

I am a michigan woman through and through and I could not be more grateful for the opportunities given to me by Coach Hutchins and Coach Tholl.

I hope to have everyone's support going forward as I find my new home and new journey.
