Farewell Sengul! You will be sorely missed! I honestly thought you would at least be a part of the downfall of Akif Atakul but alas it wasn’t meant to be!

But honestly, I’ve got respect the actors for leaving even though I want them to stay until the finale! Imagine playing a grey-shaded complex character, where you could have multiple storylines in which we kept guessing the true intentions of, only to be reduced to love triangles, jealous of mother—laws and basically a caricature of your character! It’s quite insulting!

The repetitiveness of each episode where you have nothing new to add to and only a few episodes in a blue moon to show your acting skills isn’t what any of them signed up for!

They could be missing out in so many opportunities for other shows/movies because they could have be told, this is what we’re gonna to for your character and then not do nothing at all! Which is how I feel Onur left!

The university storyline could have given all the students creative stories but no!

And now with Yazgi leaving! I don’t blame her one bit! The messages she’s been receiving after Onur left can’t be doing any do for her mental health! So it’s better for her to leave and not deal with the stupid fans!

I agree with everything you! The show had a very strong start and then it started going downhill after S2. The actors probably had high expectations but were disappointed when the same plot got repeated 100 times and the same things kept being written for their characters. I still don't get how Sengul left without them writing a farwell scene for her. I feel like Fadik suddenly stopped coming to set and they had no choice but to come up with a dumb excuse on the show 😂 I am curious how they are going to deal with her absence long term bc they can't keep on using the excuse that she went home bc her brother is getting engaged forever.

finally finished bir zamanlar çukurova and i have so many things to say:

full spoilers ahead!!!

why did no one care about gülten and saniye's deaths??? specially since it was super suspicious that they were in that road near çolak and his gang's crops. there were workers too that weren't allied to him who saw both of them argue with him and çolak aiming his gun at saniye. not a single rumour was started as it always happened... and iirc saniye and gülten weren't supposed to be there either, so how did that not raise any suspicion??

the story should've started closing up after yılmaz's death. the entire hakan plot felt like they just got rid of all the og characters to start a completely new series but zuleyha was still there.

i loved the behice plot though, she was by faaaaaarrrrr the BEST villain written. the way she made so many fair points that it made you mad that you agreed with her despite how evil and gross she was, ugh, chef's kiss! her ending was also very villain worthy!

on the other hand, i hated müjgan's off screen death. we already had so many dead main characters, we didn't need yet another one. her descent into madness could've been a much better reason to kill her off than just... a plane crash. very predictable and underwhelming.

the sevda and ümit plot was also very poorly done imo. it started off perfectly until ümit showed up and then it was a predictable mess. also the fact that they were killed off too?? wtf

oh, back to yılmaz and müjgan, i loved their relationships from start to finish. yes, specially the arguments, jealousy and the whole madness. one of the plots that were written perfectly, it was very realistic and I felt so immersed in their acting that it felt like i was part of their family presenting the whole thing

the biggest travesty was not ending the story with fikret and çetin married. those two were IN LOVE /hj

again the hakan plot was so stretched most of the time it felt like a drag having to watch

cevriye was by far one of the most annoying characters ever. didn't serve a single purpose other than waste screen time and piss me off with her stupidity. which, fair enough, there must be characters that make us feel like that but they should also serve a purpose. i hoped that her purpose would be make fadik closer to zuleyha like gülten was, but no, züleyha didn't even give two shits that there was people screaming and fighting in the kitchen 24/7 but would go running and lecture the townspeople for just breathing ¿?

not forgiving that after fekeli's death we didn't see his mansion anymore. his house was the best!

Zuleyha deve saldare un debito con il fisco A villa Yaman arriva un ufficiale giudiziario che deve pignorare la dimora, a seguito di un debito con il fisco. Zuleyha non è convinta, ma le vengono mostrati gli avvisi di pagamento che, però, lei dichiara di non aver mai ricevuto. Se il debito non verrà saldato, sarà costretta a lasciare la villa. All'arrivo dell'ufficiale sono presenti anche Feusun e Sermin. C'è un motivo per cui questi avvisi non sono mai arrivati a Zuleyha, è stata Betul, come spiega lei stessa a Colak, e lo ha fatto affinché la villa possa essere venduta all'asta e comprata proprio da Colak. Fikret immagina che dietro la faccenda ci sia Betul e va alla villa per affrontarle, ma una volta tornato al cotonificio ad aspettarlo c'è il fratello di Mujgan e i suoi avvocati. L’uomo vuole dieci milioni per rinunciare alla custodia del piccolo Kerem Alì.

Not only did they lose maddd views and ratings this season but they LOST the biggest characters with a hugeeee fan base!!!! they lost 3 BIG ACTORS in just one season! Fadik , onur and yazgi! And they want to go for a 5th season when s4 has horrible gutter ratings ???! Are they sane or what??? This can’t actually be real! I pray lizge , yigit or recep say no and it doesn’t happen. After all the only reason the show still has views is bc of 2 couples! Without Ayber and SusOm they’d have NO VIEWERS! And the main plot died when doruk died along with Omer forgiving Susen 🫣

I think they are hoping for the ratings to go up bc it's normal for the ratings to go down during ramadan plus last week's ep ratings went up a bit. It's the channel (atv) who is insisting on renewing the show. Maybe they can still make a 5th season with average/low ratings because of international sales because the show has good ratings in other countries. I don't know what is still there to write about for this show. They have been stuck in high school for 4 seasons and they keep writing the same plot for the adults. I just hope that they will send them to uni if they do renew the show for a 5th season
